a lot of people are reminded of the fireflies scene or cheong myeong and man wol but whenever i hear this, i remember the tears in man wol's eyes when she saw yeon-woo reincarnated :(
honestly his pain is one of a kind ! He knows and is constantly reminded that she will leave him someday and he'll be alone yet still choses to stay by her side and bear the loss ! And the bond between Man wol and chan seong was way stronger to me ! We dont see much emotional scenes between general and Man wol to the point that i was kinda feeling weird about them ! but Chan seong and Man wol have a lot of emotional parts that doesn't feel rushed! I would say all of the characters had their own level of pain but Chan seong's pain is really devastating to me ! Imagine you are constantly told the one you love is supposed to go away someday by force and you cannot do anything but watching them leave , while knowing you cannot go with them , reminding yourself mins ago days ago years ago they were with you and now they are not . It's so heartbreaking that part when Man Woel thought she was betrayed by Chung Myung when in fact he just did what he thought was right but life was just so freaking unfair. For several years, Man Weol's heart filled with betrayal, resentment and longing. And we cannot judge her for what she had become. :(((
I just wished that whoever is in pain just like Man Weol please be strong and I hope you will be happy soon after you reconcile with the people who inflicted pain to you because nothing is more important than forgiveness to reach the peak of happiness. :)))
This is probably the best drama after 6 flying dragons I really appreciate the concept and apart from that the other artworks/special effects in HOTEL DEL LUNA are also fantastic.
