The problem I have watching your videos is that it just adds to the list of things I want to build. I just hope to get them to your excellent standard one day.
Omg the idea to cut the masking for the hub an disc is amazing. I usually do it by brush an end up having to touch up either disc or hub to get it perfect. So glad I’ve come across this channel. Gonna buy the Subaru, a build it following it step by step.
Very nice. I used Eduard photo-etched seatbelts which are pre-painted with all the markings, stitching etc on the belts but wish I hadn't. The metal is quite stiff and a few weeks after gluing the bodyshell on (due to a broken pin where the front of the bodyshell fixes to the chassis) one of the belts (which I had to glue to the seat back during the build as they would not lay flat like fabric does) popped off and even pulled the black paint off the white seat with it. I had to use copious amount of de-bonder to get the bodyshell off to effect a repair. I have removed the side windows and am going to cut them so both driver and passenger doors have no windows so if the belts pop off again I can stick them back down through the opening. So the moral of this story is I do not recommend them.
Hey Paul. Great vid and thanks so much for sharing. Well, maybe the yellow seat beats would've made a good contrast but I think you made a good choice my man. Paint job looks amazing also! Keep on building!
Hi Paul. Love your videos! Another chrome paint to try is greenstuffworld chrome. You can get airbrush ready bottles. Really lovely chrome and bullet proof once dry. Fine to handle without loosing sheen. Keep those great videos coming! Cheers Nick

Looks amazing as usual mate, I like the red seat belts, the yellow may have been too stark a contrast. You made the right choice I feel.
