    I've never been a conspiracy theory guy, but these last 3-4 years, I truly believe the Refs are intentionally this bad. NFL, NBA, and NHL all 3.

    That was a lucky bounce goal that would have almost certainly jump-started the Bruins on a comeback trail. But no, it just HAD to get disallowed. I think the Bruins hold the record for most challenged-then-overturned goals.
    Also, the clock got rewinded back 17 seconds after the overturn. There needs to be a limit as to how many seconds pass between potential offsides then a goal scored.

    Yeahhh I'm gonna have to agree with the linesmen here. Brazeau is obviously offside, and while Krug touches it last, it's not in a way that he controlled the puck into the zone. It's not simply who touches it last.
    Sometimes, these calls fall your way. Sometimes, they go against you. I was in Minnesota last season when we had 2 go our way. I bet we weren't complaining about offside reviews that day.

    • @bradnosebest2319

      Straight from the NHL rulebook:
      "If a player legally carries, passes or plays the puck back into his
      own defending zone while a player of the opposing team is in such
      defending zone, the off-side shall be ignored and play permitted to
      continue. "
      The rule makes no mention of "controlling the puck." Krug does play the puck back into his own defending zone. This should have been a good goal based on the rule as written.

  • @kingkol2014

    Blame Boston's coaching staff. Even though the play had been reviewed, they should have challenged the reversal

    • @angushiltz4880
      @angushiltz4880 2 месяца назад +4

      They can't challenge when they've made a decision on review. The Linesmen aren't going to change their mind after watching the replays and making a decision anyways.

      @@angushiltz4880no but in this case, the bruins should have challenged that krug brought the puck into the zone himself. If that was taken account of in the first challenge, then that’s fucked they called no goal, but if not the bruins totally could’ve challenged that

    • @angushiltz4880
      @angushiltz4880 2 месяца назад

      @@ZIMMY0719 you can only challenge for offsides and goalie interference as far as know. Edwards and Brickley later in the game said the NHL released a statement that the Linesmen determined that it wasn't brought in by Krug. And that Krug only deflected the puck and caused the offsides. And I'm sure that is what was said to the coaches.

    • @Shatamx

    If you go by the actual rule, they weren’t wrong. It went off of the Boston players stick and hit Krug’s stick, Krug didn’t intentionally bring it in the zone..I love all you homers who think you know everything. If Krug brought it in the zone, it’s offside. It deflected off his stick.

    • @lordexorr
      @lordexorr 2 месяца назад +6

      If you think that’s “hitting Krug’s stick” then you have no idea how skilled hockey players are. Krug is clearly pushing that puck away from Brazeau. Krug was intentionally knocking the puck away from Brazeau and it went into the zone which means Krug intentionally brought it into the zone.

    • @bmil38
      @bmil38 2 месяца назад

      Yep. Sometimes, these calls don't go your way. I don't see any way Krug had control of the puck to bring it into the zone.

    • @bmil38
      @bmil38 2 месяца назад

      @lordexorr Intentionally knocking it away from another player's stick doesn't mean he had control of it to bring it back into the zone. You have to have control of the puck, whether that's carrying it or making a backward pass, for offsides to be negated.

      Krug plays the puck back into his own zone. By the text of the rule, this negates the offsides.

    Would love to know why offsides even matters after all players from both team are fully in the zone and they defensive team has touched the puck. Shits stupid as fuck
