These reports typically begin by asserting that Pakistan lacks the funds to purchase the most advanced fighter jets. However, they overlook the fact that Pakistan is not only acquiring advanced jets but is also developing 4.5+ generation fighter jets and exporting them despite its economic challenges. Anyways, Indian media deserves credit for continuously reminding Pakistan of the need to rebuild its economy.
On the other hand, despite India's substantial foreign reserves, it has yet to produce a fighter jet that has gained international recognition. India's well-known diplomacy efforts have been unsuccessful in exporting even a single Tejas fighter jet. Some reports suggest that India was even willing to give away its pride fighter jet, the Tejas, for free in hopes of celebrating this historic export, but no country accepted the offer. Following the failure of the highly publicized Tejas, the AMCA program was initiated to develop an indigenous 5th-generation fighter jet. However, this program has faced an unexpected setback as American GE has almost refused to provide the engine.
