Well, that was probably because most people missed the Gavin death that bumped it to #4. Since they messed up the count, the editor probably just said "Fuck it" and went with what was being said instead of the actual count.
Really, the count should have been two more than it was, because of the Gavin lava death at the beginning. Unless you're being sensible and using an engineering scale, that is.

I don't understand people complaining about them "running out of ideas" or "just doing a big let's build." Why do you any of you care at all what they're doing? It's been years but this is still my favorite 3 minecraft episodes. I put it on like how people put on the office in the background. It's also great for listening to when I can't sleep. The sound of conversation is great to sleep to.

I bet this Let's Play idea came from Geoff and Gavin's constant complaining about being underappreciated by the rest of AH not caring about the work they put into the builds, so they decided to make everyone build something for once :P

I loved this Lets Play, just because of how chill and relaxing it was. There wasn't a whole lot of screaming or crazy things going on, it was a very cool video where both lads and gents played and had fun:) I'm in a chill mood and this video just made my night! Reminds me of Hit List i believe, because that was a chill lets play too:) thanks AH, really enjoy these kinds of LPs!
I agree. Can we plz just have more "the guys actually play minecraft" let's plays? Personally I love the lets builds almost more than the lets plays at this point.

Kevin Petty yes:) It's really fun to just sit back and play minecraft when you're not competing against each other and when you don't have to really...be put under pressure by a time limit of objective to win for a whole week, you can just sit back and play. IN a recent lets build Geoff even mentioned that he sat down with Millie and played Minecraft for the first time (actually just playing it) and it was really fun. :) sometimes you forget how much fun the game is when you're too busy building and competing :)
SPOILER ALERT: Geoff wins. Jk, they really should do more LPs like this. Very chill, not arguing with each other, just shooting the shit and being funny. Like Let's Play FUEL.

This is quickly becoming one of my favourite Let's Plays. Them just being chill and playing Minecraft - The Game, instead of some giant challenge, is really enjoyable. Just the lads having a lovely little time.
But that's Minecraft! It's coming up with a project or a build to do, and mining the supplies to make it. Their project just happens to be a giant square. But what they're doing, in my opinion, is the heart and soul of Minecraft.

What Ryan said at 12:36, "Can we have a sign that says, you know, 'X days without injury'?" gave me a great idea for a Let's Play. It would be like " ___ Days without Injury" where the guys all try their best not to get injured in the slightest. Those that do get the job of going out and trying to injure the other people that haven't been injured yet.
It'd probably take some good ol' Geoff magic to make it work and not take 50 hours to do, but it might be an interesting thing.
It would be like, gavin dying in the first couple kf minutes and spending the rest of the time dying trying to kill the rest.

I don't think that math's right. They recorded for an hourish, which means 60 (minutes) * 6 (files of footage) = 360 minutes brought down to 35.

Am I the only one who would genuinely enjoy a Mr Bucket Let's Play? Like, Gavin, Geoff, Ray, and Michael.
I really don't get why anybody is mad or disappointed about this. Is it cause they aren't competing? It's still them, it's still Minecraft, and Let's Build is them building Let's Plays. Brats.
i actually liked it a lot. One because it reminds me of their first few lets plays where it was just them trying to survive and build shit, and two because its like a lets play... only with everyone instead of just geoff gavin, the occasional ryan, and the rare jack micheal or ray.
I tend to like these kind of lets plays, and the adventure ones (where they go to find a stronghold, or tame horses) alot more then just the competitions.
Woah hold on! at around 10:31 it shows Michaels screen when he's above ground looking at melons and Ray is standing in his view, but seconds later it switches to Ray's screen showing that he's down underground?? While they're still talking about the same thing which would make it unlikely that there was a huge cut...

Starting this episode gets me excited for the whole Pubert Addams saga
this is one of my all time favorite let's plays. it's the perfect blend of casual conversation and on screen action. little competition, lots of laughs. I wish they did more of these (and with less sad connotation-looking at you, flip that house.)

I actually like Let's Plays like this. People say that AH should have their own podcast, but Let's Play's like this kinda fill that void, I feel.
I like this Let's Play because it's like going back to basics with what got them started. Just mining stuff and building things for fun. This brings me back :)

People keep complaining but really, wouldn't collecting materials and building structures count as PLAYING Minecraft? In Let's Builds Geoff and Gav are using creative mode to be fast, but in this case they are all working together to efficiently build a large structure by playing the game as it was originally intended...
This really is one of the best Let's Play's they'd done, even after 5+ years and me not having watched anything after 2015, I can still come back to this video and laugh so damn hard at jokes I'm sure I've heard dozens of times. I miss old Achievement Hunter and Let's Play, maybe I should try from where I left off 🤔
