That was rough. How'd you make it out of there. With all those people walking around minding their own business. Dangerous. Look at those people walking around. Breaking absolutely no laws and going about their day to day lives. Even the sun looks angrier. I heard that place was rough. I better move. Thanks for bringing it to our collective attention
Hey thanks for watching and the comment! Yeah I agree! That’s as bad as it gets on a Saturday afternoon, some stigma. Honestly such a scenic looking area, with a small few that are sadly trying to make the best of their situation.
Very nice walking tour. Seems like this part of the city is functioning just fine. Enjoyed seeing all the people buildings and neighborhoods. Didn’t seem that dodgy to me. Some of those streets were tree lined and very clean. Been to NYC many times and never saw any crime there.
Uhhh ...I'm from 135th and Saint Nicholas Harlem, NYC!!!! All you filmed was everyday people that were living their everyday lives!!!! 🤷 Concrete Jungle where Dreams are made from!!!! 💯
Hello I think you vlogs walking are good have you thought about commentary with you speaking? Oh yeah one last question please are you on a scooter or bike? or are you walking real fast 😅😂 thanks man everyone like and subscribe to this yt channel
I could easily spend a couple of hundred just from the venders alone. All of the delicious food, that compares to nowhere else, and there’s a Burger King in there.
In any area, there is going to be more crime at night. I am a white guy who , as a case worker, walked around Harlem for the entire 1980's decade during the day, even when crack was big, and never had a problem. People who worked at night had their cars stolen a couple of times. I live in a quiet suburb of Philly now. But at night, we have people messing with our cars and porches and stealing things from our backyards around 3:00 am.
hey thanks for watching and the comment man! This whole area is historically dodgy (near 125th street). It's cleaned up quite a bit, luckily. Most people aren't used to seeing people panhandle or homeless so your appetite for sketchy areas might be higher than most. Hope you find the video you're looking for, luckily there's plenty on RUclips
So depressing seeing people down and out literally laying on the street and people just walk by them like they don't exist. We have really messed up as a country.

You must not live in a city. You gotta have a daily sympathy limit if you wanna get by. These people don't care about us either for the most part. You'd be broke and late for work in a half block if you acknowledged everyone sitting there.
@@SeriousBigwigOnYT I FEEL FOR YOU GUYS. I LIVED IN ATLANTA, HOUSTON, CHARLOTTE, AND NOW I STAY IN THE COUNTRY FARM AND BETTER NOT EVER BE ANYONE BOTHERING ME OR MY FAMILY! LOL! I LIVE IN A *FREE RED STATE!* THANK GOD!

Because you should never believe what Donald Trump and red state America say about New York City.
lol
Exactly....🤷
Nothing "Dodgy" here, looks like a vibrant thriving community. 18:37 Is that Debo ?

You're biking with your gopro on your head aren't you?
Nice video . Should try to do more in small neighborhoods like this one!

There’s a good pizza place just below 116&2 av, not sure if it’s still open
Patsy's since 1925. Still there.

Are you walking or going on scooter?
I’m on my bicycle just slowly coasting, thanks for watching by the way!
The only reason why anything, anywhere, in Harlem looks nice is because of taxpayers who live far, far away from Harlem.
Where do you go for Chinese food? I didn't see any in the video.
So many good spots to choose from around MLK Blvd. and Fredrick Douglas Blvd.
Looks WAY cleaner then it was in 2012😮 were did they send all the homeless? Back to wards Island
There were a couple of decent dollar slice pizza joints alon e 125 pizza to was one of them

Sorry forgot to mention I use a bike at a slow speed
Lol I got locked up selling metros at that 116st subway u just past 😢
Bill Burr is still lost at Malcolm X Blvd. and Danny Glover Lane.
How I made it through New York I minded my business and being street wises help and knowing and staying away from drugs cons and game players
Ok, this is not the dodgy part of Harlem. And, anyhow, Harlem isn’t particularly dangerous compared to many other NY neighborhoods.
lets be real, no parts of nyc is dangerous its more about who you run into
@@Newagerr1 Well, you’re more likely to run into the wrong people in East New York or Brownsville than you are in Astoria. I can say that much.

Looks like underdeveloped country in south Europe
I've been all over Europe and Harlem actually looks better than most NON tourist working class residential neighborhoods over there!
Hmmmmmmmmmm, not bad, better than LA, i should know I live here. Too many street vendors, not fair to the surrounding business's.
your cycling bro
Looks like business as usual
Never relax
Apartments around there better be under $700 or there's no justice in this world.
Cheapest one you can find is about $1100 with 4 roommates or $1500 for a small studio
Ok. Try walking at night with the camera.
When the world as taken advantage once 50 us what. Can ulul do
Wasted 18 minutes waiting to see the sketchy area and it never appeared. You want people to subscribe but you clickbaiting.
