- Hunt: Showdown gameplay with Sparks Sniper. All games are Solo vs Trios. I am extract camping with poison and concertina traps.
Disclaimer: I do not think I'm better than any of the players in this video. I am just trying to have fun and make an entertaining video.

I get a lot of trash talk after dying when playing solo that I never experience after losing in a team. I don’t even play much differently when solo - just a bit quicker, a bit quieter, a bit more selective about my fights and bit more ready to gtfo when things aren’t working out.
Still, I’ll end up going down after a pitched battle with a team and, about once every other day, some guy is there to talk shit.
I think it’s just a kind of resentment for the anxiety of not wanting to be embarrassed by losing a 2/3v1. When they win, they don’t get the same satisfaction because they were at a significant advantage to being with, so they overcompensate with insults to kind of take out that dissatisfaction on the solo player that made them feel nervous about losing, and deprived them of a feeling of superiority when winning.

Nah, for some people that maybe it, but overall solos who play really quiet are now lumped in with the "rats". To think that rats aren't hated, and for good reason, is ridiculous lol blame rats/ reserved solo snipers for giving solos a bad rep. Most people find their gameplay style incredibly boring. They want a good adrenaline filled fight, not hide and seek.
@@mogbp7775 Hey it's in the game for a reason, I rarely snipe, even though I play exclusively solo, but still, I get it. Sniping can be fun for some people. I some times run a full stealth build and just slowly explore the map, chilling, if other players have a problem with that, too bad, I'm allowed to play my game how ever I find fun, not how ever they find fun.
This guy's like the boogeyman of Hunt: Showdown - you never know when he's going to strike, but when he does, you're in for a world of hurt.

Awesome stuff. I just recently bought Hunt. I am a solo rat and love it. If you can't stand the heat get out of the Hunt.
everyone can play how they want, although afk waiting at extract is scummy, you do you tho.

and this is why I always use the boat/carriage to block enemy sightlines at extract.
I'm honestly surprised more people don't do it.
(also why I always bring the "see traps through walls" perk)

I think playing like a rat is fair enough.
It definitely delivers another playstyle. You set up traps, use map knowledge on a wide area to maximize opportunity to take shots which involve (arguably less) mechanical skill. I'm sure getting the picks and especially the last kill gives you a rush, just like with fast paced gameplay. It's almost like a different game mode and with more distinguished roles. I suppose a problem and why people tend to hate on rat tactics is because it is unfair for whoever came out on top the objective and first fights to be faced against a team who decided to only fight the weakened and not on guard team.
At the end of the day nobody owes you a playstyle so might as well suck it up and be prepared for rats. It's not like you don't get hate regardless of how you play.
I mean yeah pretty much thats just how it is in this game expect people playing like rats and not fight in actual fire fights like most would tho i never do it because im always going after the thrill of it but then i encountered a solo who play like that it was a short fire fight and immediately get oneshoted by that one dude and their sparks tho granted it wasnt fun playing like that but i mean what can you do really

I hate solo rat¡ they should all play together on a private server for solo players . Separate teams and solo
If you are losing to someone who is solo then they are not the problem.

What do you do for 40 minutes when everyone else is playing the game? I would not have the patience to wait that long.
You don't have to wait long honestly. Sometimes, like in the last clip, you are actually rushing to get the traps down because a team is already on their way.
Think it’s sadder bud ur team got killed but a solo. 😂 love to see it. Especially as a mostly solo player. Like dmz I like the lone wolf approach u can take

It's amazing to me how toxic these players get, it's not great for attempting to onboard new players.
Here's a safe place for this advert. I'm a console player, always played with a principle not to die. Anyone who shares this principle and would like to trap the hell out the extracts with me is welcome. I'd love to play a trapper team with someone! I have a buddy who is great at Hunt and traps with me but he's a gunslinger at heart. I need another trappin sniper to play with

So this is where the rats congregate. Came here from the comment section of one of Neenoh's videos... to go from playing like a badass like Neenoh/ Rachta/ Psychoghost, then to this... oof. Great for content, I guess. Not sure why ya'll are so surprised when you get shit talked, everyone knows rats/ non-aggressive snipers are not liked in hunt. If I were to play like that I would definitely expect that kinda talk. Comes with the territory, shit aint free.
It's not really fair to compare my old video to the three biggest Hunt creators who have played this game for thousands of hours more than me. I made this video when I had less than 200 subscribers. One of those creators you mentioned has over 100,000 subs.
Also, I have never been surprised about the shit talk. I included it because I thought it was funny, not shocking. I play this game for my own enjoyment and I don't care if my opponents don't like it. I play for myself, not for them.

I swear to god NA players are easy to play against, i recently had to go over there for a while so when i had some time i decided to play a bit of hunt and my god the diference from EU to NA is night and day.
Hate to see it, but they should have scanned their exit for enemies (first clip). They should have found you and killed you. So technically its their fault. But at the same time rat gameplay is so low tier skill level.
Rat tactic is the only tactic
