This song, and video, is proof positive that Deftones are _still_ WAY beyond all the "nu metal" bands that rose up in the 90s. This song is dead sexy. I mean...fucking hell, can a riff BE more sensual? I love the off-kilter rhythms throughout the whole song...and I *LOVE* the pre-chorus with that ascending synth riff. It just sounds _so_ primal and sexy and dangerous. This is what heavy guitar-based music _can_ be. The hypnotic rhythm and groove, coupled with the lyrical themes of sexuality has stuck with me till date, will be one of the best Deftones songs ever for me, especially coming from a sexually conservative family and this song has served as a great gateway for their brilliant music.
