As far as Pokemon typings in general, yes. In terms of Pokemon Go, however, incorrect. It either resists, is weak to, or neutral to another typing. So grass is weak to poison, steel resists it (no such thing as "immune" in Pokemon Go), and therefore it is neutral. If what you were saying is true, Registeel couldn't farm down a Jellicent with Lock-On, but I can guarantee you that you can find videos where it's been done.
@@thebottman1 immunities exist in pogo, they're just treated as double resistances - so registeel (steel) and nidoqueen (ground/poison) both have equivalent double resistances to poison, and ferrothorn (grass/steel) and regirock (rock) have equivalent single resistances to poison. This also means pokemon like mawile can have a triple resistance to a type, if one of their types is typically immune and the other is resistant
