No, not really. The thing is that when a small person has a good vertical you can easily notice it, but when it is a tall dude you dont realm realize it. Even though they have the same vertical as the small dude.
The only ones that I dont understand why they are here is Grozer and maybe Vlasov. I feel like Vlasov has a good vertical for a person of his height.
At this level of competition volleyball is a violent sport. Ever hear of a "Mikasa cross?" It's the welt that is burned into your skin from the lines on a volleyball that hits you on a hard hit spike.

Here before the Haikyuu fandom arrives and ruins everything. Most of these guys are around 2 meters tall but they're all somehow "THE LITTLE GIANT" based on the comments from most of these videos. Not to mention the ones who think Karasuno is a better team or at the level of these olympic level teams lmao. One comment read "Oh there are things Karasuno does better than these guys" while comparing 16-18 year old highschool kids to fully grown olympic athletes.

Yanagida: 340 spike - 186 height (away from 2 meters) = 154 cm jump
León: 380 spike - 201 height = 179 cm jump
Hinata: 333 spike (If I remember correctly) - 162 height = 171 cm jump

I thought I was doing good with my 110cm vertical lol I'm a bit taller than most on the list. So I guess I didn't need that extra boost lol. Gotta be careful getting your head that high above the net when blocking though. It's easy to catch a shot in the face. I learned that lesson very quick. Man do I miss playing at the high levels. Got my leg crushed and ended my playing days. A few of these guys are just sick though. Makes me wonder if the floor is spring loaded there lmao. Very good list, thanks for the post.
That's amazing! 110cm = around 44 inches for Americans. Micheal Jordan had around a 48 inch vertical and professional high jumpers 50. Yuji Nishidas is also 44 inches. Reach 240cm spike 350cm.
Think its funny how 1.97 m is considered very tall but all these volleyball players make the sub 2 m people look small

With all due respect, all those guys compared to Leonel Marshall, are like a little babies.
This shows why all the recent attempts to make rallies last longer to make the game exciting are missing on very obvious solution. The cause of the short points is that modern players have simply outgrown the current net height. When players can regularly get their entire shoulders above the net, there is nothing you can do to prevent 4-5 hit points. (serve, three hits and point, or serve, 3 hits, block and point) It truly may be time to think about raising the net height by 6 inches. Maybe more. At least IF they really are seriously about getting better rallies. That way, only the elite few could still tower over the net, rather than pretty much at least one per team being able to do it now. It would help decrease the short points in both offense and defense.
If they do that most amateurs can't event spike dude. I started playing volley this season and ,even with a regular thin body, only my hand goes past the net. Half my team can't jump spike properly. With decent train we could achieve a regular jump atack with the current net.

You`ll be able to know hard work if you follow this vertical jump method. Seeing the results will need you to follow and perform a tough fitness regimen. For me, following the book can make you maximize your effort and strength to the point where you break down and re-establish again. I increased my vert by around 10 inches in about 2 months.
