Bro it's not worth it , to be honest even I got into BTech Biotech program but then left becz there's no selection criteria u fill the form n that's it , n there's no particular chapter/ clubs for biotech out there. Your won't be getting a good exposure .

U can google it ,get the ranking, search which team won iGEM(The International Genetically Engineered Machine)2018,2019 . How many dedicated chapters VIT has specifically for Biotech, check the curriculum, how many students publish research papers during undergrad, how many students are studying in Stanford, Harvard specifically form SBST-VIT ( school of bio sciences and technology) . N ask your friend whether he is allowed to be part of research projects during his 1st or 2nd year , how many clubs or chapters do they have particularly for biotech
@@aakashshirudkar8781 Yeah if u have a good score say 85-90 or 90+ in your boards u can apply to topmost engineering clg in india like Thapar, manipal,VIT( vellore campus) ,SRM (KTR Campus) coz it's the exposure that actually matters . If u have a score in between 60s or 70s then shoolini is absolutely fine . It will provide u a good environment according to the score . Further if u have any query u can mail me Good luck 👍
