Say no more my friend, say no more.
that first guy wanted to give her a James Bond slap and call her a 'silly woman' .. he was pissed
Happier times when pubs were pubs and there was time to enjoy such pleasures.
You mean full of older guys spending all their families earnings while the wife was stuck at home with the kids with no money to feed them correctly because the husband is pissing it all away in the ale house lol
@@marklola12 No that's not what I mean.
@@marklola12 Lordy, you sound a bundle of fun. What's your nickname, Chuckles??
and they closed at 3 and opened again and closed again
This was common 10 years ago, the only differences these days is we are in continuous lock down and start drinking at 9:00 a.m.
Plowmann's lunch? Shepards pie? Those all sound a lot better than mc donalds or pot noodle that so many eat today
It’s like meeting the workforce of British Leyland mid week.
ooof, nuked from orbit
SPOT ON🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Brilliant video - happier times thanks for the upload
Never been able to have a lunchtime drink and go back to work, just destroys me for the day.
Same - has to be before bed 🍺
I used to work in the copier/fax business when it was all booming in the 80s. I remember going out one lunchtime with a few of the older guys and then coming back and seeing one of them setting fire to his desk as he was bored.
Ah the good old days...
Reporter gets stuck into his lager and blackcurrant! Couldn't see that happening these days. Health & Safety
Well i dont work so it doesnt do me any harm ..LOL
Best team I ever worked with, we had our team meetings in the pub. Jobs all done no bitching or backstabbing all got on brilliantly.
Unfortunately in 1978 I was far too busy with my school and Airfix plastic models. However, have had my fair share of beer drinking after that.
"Are you ever tired bad tempered and irritable in the afternoon" Only when i speak to people like you....
I have five pints of Stella and a packet of McCoy's for lunch. Never done me any harm
Lightweight!..........☝😑......🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
This was the year and country of my birth, the world seems different......
Interesting video. Different times
Pie and chips and a couple of pints for lunch most days in the 70s and 80s. Never felt bad in the afternoon
I worked in an office in the 80’s and the managers often went to the pub lunchtimes. They came back half-cut and then smoked a few cigs in the office - different times for sure.
I work in insurance in The City and it's nothing like that now, for a start we don't drink larger and black it's mainly wine and Ploughman's Lunches and Shepherd's Pie is now replaced by steaks and Curry's more often than not.
Your spelling, grammar and general underwhelming grasp of English leads me to doubt all of what you've said. Or you were pissed when you typed it. Or perhaps both?
@@TrueBrit1 If you are what your name claims you would be able to see I haven't spelt anything wrong and no grammatical errors are in my post, unlike yours which uses "leads" rather than the grammatically correct "lead"
@@peteri8924larger is spelt lager you twit
And yes loads of grammatical errors!
Your comment about leads isn’t correct either
I agree with the first guy :)
..traditional liquid lunch...😉
“I’m smoking as well” 😅
Our boss never let us have a lunchtime drink! So we just went on a Saturday after work finished!
Happy days!
What a patronising interviewer, I'd tell her to mind her own business
Not really it’s just of its time
I couldn’t drink like that !!
Nice photo
Liam Quinn Thank You !
Bloody hell - it’s J Edgar Hoover..
Shepherd's Pie, Potatoes, Peas, Carrots, two pints of lager and back in the van for some drunk driving in the afternoon. Ahh the 70s.
I can't with the hairstyles but at least nobody wore wig😂
I would be so annoyed by the way she asks the question. Pretty sure a pie and a pint is a human right...
N. B. 'Looks like a large ribena' 😂 lol
No, that's a "Pint and a fight; a great British night"!
Thankfully it's much less common these days than it was then. Some people just over indulge in other ways now.
@@zeddeka Not on my home town its not. Alcohol fuelled violence is very, very common, especially weekends.
3rd guy looking at her wondering why she's not at home minding the kids
and after that it was all down hill
01:54 Christ! she's been talking to my wife.
👍😎🤓👍🤘
The Pie Police.
Nowt like a liquid lunch 😂
interfering old bat
A martini shaken not stirred......
What nonsense is this? Everybody knows drinking wasn't bad for you in the 70s
First guy was stuck up and peed off and pretty deluded too haha though many about health were back then
@but ton Even though people smoked like fuck, even on TV lol less junk food back then so less people kicking about that looked like you could roll them down the street like barrels of beer, everywhere now, hence the impending fat tax..
Arrogant and rude.
