Phew! Watched this one again first and in tears! Don't know why I did it to myself again last time I saw this I couldn't sleep for thinking about it! My doggy has cancer was in hospital when I saw this and the photo album bit broke me and made me start my own photo memories book Now I can watch this one happily! Also my doggy is out of surgery and doing well thank god Thank you for bringing out a better ending we all hoped for!
I've lost my boy after 15 years it came out when he was really poorly and it had me ballin my eyes out yet he pulled through n I had him for abit longer lost him in November just gone. God I miss my pup💔🫶
SOoooo Glad they were Re-United. I don't give a toss that it is only an advert, the loss of a dog is Heart Breaking. I just hope I will re-unite with my little girl. 4 years and I still miss her every day, people say, get another one but to me that will be Disloyal to the memory of her, nothing can replace that love. So, for now I will just pet other peoples dogs and be happy when they wag a tail.
okay but like this has me in buckets of tears, i love my dog too much and if something like this happened to him i wouldn’t know what to do with myself either. I think this shows that people really are lonely and they need someone to keep them company even if it is a dog or any animal, they can cause people so much comfort
Yes they are good with children. My daughter used to try and ride in the back of mine when she was young and it loved her to bits. Always protective of the children as well
Both our beautiful staffies Murphy and miley were lost within 6 weeks of each other during first lock down ,our hearts were broken and still coming to terms with the loss,,they will always be with us and we think about them every day,,what a beautiful song and a very emotional video,,,
❤❤❤ staffies are such sweet hearts as are pit bulls i hate that they get such a bad rep its so unfair! I never want to watch this ad again I was sitting waiting for the dog to come home and instead they both died 😢 I know they were reunited but what the heck 😢 😕 😔
Omg can’t stop crying I have 13 year old staffy who’s been my best friend since day dot at 6 weeks old. He’s truly the most incredible dog and friend one could ever dream of having
This will bring tears to the eyes of all dog and other animal lovers. The loss of such friendship is hard to bear when you have had that unconditional love from them over the years. The bond between man/woman/child and a dog, or other pet, is unmeasurable as well as unbreakable and is forever. One day I hope to see our furry baby once again waiting at Rainbow Bridge. A truly emotional video and song. Thank you for the tears and memories that it invoked.
That was very moving.. My tears flowed down my cheeks, when the lovely staffy got lost.. His master just pined away and when the ghost dog, rejoined his master, they flowed even more.. WOW..
This made me so emotional I was hoping that the dog would find his way home or that the man found his dog when out looking. On the POSITIVE NOTE at least it showed they both found each other on the other side.💖😥
Tough to watch. I’ve given my whole heart to my 4 legged children through the years, (and they’ve given me theirs). Losing them is unbearable, but having the gift of them for a time is pure joy.
I lost my staffy a year this month the most heartbreaking thing in the world, so so happy you have used a staffy for this advert, there the most loving loyal dogs ever and this shows it, I sobbed watching this but the story behind it is wonderful
How can people not like this song I love it. Going to be on my own this Christmas as my mum in hospital. Might play this over and over. Just me and my cat trouble she's the best cat in the world licks the tears off my cheek when I cry.

So happy to see a Staffy. I lost mine before last Xmas. They get so much bad press. this is how they are . Full of love and loyalty. Shame such a depressing ending .
Yes they were reunited in the end, I am glad that you understand the message. Yes staffies are amazing. Check out my staffie Charlie who likes to sing on my channel! :). Thanks for watching!
my dog passed away earlier this year she was a staffy, 15 years old. i miss her so much and think of her everyday. i have her photos on my wall in my bedroom. this advert really hit hard
Chloe, we lost our Staffy earlier this year also 14 years old , my best mate , I feel your pain Chloe and this advert hurt bad. Happy memories of my lad. x
I have a 7 year old staffy and she has almost identical colouring and patches, I am not ashamed to admit that I was bawling my eyes out watching this! 😭
I stubbed my toe once...that made me cry more than this pile O crap. Merry Christmas, heres a guy dead from a heart attack, now enjoy ya mince pies bruh
Oh god ive never cried at a Christmas advert before in my life! This goes for the heart of every dog owner that has lost a furbaby, and those that pray we will be reunited some day. Its beautiful but agony to watch.
I don’t care what anybody says this is the saddest advert and it’s even sadder for me because I have the exact same dog and my dog looks like that one 😭😔
❤️So beautiful, pulled every heart string and more. I am sitting listening, looking at my little treasure, realising just how precious he is❤️Thank you for sharing your talent with us 🙏xx🐕xx
Good Luck with this Sam. I lost my Staffy yesterday and your song has really hit home about how rubbish this year has been for so many people. Time is a precious thing and we really need to appreciate life and loved ones whilst we can. Good Luck x
At a time is was alone I had a budgie. God how i cried when he died at 9 yrs old. We shared so much together. We moved house twice, had two jobs and moved to another area and through it all he was with me
This is such a sad story had me in tears from start to finish, I’m on my own I lost my dad this year on the 8th June 2020 no family left now. I owe everything to my beautiful cat she is my companion and my friend if I lost her I don’t know what I would do 😢😢
I lost my best friend Barney in January this year worst start to 2020 and I think about him all the time and now have my other bestie Rufus. Dogs are everything. I love you for making this and they’re now together💙💙💙
I love the song but the video made me cry so much what a sweet dog Bruno is? Reminds me of my Staffie Jake he had cancer and was put to sleep by the vet on the 8th February 2017 I’m still struggling to go on without him it hurts my soul not seeing my boy he was amazing, Bruno in this video is a sweet boy too his lil face? So cute, when pets pass on it’s the worst pain ever, I’ve survived breast cancer and so many illnesses yet losing my dog was the worst thing I’ve ever faced in my life, I stayed with him till his last breath he would have done the same for me I miss him so much😞
my dog passed away , i miss him every minute of every day, i talk to him, i think he knows i do, he is with me , he knows he is loved, one day i will see him again , i miss you big man x
I will tell you a quick story that genuinely made me believe that pets stay with you. I'll be honest and say that I was dubious before, thinking that people self comfort by believing the spirit of their lost pet stays with them, yet, whether they actually did was a different matter. A few years back I lost my horse. Her name was Webb. She was bright bay (brown) in colour, with two white rear socks and a star on her forehead. She was beautiful. She was older when I bought her and she hadn't had the best few years before I took her on - she was locked up in a stable without ever really going out to graze to/play/run etc. She had, understandably, developed a few behavioural issues. Cut a long story short (as short as I can anyway haha), I did a lot of work with her and despite us not seeing eye to eye in the beginning, we formed an amazing bond. She was allowed to run in the fields, roll in mud, and do everything else that a horse should be able to do. In return she gave me her trust 100% and always looked after me - she hadn't been ridden in a long time and when I first asked her if I could get on her back she was so well behaved and didn't put a hoof wrong. When I first brought Webb home, she had a habit of barging past me and bolting out of her stable, to then evade being caught at all costs and giving me the run around (because she was used to being cooped up). The field where I turned her out was quite a walk from her stable - from the field you had to walk up a lane (private and gated off), through a couple of gates, then through an indoor stable block, and then out to her (outdoor) stable. She would come to call whenever I went to take her out of the field. I would let her out and, in the end, I didn't need to put anything on her by way if a headcollar or leap rope, nothing at all. She would walk beside me up the lane, stopping if I stopped, trotting in a jogged, all by my shoulder without any ropes etc. She would then walk through the indoor stable block and then down the yard (without running off) and into her stable (the door was ready open). She was an absolute star! When I lost her, it utterly broke my heart. One day I was helping a friend out by doing some door to door charity work. I was in an area that was far from home and I didn't know any of the residents - I was literally knocking on strangers doors. I knocked on one such door and a lady answered. This lady and myself were complete strangers. Whilst talking about the charity (and only about the charity - I'd not told her anything at all about Webb, nor was I wearing anything that gave any indication that I even had an interest in horses) she asked if she could tell me something. I said of course. She told me thst she was a medium/psychic (or words to that effect) and I thought "oh here we go". She then told me that she could see a brown horse with a patch of white on her forehead over my shoulder! I was gobsmacked! She told me that this horse always stays close to me. It knocked me for six, in a good way! How could she have known?? What are the chances? I didn't know her, she didn't know me. I didn't have a social media platform or similar thst had information about myself or Webb. I hadn't attended, nevermind won, any shows with Webb. This lady genuinely couldn't if known anything about my horse. Now, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and you might not think it's possible for my horse to have been around me, but this strange incident definitely made me reconsider my former way of thinking. 4 years have passed since I lost my Webb and I still miss her. We didn't have long together, but the time I did have with her meant so much to me. I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to experience such a special bond with a beautiful, special horse. Thanks for reading ❤️🐴
@@Sarah-iw1mk that’s such a good story! It’s a comfort to know because death is do final. Your very good at telling stories. You should write a book. Like I said they never leave us. 😊
O my god I am 45 year old bloke and this ad just broke me. I know what he feels I still miss my dogs 2 years since they passed and remember my heartbreak when they died 💔 😢
Wow, what a video and beautiful song, it mirrors the relationship I had with my staffie, its been 20 years since he died of old age at 14 years.. I still have a photo of him in a frame and still think of him often.. After all this time I still miss him and have never replaced him..
I'm so emotional watching this. Our gorgeous Staffie girl, named Sally passed away only 5 days ago. Things are so difficult right now. I don't know what to do anymore. She was my best friend throughout all of my adult life, and now she's just gone. Made me smile though when Bruno was let off his lead, as he did the proper Staffie run that my Sally use to do in her younger days. Well worth buying for the money to go to charity
Cried so hard I woke my two doggos up them coming over and giving me the biggest love didn’t help the sobbing. 2 wet eyes and 2 furry wet coats. Single bought!!!!😭
Man this shit hit me hard I lost my dog today and the thought that this could of happened breaks me So glad I found him Great job on the video Touching af
I had to say goodbye to my staffy last Thursday, absolutely heartbreaking loosing your dog / friend. He had just turned 15 a couple of weeks before though so an amazing age..was very lucky to have spent so long with him! Certainly made this video more emotional, very well made and shows a strong message!
Never will you find a better love than a staffy, almost human with their character .so sorry for your loss just like this video you will be reunited again xx
I lost my beloved dog TAZ of 15 years a while back now. Everybody's emotions this year are close to the surface. How I would have loved him to be here this year. There is light on the horizon for 2021. All the best everyone. 😊
Nearly 24 hours later and I still have tears rolling down my face. Heart wrenchingly beautiful song and video. Brought back memories of my staffie who left me two years ago. Always loved Christmas she did 😍
Bawling! Grew up with a Staffie - Brindie... and lost him at age 7... same age as me at the time... still devastated. Swear he brought me up more than my parents. So protective and gentle towards me, and a fierce protector. Went walking with him at 3 yrs old..... he was out of control when my parents walked him. With me... stayed right by my side, no dog or human would dare come close to me when he was there, and for me he was always gentle as a lamb. DANG - have to get ready for work today and I'm a mess, can't stop crying. I really hope our animals are there to greet us on the other side... it would make the struggles of this life worth while to hear them and see them again. Wagging tails, warm little bodies and lots of unconditional love. Can't stop crying!
Hi Trisha ,so sorry you lost your dog at only seven. That dog is my dog and Sam is my son When Sam was only 2 we had 2 other staffies and our Clint was the same as your dog always protecting Sam whenever we were out.lovr sent to you.Hope you have a nice new year.x

So lovely, although so sad, but then life is about loss and sorrow, no one is immune to it. A beautiful song, absolutely lovely...although we do have to let go..we have to let the spirit fly and just hold the memory deep in our heart..
This brought such tears to my eyes. I lost my dog best friend of 10 years in June 2020, her name was Lucky and this really hit so hard for me. You did such a good job with the advert though! It just really got to me and all I could think about was her during it. It's so emotional but it made me smile at the end when they got to reunite with each other again ❤️ its such a happy/sad story.
It brought tears to my eyes as I've seen quite a few of my dogs out and hugged them as the injection let them slip peacefully away. Now I'm in a totally different situation having only a year or two to live I have to leave my three and a half year old american bulldog behind. ITis so much harder this way round and I had hopes of a little longer to live but with cancelled operations and clinics in the hospitals due to the corona virus and my problem being that i am in stage four of emphysema my doctors and nurses have all been dealing with the pandemic patients leaving me and others in my situation with very little or no expert support. Sometime when I can no longer live independently I will have to let him go but it will leave such a hole in my heart but I know he will be in a good home. I hope you raise lots of funds to help older people especially those who are growing old alone with no one to love them and those who are sick or vulnerable and thank you for the video because if we never knew a little sadness we would'nt know what happiness is. God bless you all.
Aww I’m so sorry for your loss. Yes This video was trying to represent staffies in the best way possible, while also raising awareness for the vulnerable elderly lonely people in the UK. if you could buy/share the video that would helps out!
Omg tears to my eyes I had a staffy we lost him last year 13 years old he went everywhere with me he know when I was poorly and when he passed away that was me broke me heart
What a beautifull advert, very sad however it’s also sending A clear message too. I cried my eyes out watching it, what a beautifull dog aswell nice they used a staffy they get so much bad press, very heartwarming also sad even though it’s a fact of life. What a great cause aswell I’m all for it. The elderly They are a generation of the elderly we won’t get again we have to look out for them in whatever way we can, I’m grieving for nan she just recently passed at the age of 96 x
Hey Christine, sorry for the late reply (I only recently logged back into this account). Thank you for your continued support. Dad and Bruno (Charlie) are doing good thanks, I hope you are too! ☺️
Oh god, I'm still crying, cried when he gave his doggy a chocol6and kissed him, cried when the doggie ran off, cried at him missing his best friend, cried when he found his Xmas collar, cried when he died and his best friend found him and they walked off together to heaven, and cried like never before when realising his best friend died alone out there...and still crying typing this...I'm an emotional wrecked 48 year old man 😢😭
I lost my husband (been together 36 years), almost 6 weeks ago. It was very sudden and unexpected. This made me cry my eyes out. The only reason I have for getting up in the morning now, is our beloved dog Amber. Without her there would be no point in carrying on. Well done Sam. (BTW -this is my husband's account, he was Phil)
Balling my eyes out 😭 lost my dog of 14 years in November last year so this hits close to my heart💔 they really are your most loyal companion and best friend 🥰
Sat here so emotionally wrecked lost both my staffs last year the first through old age the second six months later through separation anxiety... would never ever have another breed . This ad is so powerful and does a double whammy shows Staffs as they really are and the fact that the elderly need company. We will all be old one day x be kind
So sorry for your losses :(, I am glad that you appreciate that I tried to show staffies in a good light as well as highlighting loneliness in the elderly population. Thanks.
He came from a litter of 7 to our house and our staff was two years old they were like father and son incredible to watch and such good mates I can honestly say they never fought and although they had a bed each they slept together. When we lost the first the other wouldn’t settle and started to make funny noises sounding like a fog horn whenever he was due to go for a walk or he was out walking. We had check after check done at the vet but they couldn’t find anything he then started to have fits when hubs went to work he would fit about 5 mins afterwards. . The vet said it was due to stress and separation anxiety which can change the hormonal balance in dogs .
Beautiful song, Beautiful staffy breed, i've had mine 13 years now and i can't bear her not being here with me, my staffy Xena looks exactly like this staffy, black n white, lets all keep positive for a better year in 2o21, take care and stay safe everyone

😭😭 happy they got to be together in the end 🥰🥰. Love that ur showing everyone that staffy's are the best friend anyone could ask for. ❤❤👍
Happy memories of my lad. x
It is heartbreaking but 15 is a really good age for a staffy. Both mine were 11.
I'm crying right now I was hoping Bruno would come back on Christmas but they are together in heaven yhe song really got to me too
I have a 7 year old staffy and she has almost identical colouring and patches, I am not ashamed to admit that I was bawling my eyes out watching this! 😭
Same here
I stubbed my toe once...that made me cry more than this pile O crap.

This is the only thing that has ever made me cry on Tv and stuff I’m heartbroken
My 3 dogs justkeep me strong every day couldnt live without them 💙💗
Good Luck with this Sam. I lost my Staffy yesterday and your song has really hit home about how rubbish this year has been for so many people. Time is a precious thing and we really need to appreciate life and loved ones whilst we can. Good Luck x
So Sorry. :'( We lost our Staffy x Whippet on the 15th Dec 2020 as well. She was 15, so a good age, but last Christmas wasn't one of our best. :'(
This is incredible. I live alone and my budgie has been my saving grace in this current lockdown.I went straight to amazon and bought the song.
Thank you so much. Yes dogs can cheer us up even on our darkest days. Thank you for helping out.
I owe everything to my beautiful cat she is my companion and my friend if I lost her I don’t know what I would do 😢😢
You guys making my lady & I melt with these videos. Don’t Let Me Go! Minnesota won’t!
I actually think this is a happy ending because they both went to heaven at the end and are now in a better place together forever
I lost my best friend Barney in January this year worst start to 2020 and I think about him all the time and now have my other bestie Rufus. Dogs are everything. I love you for making this and they’re now together💙💙💙
I am so sorry for your loss. Yes dogs are so very precious. Thank you yes the message to take away is they were reunited in the end.
So sorry for your loss but think, they are all now happily playing on rainbow bridge. ❤
I lost my dog on January 20th the dog in this advert in the model of my dog very sad advert 😥
Love this alternate ad is showing staffies in a great way. Amazing dogs
Really made me cry so much whe m i saw it the first time..but the message was spot on..
I don’t think they ever leave you. The bond is to strong.

Yep. I’m crying. The dogs spirit jumping over him at 4:35 was the part that really opened the floodgates
I have just sat and absolutely sobbed at this... my dog is this dogs twin!!!! He has a advent calendar too :(
I am so sorry, I didn't intend to offend/upset so many people. So I remade the advert with a happy ending - ruclips.net/video/uLaU2bJu3XY/видео.html
Man this shit hit me hard
I lost my dog today and the thought that this could of happened breaks me
So glad I found him
Great job on the video

Wow thank you so much! ☺️❤️

So sorry for your loss.
Never will you find a better love than a staffy, almost human with their character .so sorry for your loss just like this video you will be reunited again xx
So sorry for your loss X
I lost my beloved dog TAZ of 15 years a while back now. Everybody's emotions this year are close to the surface. How I would have loved him to be here this year. There is light on the horizon for 2021. All the best everyone. 😊
I have a dog and a cat and I can’t imagine life without them both. This literally had me at tears in the first minute❤️
Sorry if it was too upsetting, it wasn't my intention to make people distressed, just to raise money with my charity single.

Hello Mary, how are you doing.
Omg i cried so much after this i have a 13 year old staffy and i treasure every day with her ❤❤🧡🧡
This brought such tears to my eyes.
My dog passed away yesterday and his name was also Lucky 😭😭
Didn’t realise tears falling down my cheeks while watching the video. So touchy-feely and sad. Cuddle my dog straight away.
Lost my grandma three weeks ago and this made me ball my eyes out. I hope the ending is how it is when we go x
Lots of love to you. I wish I could give you a big hug, from an old woman whose greatest love was a Westie called Shuggie. xx
I lost my staf in March and I got to 1:05 and couldn’t carry on absolutely broke me, so thankful finally people are understanding staf ain’t bad!!

I cried my eyes out watching it, what a beautifull dog aswell nice they used a staffy they get so much bad press, very heartwarming also sad even though it’s a fact of life.

Thanks.
Can I ask how the 2nd one died of separation anxiety? I've never heard of this before. Sorry for your loss ;(
He came from a litter of 7 to our house and our staff was two years old they were like father and son incredible to watch and such good mates I can honestly say they never fought and although they had a bed each they slept together.
AMEN. ""BE KIND""
Unpopular opinion: this is better than the actual John Lewis advert
I think it is too.
Beautiful song, Beautiful staffy breed, i've had mine 13 years now and i can't bear her not being here with me, my staffy Xena looks exactly like this staffy, black n white, lets all keep positive for a better year in 2o21, take care and stay safe everyone
