Wishmaster (Álbum)
Wishmaster es el tercer álbum del grupo finlandés Nightwish y fue lanzado el año 2000.
Este disco se caracterizó por ser el que los hizo conocidos en toda Europa por sus fuertes riffs, magníficos y complicados solos de guitarra, poderosa batería, excelente y claro sonido del bajo y también por su apoyo orquestal y la voz de Tarja Turunen, vocalista soprano del grupo.
El disco posee varias canciones pertenecientes al Power metal como es el caso de Wishmaster (inspirada en los libros de Tolkien y las novelas de Dragonlance) y She is My Sin, destacable obra maestra de la banda. Dato curioso es que el tema Dead Boy's Poem se llamó originalmente "Long-Forgotten"1 y que FantasMic trata sobre las películas animadas de Disney.

Entonces somos tres ;_; este Nightwish es parte de mi vida y nunca lo voy a dejar ir. No importa que haga Nw ahora ya no es lo mismo, a todo lo siento sobrecargado y presuntuoso. Tarja con su carrera solista lleno bastante ese agujero de nostalgia y mas aun con sus ultimas creaciones.
@@Metallwish Jajajaja, a mi me costó mucho digerir la salida de Tarja, pero al final acepté a Anette, que siendo objetivos, musicalmente los dos discos con ella sobre todo Imaginaerum, son buenos. Respecto al disco con Floor pues no te sientas mal porque a nadie le gustó ese disco 😂 no hay como defenderlo por más que ame a Floor.

speaking of Annete, i saw a clip of her in rehearsal of romanticide with NW, in preparation for a world tour and she was good...Marco, however was sitting and enjoying a drink while the sound of bass was wailing away which made me wonder if they employ prerecorded bass tracks in their live performances
If I'm not wrong the gig was @ Paradiso venue. I watched the concert online. It was live streamed and I could watch it w/ 256kbps adsl modem. I was disappointed with the Century Child album (I'm a Oceanboen die-hard fan) but next morning, after watching this show, I bought a ticket for the following gig held in Barcelona. I was lucky cos it was sold-out. Btw... the supporting band was After Forever!

@@lincolndanijela3694 actually, she spoke of doing a solo project, (as they all were planning)because her requests for musical input into Tuomas's productions were being ignored..moreover, her feelings of being treated like a guest performer instead of one of the original co-founders were further justified by the fact that the guys were planning tour dates without her input, boozing, smoking partying, affording her no privacy(as the only woman in the band ) and the entire came to a head when her manager put her concerns in stark terms..and in order to cover his behind Tuomsas published a letter accusing her of being a diva when the evidence show that , in fact, he is the diva with many wide mood swings

The thing with Tarja (thos past days, i'm not talking about today) is that you can feel that she's not forcing, she's not screaming. It's natural and it's fluid. Flawless.

@@xeleelex146 Of course some Floor's fans say that about every performance. While I think Tarja is very emotional and artistic performer. I don't want to bash Floor, but some of her fans are very toxic. Nowadays when I see insulting comments about Anette, it's always Floor's fans. Certainly the most zealous Tarja's fans left the band and never returned (and Anette brought new fans who liked the more rock vocals approach). Also, I don't think angry Nightwish fans - who stayed with the band nevertheless - tried to promote Tarja: they just thought Nightwish went wrong direction: it didn't sound like Nightwish any more. Really, I don't think the angry Nightwish fans would have been happy with ANY singer, and thought being angry and rebellious would get Tarja back.
Tarjas first part always gives me goosebumps! A very emotional song!

Operatic vocals and deep emotion, one of my favorite songs from the Wishmaster album. It's the videos that make us NW fans again, something we've almost forgotten in recent years with the mediocre albums they've given us. Those years with Tarja are something that we will keep going back to in the past to get our dose to continue to love this band to this day. Thank you my friend for this beautiful video!!!!!❤
It was in my early twenties. One of my best friends had two CD`s of Nightwish in his car. We got drunk and I deeply fell in love with this song and it was always with me. Still... I was never crazy for their music. I do not know exactly why. Maybe because I had a very different taste in music when I was younger. Maybe because Tarja was also different in the past. She develloped into a brilliant singer since than. I love her and I love who she became. So... today everything is different and she is my absolutely favorite singer. :-)
Same story even me :) They are me all time favorite band... There is no others like them ... I saw them live for the first time in Bulgaria in 2016 with Floor in vocal. I cried that day. It was unbeliveable. But my biggest dream is to see them with Tarja

Ah, I forgot this video! This is one of my fav songs from Tarja. Obviously she had more experience singing this than 2000 From Wishes to Eternity, and her vocal education had continued. But the video quality is not so good, so the Tampere concert is still what people watch, and what is reacted to. It is a bit different.

@@Aurinkohirvi yah, from 1997 to 2033 or 2004 she was a mezzo and by 2004 she went into a mid range soprano with that marvellous darker nuanced voice..today she deeps a bit into lower range but not nearly as much as the very early years
