- Film by Ed Kruszewski, all other by me. Songs identification with special thanks to Luixpa - Macca Content (see below)
Web premiere: Amateur fan film - Paul McCartney & Wings, Venue is Chicago Stadium, one of the three nights (May 31, or June 1 or June 2, 1976) Wings Over the World tour. Don’t expect a professional film, is only for fans, completists or curious only.
IMPORTANT: If you attended one of the shows you could be in the film, at the end of the show, my friend Ed took some footage of the fans leaving their seats, this is, by far, the only part of the film with good quality!!! So if you attended watch it!

This is the Chicago Stadium. I recognized it at the end of the footage where the crowd leaves. Now we need to identify which one of the 3 shows it is.
Thanks Pierre-Marc! I'm going to reprocess this to remove some portions with film-dust in the scanner (film to digital) and with a friend we're going to identify the show, we have the audio for the three shows
Hi! I would love to audio dub this for you. I’ll get on it soon.
Let me ask Ed, the owner of the reels and will get back. If approved, I'll send the silent uncompressed movie not the reels, and will add the name you want for the credits in the watermark
@@gliedo I would really appreciate that, thank you!

Thanks a lot! (REALLY REALLY REALLY) With such an amount of short clips it will be impossible to synchronize the audio! LOL of the 29 songs played that night 17 are in the reels!!!
Your informarion witb proper credits and thankyous including a link to your channel is now on the video descriptio, thanks for your time, and specially for the valuable information, I appreciate it a lot... btw, , I'm sure Ed, who took the film, will be happy of that!
Jimmy seems to wear a sleeveless jacket during Let Me Roll It. I have footage from the may 31st and june 1st where he wears a normal white jacket (with sleeves) making me think that this footage might very well be from june 2nd. But I'm not 100% sure since I don't have any footage from the third show.
Did you shoot any 8mm footage from Wings concert?
@@pianomansbird4095 No I did not
Hi There
Any change Ed shot any George Harrison's 1974 tour concert footage ?
Hey, i may be wrong but i think the venue is Chicago Stadium, most likely the second or third night.
Thanks, this helps a lot, with a friend in Russia we're going to make a new version with sync audio dub, I will transfer again the reels from film to digital (some have film dust)
Hey, this footage can't come from New York, Denny wore a different outfit during the openers in both 5/24 and 5/25.
Edit: I think the footage could instead come from the Uniondale show on 5/21, Denny's outfit matches there
I'm gonna ask Ed, the films he sent were the Rolling Stones in 1972 /July 25, but sent in the package were 5 reels and he told me that he didn't remember what was in them... I think we're on time to identify the venue. Thanks again Luixpa! You rock
I added a text in the video, with a big thank you again, also I changed the video title, thanks Luixpa!
@@gliedo thanks a lot lol, however some friends tried to match the video to Uniondale audio but it didn't match, so it must come from some other date in the tour.
@@luixpa022 haha LOL I edited the video title for Nassau Colisseum so I will edit it again for "Unknown venue and date" thanks again Luixpa. If you don't know the venue I think it will be a mystery for eternity
@@luixpa022 For this film, the speed was not altered, it's the scanner speed. Still a mystery, thanks again. I'm going to make the transfer once more as this one has some "film dust" visible. Probably a friend is going to add audio, but being so much "short-scenes" and associated songs it will be hard. Thanks again for your time, and specially for the valuable and reliable information
Hi there - any chance Ed shot any Led Zeppelin? If so, would be immensely interested in syncing it! Excellent footage, this and the Stones!
No, unfortunately no Led Zeppelin
I sent a message from Forum
Thanks a lot!! Also on reel 5 it's Soily the second encore, the setlist was identical both days!
