Man i remember when this game came out thinking the graphics were so extremely realistic, but looking back at it now, characters move around reaaally stiff. But i liked the mechanic of holding your PS4 controller still, when they would add jumpscares so you would shake and actually lose a character, such a good release back then.

The best-looking games that year were COD: Advanced Warfare, TLOS Remastered (not the remakes made after 2020, I'm talking about the 2014 PS4 remaster), and Far Cry 4. Just 4 years apart in 2018, we had Spider-Man, RDR2, and GOW. Every 2-4 years, graphics get a huge overhaul on their general appearance, giving games that really aren't that old a retro feel due to how quickly technology is advancing now.
The don’t move is my least favorite QTE in any game ever, I used to set the controller down as fast as I could when it popped up so that I didn’t accidentally sway and kill someone. I much prefer the thumb stick version in the new game lol

The thing about blanks is that they can still kill if they are in close range, like when the guy went to shoot himself he would've killed himself. It is how Brandon Lee died o n the set of The Crow, well it was a dummy bullet, but it still killed him.

Mike was my absolute fav character, as I hated him in the beginning, and then he just becomes a complete fkin badass by the end. Really great growth for his character. Tho I do love Sam as a character too, as I always had a crush on Hayden Panettiere ever since I watched the TV Show Heroes as a kid (and many more times since then), and Sam is just great.
This was such a good game. I remember getting for free and my ex and I played it instead of our movie nights for a couple weeks. Glad to see it getting love in 2024 😊
Actually it's easier if in the first playthrough kill off all characters while seeing the trophy list at 1st because some have to go in a specific way such as Chris, Ashley, Emily and for Josh don't find Hannan and Beth's belongings in the final chapter. With Jessica choose to run instead of hide in order for the wendigo to spot you. Barricade the sanctuary door to save the wolf, cut off Mike's fingers, Chris chose to shoot Ashley, Mike shot Emily after she got bitten by the wendigo (go straight up don't change lanes miss one QTE in the destroying machine). In the end just make Sam has to move twice. Also after ''everyone dies ending'' you can instantly replay the final chapter hide twice with Jessica and do the Instant Inferno with Sam, this way you will get the other two silver trophies almost instantly.
The same developer made Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology, and The Quarry. Supermassive Games. Ballistic Moon just handled the PS5 Remake/Remaster version.

I platinumed this game almost a year ago. I was so close to getting it on Halloween. But i fucked up the "kill everyone/no survivors" trophy and it was really late and since I had to play through the entire last chapter again which I didn't feel like doing at the time
Also, second comment. You should do a "Save everyone" & "Collect all collectibles" on your first playthrough. Because you can do a "kill everyone" playthrough starting from chapter 6 so you won't have to play through the game all over
I say the game has nothing to do with Telltale games. More like Quantic Dream Games like Fahrenheit and Heavy Rain as first of its kind. Fahrenheit, Heavy Rain, beyond two souls and Detroit are super easy and well made as well fyi 🙌❤️
