What I enjoy most about watching RJ is that even when traffic starts to get dicey, he never shows any signs that he is second guessing himself. It's rare to see somebody with such a clear vision and outline of exactly what they are doing especially when surrounded by swarms of unpredictable drivers. Keep up the awesome videos man, really entertaining (and informative) to watch.
The cagers (people in cars/trucks) are so nice over there. No trash/cigarette butts being thrown at you and most of them try to give you some space. We've got one cager that tries to spray paint lane splitters as they go by. If they stop to confront him he just keeps spraying them with paint. Excellent video BTW.
There are risk takers, there are risk avoiders, and there are risk creators. You're in the latter category. Outstanding hand-eye coordination and timing; I'm impressed.
It's great when the traffic is just spaced out enough to make it look easy. Nice riding, nice sound, nice bike. Not everyone can ride like that. Thats experience.
Nice to see the "congestion charge" doing a really good job of doing what it was brought in to do and thin out the amount of traffic trying to squeeze its' way in to town.
+Clichefotos I'm a biker but the reasons are quite straightforward. 1. Aircon. It gets hot, it cools you off. It gets cold, it warms you. 2. Britain has a lot of rain 3. Safer 4. More storage 5. Carry more people 6. Don't have to bother with helmet, jacket, gloves etc.
there is something highly addictive to your videos I'm not sure if it's the noise of the bikes going up and down through the box or the weaving or "filtering" through traffic I would love to watch one of your videos in VR I reckon the experience would be 1000 x greater than the great that they already are, keep up the videos they are inspirational in their own right, and keep me inspired to keep saving for a new Road bike ( new old bike ) have you rode a exc 525 on the road ?
I love when car drivers complain about traffic and motorcyclists filtering when if just 10% of people rode bikes there would be 40% less traffic. It's their choice to be the traffic they sit and complain about.
Kal El They should stop smoking, stop eating fastfood, work out one hour a day but not much more, have a positive mindset and preferably let go of all daily stress by not having to sit in traffic or shoulder to shoulder with a smelly fat guy for 2 hours a day.
He wouldn't do that. He'd just be showing all the thieves out there where and how his bikes are stored. It would be a cool video and I am personally interested in seeing it. It's just not practical for how large his view base is
The induction sound on that bike is incredible just the faint whine getting out of super low revs/tractor mod and the guy with the panniers was really ballsy with some of those splits !!!
With those huge gaps between the traffic pretty much every bike could get through with ease. It becomes intestring when you've got to filter between two buses to get to a trafficlight
For riding in the rain, since you seem to go out in all types of weather, how is lane splitting with that central white line for traction? I've always avoided the heck out of that paint whenever it's wet, curious if you'd had any bad experiences with it.
Wow the guy with the panniers and red helmet, cringe! Hes never stopping after he takes out the side of a motor. RJ that bike is just perfect for that job. Just lovely!
The guy with the panniers didn't want to let you pass, but it's good to see you were looking out for him coming up from behind as you weaved across lanes. I know giving up gained ground can feel like you're moving backwards, but he should respect that you're better in traffic than him, given the speed you came up behind him, and let you through, it must have been obvious to him that you were faster through traffic. He probably thought you were a "stupid kid" on a bike (given how that bike looks) and wasn't going to let you through. I have to say, if I commuted in London I'd switch to a bike, it makes much more sense. Fortunately my commute is 10 - 15 minutes by car, a bike might make it 5 - 8, I'm not that precious about my time and it would be much harder to carry a ladder on a bike!
The guy with the panniers could really thread the needle. #Movegetouttheway. Every time you went pass a big rig I was looking for Morpheus to take the Key Master from you. lol
I wonder how tough it would be to obtain a license if RJ was the riding instructor, I'm sure sweeping through traffic like this is a bare minimum in his course.
There goes another year off my life, just watching that. Holy smokes .Will you please be careful. Have a nice Day...Maybe a wine after that ride...Peace...
Hey RJ! I work for TRIUMPH and I'm surprised I've never seen you on one before, even if just for a test ride! You should defo try out the new Speed Triple R, I'm sure you'd love it! Not to brag but we do make pretty good bikes :D Keep up the good work mate, you vids are awesome!
I don't quite know why its so satisfying to watch someone weave in and out of traffic like that, but it just is.
+Ahmed Abdul Perhaps it's the hundreds of hours we've spent waiting in traffic to get to appointments/work etc.
aaaaand oil change :D
Am I the only one who thinks that his old mirrors looked better? :D
No
+Barney Stinson You are Barney Stinson dude, do you really need an answer from us ?
+Miguel García i have one rule "New is always better"
+Barney Stinson This is a different bike to what RJ was testing last week.
+Barney Stinson Old mirrors looked alot better!
Traffics pretty bad huh?
RJ- "What Traffic".
HAHAHAHA
RJ purposely went out and found the most congested rode and could and destroyed it SAVAGE
I am always blown away at how smooth he filters and how people will actually sit in cars in two lanes for such a long stretch.
Quite possibly the most therapeutic thing I've ever watched that noise I utterly adore Huskys can't wait to get one in a few years
There are risk takers, there are risk avoiders, and there are risk creators. You're in the latter category. Outstanding hand-eye coordination and timing; I'm impressed.
Dont know what is but there's something very therapeutic watching u filter and hearing ur exhaust. love these vids
Always enjoy a long filtering clip. You always have such a rhythm and flow like a slalom skier!
It's great when the traffic is just spaced out enough to make it look easy. Nice riding, nice sound, nice bike. Not everyone can ride like that. Thats experience.
Dear RJ, Wonderful rider perception... beautiful to watch a Jedi Filter in work.
That was really satisfying to watch.
More like RJ - The Traffic Slayer, he can do this all day long with any of his bikes
Just love the sound of a big single with a proper exhaust!
love the sound of your bikes RJ
The camera always makes it look like your are going to smash a mirror at any second! and it ALWAYS makes me heart jump. Such skill, keep it up :)
Had to hold my breath. Man, you are a master of lanesplitting. Nice
That is some crazy amount of confidence right thur sir. It looks fast on a gopro so you know it's fast! I bet they can really hear that thing coming!
I still don't get why 49 states hate lane splitting
+Your Mother ..and 10 Provinces/ 3 Territories. Perhaps one day?
SineOccasu It's bullshit
i think its 48 now so progress i guess
Love that new outro RJ its so calming
Nice to see the "congestion charge" doing a really good job of doing what it was brought in to do and thin out the amount of traffic trying to squeeze its' way in to town.
Why London people still buy a car?...
because they got extra pair of balls too heavy to carry lol haha
+Abz Cabz BBalls for the several hours on a seat for a travel of minuts? :O
+Clichefotos I'm a biker but the reasons are quite straightforward.
1. Aircon. It gets hot, it cools you off. It gets cold, it warms you.
2. Britain has a lot of rain
3. Safer
4. More storage
5. Carry more people
6. Don't have to bother with helmet, jacket, gloves etc.
+Matteo Bassini 7. Don't have to always worry about theft especially in London
+Abz Cabz if they ride a bicycle just let the balls do the work ssme with motorcycles let one sag more to shift lol bad joke
Bonita is a strong independent supermoto who don't need no man.
+Spartan / MotoKnight Productions "MotoKnight".... *Cough* WEAK! *Cough...*
+Storm *Ba-dum-tss* XD
it's amazing how many exotic cars you spot
These mirrors look awesome!
Didn't know her name was Bonita... good girl.
there is something highly addictive to your videos I'm not sure if it's the noise of the bikes going up and down through the box or the weaving or "filtering" through traffic I would love to watch one of your videos in VR I reckon the experience would be 1000 x greater than the great that they already are, keep up the videos they are inspirational in their own right, and keep me inspired to keep saving for a new Road bike ( new old bike ) have you rode a exc 525 on the road ?
+Karl Griffiths Never road the 525, I did ride the 530 with Enduro tyres a lot on road (Morocco) and loved it.
I love when car drivers complain about traffic and motorcyclists filtering when if just 10% of people rode bikes there would be 40% less traffic. It's their choice to be the traffic they sit and complain about.
You can't put a whole family on the back of your back can you?
+V for V Do you always take your whole family with you to the office? You know you're allowed to own a bike AND a car, right?
Kal El They should stop smoking, stop eating fastfood, work out one hour a day but not much more, have a positive mindset and preferably let go of all daily stress by not having to sit in traffic or shoulder to shoulder with a smelly fat guy for 2 hours a day.
Hatagashira thats a stupid comeback what if they can only afford a car for their family
Hatagashira im not a cage driver and own a honda cbr600rr btw
Its amazing how he shoots through the traffic with the mirrors sticking out so wide
Could you make a video showing us where you keep your bikes? it would be cool to see your garaje
+Javier Martinez So you can steal it easier?
He wouldn't do that. He'd just be showing all the thieves out there where and how his bikes are stored. It would be a cool video and I am personally interested in seeing it. It's just not practical for how large his view base is
+Nathan Zeisig i mean an inside view, not showing neither the location or the security measures, only all the bikes together
I love those little throttle staggers RJ does :D
That looked like SO MUCH FUN!!
I saw your bike today at the Scottish motorcycle show, it's a beast!
The mirrors are too big.
Man, those mirrors are tiny. Is the visibility any good at all?
RJ you devil, you are just as awesome as that bike lol. Keep up the great work! You have balls of steel blazing through traffic like that haha
The induction sound on that bike is incredible just the faint whine getting out of super low revs/tractor mod and the guy with the panniers was really ballsy with some of those splits !!!
+Aussie Butters ahh is that what it is? I kept thinking it was a gear whine. Sounds cool.
Awesome agility for Bonita (I didn't know it was her name) !
And... Strange mirrors. Are they efficient ?
What mirrors are those!?
+yo53xme Vanity?
+yo53xme Rizoma Spy Q Bar End Mirrors
Copy pasted this off his website in the description
hey rj, keep up the fantastic work, watch your videos everyday!
With those huge gaps between the traffic pretty much every bike could get through with ease. It becomes intestring when you've got to filter between two buses to get to a trafficlight
Listen with full volume and headphones challenge accepted!!!
7.38 min later, I'm deaf now, totally worth it :D
this is very therapeutic to watch
That SMR is a beast.
those bar end mirrors look nice and functional, but they do add more width to the bars. RJ as much as you filter / lane split I'm surprised.
filtering like this takes so much concentration and energy
nice vid RJ :D love your bikes
Do you have a video on Supermoto vs Sportbike vs Small bike (Grom)? For both sides, commuting and leisure? :) If not, it would make for a great video!
This is like an art form.
I liked that new outro! and loved the video!
love the new outro rj
That's some awesome filtering skills there.
I want a rear facing camera to see the look on people's faces.
Subscribed! Watched a few of your videos, would you be looking to test out the KTM 690SM?
Can anyone tell me whats that car at 3:19 (rightside, black color with blue strips)
If the SMR don't come through nothig will come through it xD
Good Job RJ
BMW Guy with the full pannier set did well, but those were some nek level splits right there!
For riding in the rain, since you seem to go out in all types of weather, how is lane splitting with that central white line for traction? I've always avoided the heck out of that paint whenever it's wet, curious if you'd had any bad experiences with it.
If there was a filtering category during the TT... ;)
6:37 : I have seen this car before, in France.
I thought I saw you yesterday, my silver van at 1:01 👍
This is insane, nice video men!
Wow the guy with the panniers and red helmet, cringe! Hes never stopping after he takes out the side of a motor. RJ that bike is just perfect for that job. Just lovely!
In which resolution do you film? and nice Video 👍
I'm not sure why you'd want extra width to your bike.
I had the same mirrors on my bike' changed them as they made my bars nearly 900mm from 770mm
How come you don't appear to slow down for speed cameras
Gosh! What a ride!
The guy with the panniers could really thread the needle. #Movegetouttheway.
Every time you went pass a big rig I was looking for Morpheus to take the Key Master from you. lol
Rj the traffic slayer is a better title 👌🏼
Looks like that bike was made for lanesplitting. Narrow bars just above mirror-height for most cars...gives you quite a few inches to play with.
I wonder how tough it would be to obtain a license if RJ was the riding instructor, I'm sure sweeping through traffic like this is a bare minimum in his course.
The only thing that slows you down is other motorbikes, nice job.
There goes another year off my life, just watching that. Holy smokes .Will you please be careful. Have a nice Day...Maybe a wine after that ride...Peace...
Awesome like always
Wow interesting mirrors. Do they give good visibility Rj? :o
THE SOUND! WOW
Hey Rj, was that you I see in Oxfordshire yesterday...? please settle my mind.
+Cockers Doubt it if you mean Saturday.
Yep Saturday :( Oh well maybe i see you another time then..
have you sat in London traffic i went on a Sunday & had to
Love the new outro music. :- )
those mirrors must make it a wee bit harder filtering in stationary traffic
I like the ending!
Hey RJ! I work for TRIUMPH and I'm surprised I've never seen you on one before, even if just for a test ride! You should defo try out the new Speed Triple R, I'm sure you'd love it! Not to brag but we do make pretty good bikes :D
Keep up the good work mate, you vids are awesome!
+James Buck
Feel free to contact RJ to offer him a free 2week test drive on the Speed Triple R. ;-))
those mirrors can you see anything with them?
Hey RJ have you ever hit a car's side mirror while line splitting? greetings from Austria :)
Bitte lesen Sie reel.tv/#!faq/ Da steht fast alles.
I love your outro ;-)
It's a bit like "Gotta Call Saul" soundtrack
interesting how much time he saved incomparison to using the car
you are the filter king my friend...have you ever clipped your mirrors filtering??
In the FAQ you can find the answer... reel.tv/#!faq/
RoyalJordanian - The filter king.
5:35 Damn!!!!
+German Engineer damn
your the king of filtering🏍
Hi, RJ. Are those mirrors good for filtering or would you recommend the other type?
What is with the 701 Supermoto ? Have RJ buy it ?
cute little square mirrors you've got there
rj would you enter a
motorcycle rodeo? would be grate to see you film the event if you could ride one for us
What's that?
motorcycle rodeo?
youtube - it looks fun
That sound!!! God!
rj what about a mv agusta?
Poetry in motion.
hey rj ever thought about going to the track
+Son Le
RJ said before: "Track riding? I did, don't do it anymore, full of showoffs and braggers and non of my bikes meet the noise-limit anymore...".
