After years of going without watching any racing I found a new passion in watching fullsize baggers racing. These teams are exciting to watch as they push these big bikes to the limits. Kudos to both Indian Motorcycles and Harley Davidson for an excellent exhibition at the King of the Baggers race.
I’m in the same boat
The disshonest things about these event 》they keep use maskmandate infront of camera. I thing baggers in florida stop watching these event for a while

This is easily one of the most entertaining forms of racing I've ever seen. Literally had me jumping out of my chair during those passes!
This has to be one of the coolest motorbike racing series Harley vs Indian baggers. 🤘🏻🔥
Such great riding!!! Absolutely love King of the Baggers!!!
I can't wait for more! Also, I want to see some BMW R18B, Kawasaki Vaquero, Yamaha Eluder and a Honda Goldwing and it would be the baddest sickest bagger match of the year!
Love the baggers. Would like to see more racers in it.
Stay tuned for next year! The series is growing bigger and better every season.
More and Longer races!! Please 🙏
@@MotoAmerica exactly what I wanted to hear.

Thanks
Great racing!! Love how they kept the panniers! The speed the leaders lapped back markers, made me think they're still carrying tent & case of beer from Sturgis! Never mind knee sliders, these guys need luggage sliders 🤠
Omg 😱 Amazing Sounds
ほんとすごい、日本じゃこんなカテゴリ考えられませんね
youtubeで拝見できて幸せです、ありがとうございます!
Great racing. Nice change from watching different paintjobs.
I love this series. Many thanks for the coverage, sponsors and riders. Commentary and everything is spot on. I ride a 10 yr old BMW R1200r bagger in the UK and would like to see BMW and some other manufacturers involved but it is great entertainment as it is. Nice shots of the crowd enjoying an all American day out too. Thanks.
Agreed. Throw in a FJR1300 and a Kawa Connie. Maybe that would be too unfair though for the Hardleys and Indians.
@@-Primer- sport bikes with bags aren't baggers, you'd have to bring a star or vulcan...the bmw k bikes probably wouldn't qualify either, have to be a transcontinental or another r18 variant...
@@thestcroixkid The FJR1300 is not a sport bike with bags. It's a Sport-Touring bike. Neither is the Connie. A "bagger" is a bike that has saddle bags so it can go on long "tours". I know serval riders that have made the trek from South Carolina to Alaska on a FJR on multiple occasions. You wouldn't do that on a sport bike.
Full tank nets you roughly 260 miles on a FJR / 6.6 gallons. Indian Challenger gets 250 / 6 gallon tank.
Wet, the FJR weighs in at 650 Lbs. 200 Lbs heavier than the Yamaha R1.
The bikes in the video, some are 1800 CC. I just think it would add some interests to have a 1300 / 1400 CC Sport Tourer to the mix.
@@-Primer- you missed the point again, those bikes are far closer to sport bikes than a actual bagger will ever be. A different set of bars, pegs and a Corbin seat away from legit track days. They're out of class to boot, they have "sport" in their titles fer chrissakes...who you kidding? You "thinking" they belong isn't "thinking" at all. A race prepped Concours would eat an actual bagger...it is by no means a fair fight...wake up.
@@-Primer-BTW, The lineage of both the Concours and the FJR ARE SPORTBIKES...ya dummy, they were built into their current roles from the ZX10 and the original FJR which were among the most respected SPORTBIKES of their day....go use the internet youngster....
Thanks for uploading ! Love watching these 2 wheeled Rhinos battling it out like 600's ! 👌😂👍
EDIT: That was intense towards the end.
Love this series and I don't even like baggers or cruisers !
I guess racing it's racing, be it Lead Sleds or Superbikes.
Looking forward to the next races. 👌🙂👍
Would love to see other cruisers from other brands battling it out with Indian and H-D.
Maybe a Moto Guzzi MGX-21 ?
Also, the grid it's kinda smallish.
All in all, great racing. Thanks, MotoAmerica, racers and sponsors ! 🤘😎
Thanks for taking the time to watch!
This just makes me want another Harley...
This motorcycle race makes me ask myself,
*"Why and how did this race exist, yet it is so cool?"*
this is like the nascar of motorcycles, unrefined.
Georgia…. A different type of crowd.. Harley fans!!
This is what the entire world actually wants Harley Davidson to make !!!
Always fun to watch, I hope to make it back to Laguna Seca after almost 20 years of missing it. Maybe open up the class to other manufacturers??
Incredible what that guys are doing with this heavy big bikes! Thx for uploading.
They are special builds with the weight trimmed to 635 lbs, they aren't 850 like what's on the showroom floor. Granted, 635 is still a fat pig.
Awesome race Harley Davison V Indiana motorcycle racing
One of the best series on this track besides supertrucks and Sports car challenge gt4 cars; too bad there's no jumps!
🔥 thanks for posting I missed this one
this is so cool. most american thing ever lol
Yeah indiespace very American behind the times slow and pointless just like your president

@@leewoolley1622 Not perfect, but still a great country despite sleepy Joe.
Espectacular carrera y precioso circuito, thanks
Pretty bad when you pull up to the start line and your chain falls off. How did that happen, Mr Mechanic?
Are you a perfect mechanic somehow?
@@__mayo1802 You must be psychic.
Great racing Idea. Just need more brands of baggers.
Awesome race class with some amazing racers.
Hey Harley Davidson ... where is Eric Buell when you need him ???
Indain of course... We are the best...!
Why are they going clockwise?
Its like watching a race in slow motion..but fun is whats its all about
That was great!! The rivalry the ride back
I wish they used dynas or sportster. Racing baggers is like racing a sport truck. Fast but ultimately limited by the platform. You could build a fast standard style sportster/dyna, without any bags as a true sport machine.
would like to see more bikes Honda Yamaha MotoGuzzi Aprilia Triumph KTM
Baggers???
Yes including BMW
Man i love this!, greatings from the Netherlands
@MotoAmerica is there any other brands that interested on king of the bagger at the moment other than indian or harley
The King Of The Baggers class is currently only open to Harley Davidson and Indian.
@@MotoAmerica due to engine type rules (v twin)?
How do they cut near 200lbs off these baggers?
What was their average speed ?
I shouldn’t have watched this when I am going to bed.
where are all the other brands?
This is ridiculous cool 😎 though would love to see other manufacturers entering the Big boy Racing class.
It could be cool if they had other manufacturers. But not allowing some of the top brands to compete it makes it pretty ridiculous.
@@steveh7108 Not allowing manufacturers?
@@motoman7445 maybe I should rephrase that to not involving other manufacturers.
If you only have Harley and Indian then it's pretty easy to be #1
Sounds like a 50-50 chance without even trying to me.
There is many more manufacturers with bagger bikes out there that should be involved in the competition.
good racing
Finally something I can get into!
This is awesome!
6:51 that’s a challenger and a street glide or ultra glide, right!?🤨🤨🧐
Thats extra tank or side box ? Why not put of them
Ponch and Jon on their KZ1000's would smoke this sideshow. 11:30 till any real action, weak.
I ride Yamaha Super Tennere, is there a race that has my personal favorite?
Scott....The VESPA GIRLS ASSOCIATION.... You'd fit right in on your Yamaha..
I didn't know this existed until today haha. I like it.
This is the Most American thing I have seen ever....
Love that.
It's like making a limousine as a racing monster machine. It's new but great
Looks pretty fast :D
Nice racing!
A starting field of six???
its between harley davidson and polaris who bailed out on there victory motorcycles!
Japanese overhead cam design versus pushrod engine, no comparison.
Good race
Now I would like to see them race stock ones LOL....Girly belt drive an' all. These are maxed out race bikes, good racing though.
The Challenger just features S&S bolt on parts and a tune, OEM FTR1200 front forks. Brembo brakes come OEM.
Most of the work is the carbon body panels to dramatically reduce the weight. The stock Challenger does a 3.8 0-60mph and a 12 second quarter mile in full weight. It is an impressive machine as it sits out of the factory.
@@jordanerickson3714 agreed but they should allow BMW and Honda to compete if they really want to get serious. Otherwise it's just smoke and mirrors.
@@steveh7108 keep it american
@@superbarnie American-made pride is good but being scared to compete in a global competition is bad and embarrassing.
Hannah Lopa really knows what she's doing.
Now run them with a passenger.
Exactly what I was thinking
Don't forget to give the passenger blunt objects to swing at the other riders. God I miss road rash.
Didn't know I would enjoy watching this than SBK and MotoGP. LOL
When is BMW going to racing in these??
Hi from Sibiria!
Would love to see a Victory cycle
you just did its called an Indian now
It just doesn't seem like the right thing to do- Best motorsport comment ever. I live up in Santa Cruz mountains in Nor Cal and we have some insane roads up here. I usually ride sensibly but on occasion some dude will come up behind me on my prepped HD bagger and get on my ass like ok dude get out of the way. Then I proceed to embarrass them. It is more about how far you are willing to push and your skill level. A lot of the sport bike guys think having a sport bike makes you an instant champion- Until their bike is sliding down the road and into a redwood tree.
@MotoAmerica Are you bring the Royal Enfield Championship back next year?
Yes!

Edit: I see The California is still there.
Q. Why is the King of the Baggers Championship such a big deal?
A. It's the only race Indian and Harley have a chance of winning
Joke. I really enjoy the series
Exactly. It's easy to win the crown when no one else is allowed to compete.
It could be really cool if they allowed metric Baggers to compete and kept the modifications down to tires exhaust and safety precautions.
this is ridiculous....
but totally so cool...its big, its fast. love it
wow sangat menarikk bagus lanjutkan 🙇
Where is the Bmw k 1600 bagger??
Nice race but it Will be better
👍👍
Wins the race does a wheelie breaks his bike leaves bike on a wall and rides on the back of another racers bike this shit is wild I love it!
Salam from indonesia🤟🤟
They should all start the race by sitting at a bar, then they need to run to thier bikes and every 3 laps they need to stop at the bar again, slam a drink and keep doing it over and over for 20 laps.
Make the teams put a 6 pack and some tools in each bag.
Almost as cool as lawn mower racing
Tell me you think you're cool without telling me you think you're cool
UK comment Parish would have been good at this... Truck on 2 wheels!
Come on BMW Motorrad! Get into this with either your R18B, or better yet, K1600B! The K bike would be awesome to see in this.
Man this is soooo good O'Hara rode like a beast
He kept taking his foot off the peg for no reason. He needs to keep his feet on the pegs, and get through those corners faster.
why don't you just take the back box off, Jon
Go to mandalika cirkuit,,,🥳🥳
Indian Power !
Man,I thought I was a good rider....Iv'e just been schooled!!!
YAMAHA big name and strong 🏁🏁🏁
635# the allowed Minimum weight .. Indian 108 CI HD allowed 131 Cubic Inches..
Skip to @11:40 for actual race start... until then blah blah blah etc etc
How do they steal that much weight off of these bikes? Carbon rims..... CF bodywork I could see losing 80 or so....
Great
so this is the nascar of motorbikes?
Yeeeah buddy, pass the tortillas
I can out drive both Indian as well as Harley Davidson motorcyclists… put me on the next Harley Davidson Street Glide in a bagger race!
Those amis are crazy
Make them race 2up
Harley should use the twin cam 110 screaming eagle it’s faster than the m8 that wyman is using
Nice to see racing on "non-ideal" machines, makes it interesting. But it could do without the immature announcers trying to whip up the HD vs Indian frenzy.
Slam sukses selalu kk ya hadir menyimak bos ku semangat trus
When is this gonna be made into a video game like moto gp? Lol 😂😂😂 that shit will fly off the shelves
Looks just like last year. I had to check when it was posted. 6 bikes start 1 hardly breaks down on first lap then 2 other hardlys get lapped. Sad sad sad.
Just heard about this 🤯
Welcome to the show!
They should make the bikes be real baggers off the showroom floor. Floorboards, crash bars, crappy stock suspension...
THe Indian Challenger would be at an even bigger advantage. It has a better motor and it comes with Fox suspension including inverted front forks.
Too bad the baggers that ride Ohios Rt 555 do not run this fast, it would make my rides on my Goldwing a much better experience.. unfortunately typically running up on baggers that are going about 40 mph.. And even at that speed most have trouble controlling them.
Who said baggers were slow touring bikes? Now you know, Son!
