Really love and appreciate the uploads @jtmahoney , however I think there is an act or chapter missing in this one or did they mess up on original release?
Thanks for making it available, but by 26 minutes i got sufficiently annoyed with the mischaracterizations of a thrill seeking white water rafting McCoy, a Scotty who would openly express derision to his peers about the new captain at a reception meant to honor him, and the portrayal of Kirk as some sort of immature leader by this point in his career. Maybe a brash arrogant ensign, or at most at the rank of Lt, but by the time he passed Lt. Commander, and Commander to ascend to the youngest Capt in star fleet he would be way more savvy then to talk to an admiral that way, or be goo goo eyed at the sight of one of his female officers, etc, etc. And if you are going to display Spock’s internal thoughts, try not to make him sound like a stuck-up jerk.
