Beautiful flight and scenery, I love it there. Some years ago I failsafed by that big cell tower at 1:50 in your video. It might have been the first time that GPS rescue worked for me without just being a test on my part.
Thanks. Yes, this place is beautiful. I too noticed the signal was getting weak around that point and had to fly higher than I would have liked. That’s why I didn’t call this video mountain surfing. The parking lot before the end of Lake Drive would have been a better spot to fly from than the one at the end of the drive, which is where I took off from.
