seeing as though vanguard as a whole flopped tremendously, ww2's campaign had memorable characters, but not "oh shit we can make money off of this!" characters.

Because now treyarch uses mocap and try to make the actors faces match the characters and James C Burns doesn't look like Woods I wish they just used his voice and dubbed it over the mocap actor for the newer games tho

Well this game will be in between bo2’s past events and 2025 events so I guess you could say half of bo2 covers the rest of the 80s and bo6 will cover the 90s completely

If you can’t tell that the ending where woods gets up out of the wheel chair isn’t canon then you gotta go back and replay it, all the characters you see in that ending died

Yeah black ops 4, but that wasn't really mason and woods. It was an archetype( bo4 word for clone) which is what is basically a explanation for different characters from diff cods in bo4s br

So we won't have mason as an operator in bo6 then? Is there a cannon ending in bo2? Because for all I know the cannon ending is mason is dead so he can't appear, if they do bring him back as am operator that means woods is a bad shot and didn't kill mason, but he also knew the whole time that he was alive during black ops 2
Bo2 also takes place in 2025, its possible we might see teasers of Alex being alive but not confirmed (atleast to David and Frank)
The cannon ending is ultimately the good ending of bo2 so harper dies, sparing farid who saves chole who can then hack the salerium and stop Menendez making him a fraud as he is spared by david. China and the US move together and work with eachother briefly to repair their nations
I don’t know about you all but, I really really want Woods to be able to walk again.
I hate the new timeline stuff, its so confusing and unnecessary. What rlly ruined it for me was mw and cold war having a connected verse possibly retconning bo2(now we know its still canon) but due to bo4’s ending to zombies making one single timeline also affected the other games(which is stupid)
And HONESTLYYY, they COULD retcon bo3, instead of the og bo3 campaign show us what REALLY happened(iykyk)
