There’s harmonics in certain areas on the fretboard. Some are more pronounced then others. You need to barely touch the string and pluck. but it’s important to do it exactly between the frets (directly over the metal fret in between notes)
thank you!! i use a dual mic setup and apply a little bit of EQ and reverb. but the recording/playing itself has to sound clean, because all the editing in the world can’t turn a bad recording into clean audio. hope that helps!
@@feel_empty-ns4rh you tune down some of the strings to the notes that make up a g chord, to do this you tune down the E string to a D, the A string down to a G, the strings D, G and B you leave and the e string down to a D.
thanks Michael! natural harmonics are usually played at the 5, 7, and 12 fret. i very lightly place my finger on the string at one of those spots (but don’t actually press down to the fretboard like you would when playing a regular note) and when i pluck with my right hand, i quickly release my left hand off the string. that’s how i get it to sound like that. hope that helps!

Harmonics are very action based, you want to create as much action in as little time, pull off the harmonic as you pluck.
