wowww of course people love hating on a woman of color who succeeds. she is an extremely talented, visionary, and hardworking designer. i’ve always been a fan of her designs.
Of course, there are lots of bigots out there.
It would be a dream to work somewhere like this. Absolutely love Simone Rocha.
I love this designer, she's ultra feminine and strong.
All dress high powerfully......
That's a good documentation.
so beautifull
I love that she hires all women!
Hugs that the way it should be
It is mostly women that work in fashion. Even traditionally. Having only female employees is not that rare. Actually that's a quite controversial topic in itself since in this industry working conditions and selaries are exceptionally bad/low. Even poses the question if the toxicity of the industry is linked to the overrepresentation of female employees.
very very very nice.
glad she's happy in how she's working. like that pin cushion that straps around her wrist
Wow. She’s a lot younger than I thought she’d be.
Your content ideas are awesome
I want work about it...I know nothing....
Have a good day
Waw
Isn't this gender discrimination? I'm a guy, what if I want to work for her company? There'd be a riot if NYtimes post a video about an All-Male Fashion House...
could you go be a bother elsewhere?
I'm a girl myself, and I agree
she said it just happened though, it likely was coincidental to do with the applicants

@@graciepuit7337 no one cares pick me
Would this be sexist? coz' if it were all-male fashion house, it'd be!!!!
There's nothing sexist about women making clothes for women... If anything, it's more concerning when men dominate and control womens fashion and push what they believe women should look like, and what they believe femininity is.
Men dominate most work places, so no. It's like saying having the BET awards is racist towards white people ... you can't. If they have the monopoly on everything else, it's almost necessary to create your own environment.
@@Ruwen.S Be sure men do not dominate the fashion industry, its a great misconception, yes there seems to be more men at the very top, heading grand fashion houses but be sure the greater and wider industry is dominated by Women. the situation you see here is not that rare, lets be honest one only has to look at how many women take degree course compared to men to know this is the case
@@lostfaithand “there are most men at the top” you just lost the argument right there lol
@@AJtheEngiqueer absolutely, wrong your thinking of high fashion, Paris fashion week which doesnt intereste most peaople, is dominated by men, the greater industry high street, ZARA, ASOS, HnM these brands are massive and are dominated by women, i work in this part of industry. no argument lost!
Isnt that sexist???
No. Did you watch the video?
C'mon, Irish? I can see all Chinese in the video. She is Chinese and she hires Chinese. If you are born in Ireland but you are Chinese, that doesn't mean you are freaking Irish.
So what is it that makes a person Irish?
@@margaretryan4338 her mother is irish? and she was born in ireland...so yes she is irish
@@hannahmonaghan178 that's my point, she's Irish. People may be of different ethnicities and still be Irish 👍🏻 being Irish isn't about being caucasian
Helge Alex Reed ah feck off
Boah !
