Correct, it's nearly impossible to hear the difference between 32/24/20 and even 16 bit 48khz. Some people hear 44.1 vs 48khz at 16 bit, anything above that is useful only for dynamic range, latency and multiple resampling.
The pro has a low mid bump, otherwise the DJI seems to provide a bit more treble, both are good enough in any case. But I think the benchmark is still the DJI Mic 2 with the connectivity it provides to DJI and Sony cams, ease of use and size/weight. And it's certainly pro, it's super common for TV reporters these days. Hollywood have much more pricey devices, similar to what's used in live audio. A con for both is their price, Rode and DJI will need to revise their pricing if they want the volume market, especially as the cheaper solutions are rapidly getting better and smaller.
Great comprehensive video ! I love the wireless range tests 🤣 I have a Shure wireless system for my bass guitar on stage. It usually works great but there's one venue where it drops out within 10 feet line of sight, I gave up and bring a cable. Wireless performance depends a lot on the environment, someone should setup a wireless stress environment for testing 😂
I'm currently testing a Godox wireless mic that plugs right into the Sony Hot shoe interface and no cable needed 😎
@@WORTHITORNOT Nice !
Another great video, btw you sounded like an angry seal in the outtakes 🤣
😆
Great review, seems like a good mic 👍
It's good
Very true statement about proper mic and recording techniques can make even 16 bit audio still sound very good. 32 bit is good for beginners that don't want to mess with doing it right. Rode does make good products
I agree 100%
Great review video, this sounds better than the other 2.
I think so too!
Hate to mention a different brand. But a few weeks ago you did a Ulanzi wireless dual mikes. For what i do they work fine. I’ll stick with them. Very happy with them on my iphone 15 pro. Thx
@@TimHWolfe They are definitely a good microphone set especially for the price
Excellent video. A bit out of my price range and as much as the 32bit stuff is nice, any recommendations for someone on a budget, internal recording would be nice too. Thanks
I would say the Ulanzi AM 18 from this video: ruclips.net/video/mlQn8jKke6o/видео.html
@@WORTHITORNOT Thank you
Nice kit and review, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.
We agree!
Prosumer? Are you making up words again?
That’s a good description. It’s better than a consumer grade but not quite there. I think Rode has money invested in the plastic industry- they are way out of date with the footprint for the transmitters.
Good review as always
You know me, Walking dictionary lol Yes I wish they were a bit smaller, but there is a lot of tech inside.
You have the best voice to test these mics, I think the RODE Kit sounded the best. Great Review. I own an original EODE Wireless GO set and the Original DJI MIC kit and holding back from buying anything new for now. I must say that was amazing to hear ZERO wind when riding your e-bike! Much respect & love from Down Under
Wow, thank you iSpike ! Hope you're doing well
