It's nice that Minamo was looking out for her best friend Nana in trying to convince her to break up with her womanizing boyfriend Nakajima and it's sweet that Minato was willing to help her out without knowing the all situation and it's cute that they ended up getting together after that. 🥰

I actually don't know how I feel about this story. The sister fully intended for her brother to get with her friend who is in an abusive relationship, And normally i'd be more Sympathetic, but in the story, it's explained that she has a history of choosing abusive partners and she is the one who stays. To add to that in this story, she got close with the brother without even telling him the situation as well. So I feel like it's a bit misleading, but it ended happy so i guess thats what matters.
Personally, I would feel more informative if someone told me the situation from the get-go...
You are correct my friend. This girl has a pattern of a damaged woman, despite being in college and being for better or worse independent(supposed to be) she is actually lacking in that thing. This behavior is common psychological problem with some women. Usually it's advised for women like her to go through therapy first and start relationship after because they tend to either create abusive situations or seek them. Also if girl like her finds normal relationships eventually they cause cheating accident or create a fallout that either make you abusive or create a separation in order to continue their damaged behavior.
This is usually created by abusive father or fatherless households btw.

I believe there is a deeper, personal problem at play in this story that was not fully explored in the episode. It seems likely that this girl has unresolved issues from her childhood, which could be contributing to her problematic relationships.

The sister seems like the type that gets herself into situations she can't handle. Threatening a man that you'll be the hell out of them is a one waybticket to a hospital if the guy is hot headed with no impulse control. 😅
I think I believe her threat. She may or may not be able to physically harm that guy, but I can certainly believe that she would be able to pull around enough other muscle to go after him.
Idk who wrote this, but they did really well. As always, I'd like to see more of a portrayal of their love life and them getting along, but that can be a lot more writing. I appreciate the story ending where the two actually get together in a healthy manner, and they turn into an adorable couple. Many of these stories don't because they end before the couple can become a thing, or they skirt the line of what's ok, causing the whole story to feel... gross. This one was a healthy relationship between two consenting adults who seemed to have a few things in common and found joy in doing those things together despite their otherwise mundane (at least from MC's perspective) college or office life.
If the writers are seeing this, though, it would be great to see more scenes from both perspectives rather than having the bomb of the abusive boyfriend dropped on us after a whole bunch of scenes just focusing on the MC, his thoughts, and how the relationship progresses in his eyes. I mean, a relationship requires two people, right? We should at least get something from FMC, no? I thought FMC was homeless, hinted at by the fact she had little money and didn't feel uncomfortable being outside on the streets alone at night. Why can't we see her being abused? We need to have a reason to hate the boyfriend as the antagonist, and we all know the "show don't tell" part of writing. We don't see our antagonist until the very end, at the very least we should have a scene or two of him being a creep and somehow finding out about the relationship and where the MC lives so he could barge in. Because that was missing, that whole plotpoint becomes goofy, and his being the villain doesn't come off right. The rest of the characterization was so strong that you just need to add that one last push. Or, remove the current boyfriend altogether and make it an abusive family life she had to run away from, having to sleep on her friend's couches, causing her to pay everyone back for their kindness through cooking meals, which is why she works so hard at it as is such a good chef. It would be a great explanation for the use of the "girl is just so amazing at cooking and wants to do it to impress people" trope. It adds some weight because it can add to the fact that she's been made to feel useless in everything else that this is her one out, her one way to not only be but feel accepted.
The audience needs more context as to what's going on, even if the characters don't fully understand everything. If you didn't want to include the boyfriend until later in the story, how about a scene with the two FMCs sitting in Fujiwara's room, the other one bawling with a bruise on her body because of what the boyfriend did, Fujiwara demanding she break up with him. Fujiwara could say something like, "Look, there are good men out there, I've been trying to show you! How about my brother!? What keeps you with that creep you call a boyfriend!?" It puts the writer in the perfect position to give some more context as to why FMC doesn't break up with her abuser. Stockholm syndrome, the thrill of attempting to win him over despite his abuse, simple lack of confidence, to name a few reasons. Then you flashback to a few hours ago, showing the scene where she got the bruise. Maybe she was cooking dinner for him. We get some dialogue with her, thinking to herself that making his favorite meal will definitely do the trick. We can _see_ her perspective is too far gone. As she's finishing up and setting the table, he barges in, half-drunk and hanging on the arm of some other woman. FMC and new lady lock eyes and FMC gives a look of disgust and malcontent and simply says "oh. I didn't make enough for three." She gets brushed off but tries to retaliate, and because the boyfriend is such a prick, he easily overpowers her, throwing her out saying,"Well, it's perfect you made enough for two! Don't come home tonight." End flashback, we get a short scene of FMC realizing her true feelings for MC and realizing she wants to have Fuji forever as both a friend and a sister-in-law in lieu of her understanding just how badly she's been treated and just how badly she wanted it to end so she could be happy and feel like she's wanted. She starts remembering all the praise MC has genuinely given her, the fact he doesn't act disingenuous around her, and the fact he actually made her feel comfortable from the getgo whether that was the intent or not. He's a genuine guy. She looks at a smiling Fujiawara, who's smiling for her sake, obviously trying to put up a front to keep FMC comfortable despite the rage Fuji must be feeling seeing her friend like this. We might even see another flashback before the story where Fujiwara was pushing a slightly unwilling FMC to meet her brother, how she felt kind of excited but wrong to act like her abuser by meeting this boy with intent to get to know him and maybe... date him? She would be cheating. Wouldn't that be stooping to the level of her abuser? She might say as much, Fujiwara responding with a sly "oh come on, just try it out once... for me? If you still don't like it or him afterward, I won't make you do it again." End flashback, we get an acknowledgment that FMC has feelings for MC and loves her friend for trying so hard to make her comfortable. She now understands that despite her constant abuse, she has found a clan that will take her for who she is and _want_ her. Not because of her body, her submissivness, or whatever other twisted things her boyfriend "wants" her for. She's certainly not wanted for free meals that she can't even enjoy, instead being given to some filthy other woman. She's wanted because she's one of them. She changes clothes to hide the bruise, washes off her tears, and looks at the time. She wasn't planning on it necessarily, but this is a great time to head over to MC's house and prepare him dinner, just as she had been for the past few days. This time, she intends to enjoy the labor of her love with someone she really does love. It would be a funny twist of fate if she'd make the same thing since MC and boyfriend's favorite meals were the same, but the circumstances are just so different that she begins to understand that she has a type. If that happens, she might come to understand there are some things that she can't control, but what she can control is how she goes about finding the healthier option for her in situations such as these. It gives her a huge boost of confidence in herself, making her feel more independent in the choices she makes.
Looking over, FMC sees Fujiwara leaning on the doorway to the bathroom with a sly look on her face. FMC can tell Fujiwara knows what she's thinking. Before she can say anything, Fujiwara says, "If you don't go, I'm throwing you out." The two girls share a laugh at the lighthearted (but maybe serious?) jab and maybe get dialogue about Fujiwara's perspective on all this, then FMC heads over.
Now that I think about it, this would be the perfect time to add in that stalker boyfriend scene I had mentioned before. He's already shown to be a creeper, womanizer, and abusive, so let's drive that nail in his proverbial villain coffin by making him possessive. He was coming toward Fujiwara's house to confront FMC and Fujiwara and had just shown up to come "pick her up." Of course, the explanation for why he'd just now arrived is that he had just had FMC's dinner with his girltoy, and she had only recently gone to bed. FMC walks alone out of Fujiwara's house but takes a different route than to come back to his. She's going to MC's house, but he doesn't know that. Who does she think she is, not running back to him!? Boyfriend gets curious and decides to stalk close behind, only for her to show up at some house he'd never seen. From his perspective, we see her enter, but we can't quite make out the figure in the doorway with her. We see him wait impatiently, biding his time a bit to gather information. When she takes her sweet time coming out, he peeks inside the window just to see FMC and MC enjoying themselves eating dinner/washing up. Then, we get the scene with the boyfriend as well as the rest of the video.
All of this extra context, which amounts to 2-4 extra scenes and maybe 5 minutes of video runtime, makes the whole story a lot stronger. Keep that in mind when writing future stories... again, if the author even sees this. There's obvious potential there, but it's just not quite enough. Still, what we got was a nice breath of fresh air, especially in comparison to some of the less satisfactory or gross stories I've seen dubbed over. Please keep up your writing. Those skills can only improve if you do! I only mentioned one way of adding the proper context to the story to make it a more fabulous romcom. There are plenty of other ways, especially if runtime is a problem. Have a good day y'all, cheers!

I dont know... this could be lack of experience speaking but I feel like under the right circumstances a truly stable partner who makes you smile can help soothe the trauma, so long as said partner capable and willing to be there for it.

I really liked all the voice actors in this episode.
I have mixed opinions about this. I am very happy that they got together in the end, but...
1)When the sister said "Because you would see Nana as a pitiful girl and wouldn't see her as a normal girl" to excuse hiding the toxic relationship, I have to ask what kind of backwards leap in logic did she take for that to make sense. And how low is her opinion of her brother that she believes he pity her instead of helping her like a decent human being. Seriously, telling him from the getgo would've been more effective.
2) They really shouldn't have gotten together so soon after her getting out of a toxic relationship. Considering the trauma involved, she should really see some sort of therapist or counselor.

Women with abusive exes tend to project the previous guy on her new guy and bring a bunch of drama into their future relationships. Plus if they smashed then her pair bonding will be damaged too. Either way, not worth it imo.

Yup, this woman has to go through therapy. She is damaged, people don't know this much but that is actually a common case among many women and some men. To tell you the truth, they are also those women who shit on good guys eventually, they might start to cheat or eventually cause a fallout in order to return to their usual abusive partner relationships if they won't undergo a therapy.
These mangas sadly do not understand that it's not about she was unlucky, she subconsciously chose this partner and subconsciously stayed with him. In most cases a normal good guy will not heal her, therapy only. These girls are damaged and require medical attention and only after that they can somehow start normal relationships.

You're not gonna to believe what happened to that fool Nakajima afterwards, well after Nana broke up with that fool Nakajima, the rumors about him for being not just a womanizer but also violent towards Nana spreads, the girls he cheated with found out what kind of person he really was and avoided him like he's some kind of plague. When he found out that Minato and Nana going out on a date now, he began stalking them to ambush them but failed when Mimano sabotage his plans and threatened him that she'll call the police if he comes near them ever again. Nakajima tries to make a move on a beautiful girl who's sitting on a bench but she rejected him, but he refuses to accept getting rejected and tries to grab her by force but then her muscular boyfriend appears behind him and grab him saying to him what is he doing to his girl. Looking at his tattoos, it turns out that her boyfriend is a former son of the yakuza boss so he sends his guards to their van and never to be seen again and punishment is yet unknown.
He got amputated on the lower body and forced to work in a sweat shop. His brain is also scrambled. He is no longer the same guy he used to be, he is now a lifeless being just working until midnight.

I had a friend with similar situation. Unfortunately her boyfriend ended her life. It’s serious problem, I’m happy for the girl to get out of horrible situation like that.
I don't like how the sister gave him permission to date her best friend, like dude you know you're brother. If you know who he is as a person, you didn't need to give him a warning about making your best friend cry. This just shows she doesn't fully believe in him.
That's actually very normal when it comes to siblings, at least for Americans. We trust each other as far as familial matters go (until we're betrayed) but we're wary when introducing a friend to each other.

y, even WITH the assistance of Google Maps. I cannot believe the audacity of your series of dumpster fire statements. Do you all even KNOW how abusive homes work? I do, because I have not only seen them, but I have also been in one myself, and the abuse that happens there is not unlike the gaslighting and extortion that other types of criminals use to keep people in line. All of that eventually pretty much creates a Stockholm Syndrome kind of situation, not unlike the criminals that I had mentioned, but also how scummy cults, including those of Atheists, Agnostics, Humanists, and all of their related ilk, all use on people. Basically, the gang phrase, "Blood In, Blood Out", is how all of those sorts of people, as well as abusers, work. Yes, the people that are being abused are broken, but to abandon someone like Nana, someone that is clearly in need of deprogramming from toxic people in her life (which I also suspect comes from her being in a family that has an abundance of abusive homes throughout its generations, as was the case in my house, as well as those that were of my oldest sister, my other older sister, my niece, my nephew, my late cousin, and my late cousin's wife), well, that is the completely wrong path to take. A person only operates based on what they know in their lives. Imprinting has a lot to do with shaping the future of a person in their lives. Yes, they could also have some deeper underlying, as well as undiagnosed, issues, which may, or may not, also be genetic (I have some of them myself), but they also do not necessarily indicate that a person is going to be abusive or to be abused, rather, it is how a person that is raised as to how they will become in their lives. The cycle of abuse can be broken, and a person can also change their behavior in their lives.
I don't know about anyone else, but "Don't ask about _____'s situation" translates to "This could escalate to significant violence, and I don't want *you* escalating it the moment I hang up/walk away" quite handily.

We're in the 21st century already dude and finding a virgin girl or guy is very rare specially the above average to good looking ones.
Just like some guys lost their Vcard 15 years old or younger(lost mine when I was 15 with an older girlfriend) I started not to care about such a thing.
As long as both sides are honest and faithful with each other that's perfectly fine IMHO. Also based on my experience, an experienced gf is much better than an inexperienced one.
The only thing I worry is the body count. There are also a lot of women who are experienced but still are good girlfriend material.

Somehow, I think Nakajima did the best thing, splitting from Nana...otherwise, Minamo probably would have knocked the living daylights out of him....especially since he was already going the route of domestic abuse, party of 1. Now that Minato and Nana were dating...and living together..Minamo had both a BFF and sister in law rolled into one. Great VOAs and story, although hiding the issue wasn't entirely the best approach...but, it did work overall. 😊❤❤
