Nicely filmed Chris. Drivers are sold from launch monitor data so it’s all about that ONE shot which bombs. Back in the real world, 43-44” drivers with loft are what’s needed for the vast majority of us. Well done 👍⛳️
20 HC here down under! Played my first 18 with the brnr mini today. Unbelievable!! The big stick gets me into some really difficult positions, even if I hit it well I find myself with a difficult chip approach. With the brnr, the misses were barely a miss and it leaves me a much more manageable shot in! Immediately my favourite club in the bag.
I have hit this driver at my local course where hitting fairways are essential unless you like 7 or 8 on your card and love it. I am tempted to buy one.
Just got the BRNR driver in the 11.5 loft. Absolute game changer. Excellent dispersion, great length off the tee, favours a slight draw. Definitely a keeper, however, if you get the stock shaft, you might want to consider an upgrade.
Very impressed with what I've seen of the TM Mini-driver so far. Since I'm about the same age and handicap as Dave, I might just have to test it out as well.
Purchased one this week, played 9 holes with it v impressed! Sound and feel excellent but most of all much better for me vs a 460 head which I just cant control. Play off 8. Tee height critical on these mini drivers, much lower. If your a player that struggles like me with the technique of a 460 head and sweeping up yet a much stronger iron player, descending attack I think these are perfect for your game!
The opinion I've been looking for! I can hit irons fairly well, very well for my handicap (18) but struggling with driver, can't adjust to the swing and longer shaft, leaving the face open for a year. Lose at least 6 stokes a round with OB drives. Sometimes more.... But can put my 4 utility iron out to 220 so usually put the driver away by the back 9. Might try my luck with the shorter shaft and larger than 3 wood head...
@@stuboy13 I would seriously recommend based on your comments on your game. Only downside I would say of the club so far is the Superstroke grip it comes with is way slimmer than standard. I changed mine immediately to a Golf Pride 360. I have tinkered with 460 drivers for years - its just not in my locker to adapt to a big tee sweeping up action, on a consistent basis. Your game sounds similar to mine. Stick me on a fairway rather than OB and guess what I score better everytime😂 I’ve left my ego at the door with this purchase but it looks quality. Good luck pal
@@davidcarr3636 that's it - struggling hitting way up on it. My ego remembers the 1 in 10 that I button it, but I probably hit a hybrid or 2 iron longer than driver as my drive is in the woods or the next fairway. Maybe it's just not for me. I was hitting an old persimmon wood farther on the range than my current driver and thought that's it, absolute joke. Something has to be done and lessons hasn't fixed me yet ha.
This course is beautiful. I can’t believe the grass on the fairway. My course in NE North Carolina has less grass. Difficult to hit fairway woods and irons
Would love to see the stats on the mini driver especially as Dave was hitting with the stock shaft. How that compares to the lighter shaft he has been using in the tests for the other drivers in the last few months. As a player who is also spec’s to lighter shaft I am curious to see if the stock mini driver would work without upgrading the shaft. These videos with Dave are super helpful. A swing consistency I can relate to.
Tested and fitted the mini driver last week. For me driver has never been great even with lessons. The new mini for me when set up right is a long fairway finder for me. Straight in the bag and drivers for sale. Longer clubs might give a better club head speed but no good if you can’t control it or hit out the middle. The burner for me is awesome and I have control. And for a mid handicapper it is forgiving.
great review ....i am wanting one of these mini BRNR drivers but am having a hard time deciding which one...13.5 or the 11.5 degree....wanna be able to hit off of fairway and use as a driver also from time to time....am 58 and swing the driver 90-95 mph..... which degrees would you think would most suit me for my needs ?.....thx....cheers from Vulcan Canada
Confidence is a big thing with Driver ,do you trust it to go where you want it to ?, the 11th is a great test of how confident you are especially when the wind is in to you!.
Yeah much bigger than a 3 wood. Feels more like a driver than a wood but sits somewhere in the middle for size. And yeah tee it low and hit down on it. Trying to hit up on it like a driver it feels terrible.
Can anyone help me out regarding the mini driver please do you hit it on the up same as the driver or do you hit down on it same as a 3 wood? Struggling to find the answer

Really interested in the Mini driver , really on or off with the driver but hit 3 wood much better. Great stuff Dave and Chris

AM seriously considering this piece of equipment.
Well played Dave ,mini driver looks perfect for you and most mid handicapper golfers like us
The coarse tells tye story, we don't get to hit off mats out there... great stuff as always
Dave is the man!

I love Flamborough golf course!
Dave played the 2holes well, notice you did not show the 4th hole the killer. Been there for nearly 6 years love it.

Very nice vid.....good info.......
I'm a +9, and the Mini driver has been fantastic for me switching from Stealth 2.
Taylormade 300 series mini driver is in my bag! 🐊🇺🇸⛳️
great hybrid on the first hole Dave
Cheers
It is a thing of beauty. Now if TM would release a 460cc driver with the same good looks if would sell like hotcakes
Dave's never been cute ! Nice work on the putting surface Dave !! (good luck at 1230 )
M1 rocks!

Very interesting review. Showing the data would be great pls.

Imagine having both of them, turn down the 11 one degree, turn up the 13 one degree. My next club would be my 3h. I really want to try these.
That G-String on the front.
Got 11-5 mini brnr, weight forward, longer than my sim2 driver
Why not pull the BRNR out on the fairway?
Is the head of the mini driver bigger than a 3 wood? Also, do you hit up with this or similar to a fairway wood?
Yeah much bigger than a 3 wood. Feels more like a driver than a wood but sits somewhere in the middle for size. And yeah tee it low and hit down on it. Trying to hit up on it like a driver it feels terrible.
Hi Chris can you get Dave to try the new big Bertha
Hoping to get him testing it next week 👍🏻
Can anyone help me out regarding the mini driver please do you hit it on the up same as the driver or do you hit down on it same as a 3 wood? Struggling to find the answer
Hit it down like a 3 wood
Hit down on it and treat it more like a 3 wood 👍🏻
But what are Dave's shoes.
More data is better.
