It’s a collector car, 99% of people who got one are just gonna keep it in their garage with their 50 other cars but this guy’s driving it like it’s his daily. Not to mention driving its value down. I love Chevy and Ford but gotta respect how Dodge sacrifices aerodynamics to keep the classic look of a muscle car while still outperforming the other big 2. The only true modern day muscle car.

I know that people hate on them because they look outdated and stuff, but to me atleast, when you actually get in and drive a scat pack, hellcat and or demon, you forget their looks due to their performance. For them being heavy cars, they will easily bring a smile to anyone's face who love the sounds of v8s. Dodge has always been known for their muscle cars where as Ford and Chevy turned the Camaro and mustang into sports cars. Dodge deserves respect for the amount of work they put in to make their customers happy. Especially since ford and Chevy have to compete against them

@dimmacommunication it's because of the drag radials aren't meant for higher speeds and they are known to come apart... so to limit the liability for dodge they govern the car to 150mph....

The Viper is discontinued, but still is considered one of the best track cars ever produced in America. 1992-2017 seems like a good run to me especially for such a niche and unique car, and let’s not pretend like they don’t perform in all aspects of racing, wether it be the street, track or strip.

My Demon 170 tops out @ 152 mph. I own a GT500 CFTP as well, the GT500 can be cranked up to 1000 rwhp easily. Both cars need to be stock for a fair comparison, keep in mind you can turn up the Demon as well.

On a 60 roll that’s right up the hellcat’s wheel house…straight line rolling speed. Do a 1/4 mile or what car and driver does with the 1/4 in there, full stop, and turn and 1/4 again. Shows everything what the car can do
Those GT500s are right up there with the Porsche GT3 RS for one of the best all around cars out there

Demon weighs 4200 lbs, runs pretty good for that. Close race between the GT500, thought the Demon would pull more.
Those factory lip corner protectors give it at least another 20lbs of downforce at 140mph
