thank you!! and omg the food rlly be the motivating factor to get through every day AHAHAH
if you’d think you’d benefit please come to fan expo philly next year on the east coast! i bought things from jyk doodles (who i’ve seen in your videos) and while it’s also a comic-con and not all anime, it is definitely more anime than not. i would buy so much from you since i’m an annual goer.
Love your con vlog videos. Please keep making more!
YAAAAS new vlog 🤩
Such a cute vlog.😊❤
I gotta get to the east coast sometime and do a show. The aquarium looks awesome! Thanks for the fun vid. Oh, what would you say percentage-wise is fan art vs. original art at your booth? Keep goin'!
thank you for watching!! it was definitely a very fun experience doing a show in the east coast! the aquarium was absolutely AMAZING and i hope to come back Georgia and go again 🥺🥺 i'd say my booth at AWA was 80/20 fanart vs original? i'm trying to create more original content this year tho so am anticipating those percentages changing overtime!
@@drawnbyivy That's cool. Yeah, I urge everyone to push original content. I know it's not easy to get going compared to fan art. But being able to have a booth that's all your own art, it's a really good feeling.
What art do you have of your own that you'd really want to push?
@@sketchypeoplepdx definitely super excited to add more original art to my catalogue (tho I don't think I'd stop drawing fanart completely. drawing characters from the shows I love is so much fun!) ᵕ̈ I wanna create some OC characters based off my cats and draw more things that I love in my daily life! (plants, marine creatures, books, things relating to my asian heritage) illustrations of things that I love and hopefullyyy some original apparel as well!!
loved the vlog, your filming style is so neat! i was just wondering what camera you used?
thank you! ❤ I used the Sony zv-1 with some footage from an iPhone 13 as well! ᵕ̈
LOL the ending. I’m in the same boat with my vlogs 💀
me listening to myself during the "outro": girl dis ain't it fiGURE SMTHING OUT PLZ
Where did you get your wooden display stands for your mini prints? I'm struggling to find a stand that isn't absurdly expensive.
I got it on amazon! it's called the Barydat 4 Tier Greeting Card Display Stand. I have it linked on my amazon storefront under convention essentials! you can find it here: drawnbyivy.carrd.co/ ᵕ̈ it's the perfect size for my small prints!
@@drawnbyivy Thank you!
I was at anime weekend and while me, my mom, my dad, and my friend and her dad were all walking around we saw many….weird…things
AND IT WASNT EVEN AT NIGHT IT WAS AT 10 AM OR SOMETHIN-
Also I’m only saying this little story of something we saw in case you saw it too-
We saw this one bowser body pillow and it was very inappropriate and I’m only 11 and my friend is 10- I looked away and my mom stared at it not knowing what the heck we was looking at- both my friend’s dad and my dad both walked away and my friend said she needed to cleanse her soul-
App edictions plis

You're hotel was under $300????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Where did you stay!?!??!?! Did you share with like 8 people? How is that possible?
Another stall holder who doesn't say what they make or even ball park figures..So frustrating when you are trying to work out if it's worth it.
Why can't you just say how much you make.
I’ll be honest, I was waiting for this as well. I’m grateful for the overhead breakdown, but it’s not as helpful if the creator doesn’t share whether those overhead costs were covered or if they made a profit that justifies the expense…
I mentioned in the vlog that I made back all my expenses within the first day of the convention ᵕ̈ so everything for the next two days was profit. and that I would do the con again despite the overhead expenses (which I assumed would imply the profit was worth it). sorry if it wasn't clear!
Everyone has different takes on this but I think it is rude to assume people are going to share their figures online. It is a touchy subject.
The artist already broke down her expenses and even shared certain merch items (+ the qty) of how much she sold certain things.
That’s your ball park /o/
