Sir In 1.2 tire and traction vedio. What will be the effect on section height or dia. Of tire if moisture contect in soil is 20% on which the tractor is standing..
Hello Amit, There is no clear cut method by which you can directly say the effect of 20% moisture content on tractor overall diameter. i have explained in the video that it depends upon load coming on the tire, tire inflation pressure and tire deflection. If moisture will be high then soil will be comparatively softer and tire can penetrate more into the soil, but as far as tire diameter is concerned, it is the tire basic geometry ( section width, rim diameter etc), load on tire, tire inflation pressure and resulting deflection of tire which will affect its overall diameter. Moisture content of soil will not have any direct impact on tire diameter. But at the same time if you keep all other factor same then your tire deflection should be less in softer soil. Hope it helps.
nice..please explain a complex numerical on this
Sir what are the topics we need to study for aptitude section in gate please upload one Introduction video
sir, rim diameter = section width?
Sir if we consider the tyre as a deflected one then for finding overall dia of tyre we have add deflection by 2 times or one time
Hello Mahesh, For deflected tire, deflection value needs to be added only once not twice.
