He had us fill out project proposal forms in grade twelve art because we got to choose what our projects were but one of the questions was always "what are you trying to accomplish, what do you want people to feel" and my answer was always "idk i just think itll look cool and be fun"
Same. I also much preferred the old mural to the new main one he has on his videos. I love this door, and I think the walls should be covered in his characters too.
This door was pretty much an homage to Jazza's path throughout his life. And the result is beautiful, satisfying and it is even better to see how happy he looks with the result and how much this means to him.
Can someone just give this man a hug, becuase he needs one for everything hes done. All the hard work, all the hours, the dedications, all the tough times and all the good times. You are an amazing person Jazza. Thank you for everything, for all the laughs and jokes, for all the cheesey and corny moments. Never stop doing what you love, because it makes us happy to see you doing what you love.

You’re my inspiration and I’m sure many people can agree. You are the person I strive to be. Happy, loving, clumsy and even at times stupid. You’ve expressed many things making that door what it is a reminder of how you started. Thank you for being here.
3:50 is when he stated that it was “selfish” but I don’t think it is, I mean he’s done so much for us he definitely deserves doing things for him self 😊
Jazz’s, as a creator, you need to make a little “selfish content” now and then. If you do what everyone else wants you to do all the time, you get burnt out. Selfish content not only prevent burnout, but it’s just fun. Personally, I love it when creators make their selfish content because I get to see something they enjoy/something they really want to do.
One of my favorite things to watch is creators making what they love. Because their passion for what they make feels so wholesome regardless if it is something I am personally into or not.
When he said that he wanted to feel the "I made that, I like that.", I was just overwhelmed with joy. Honestly, I'm never hardly satisfied with my works but when I do get *that* feel, it just really gives that euphoria of wow. And it makes it feel even better when I see others appreciate my work (makes heart go squeeze XD). So good on you Mr. Jazza! You have once again created such a wonderful piece and continue to inspire aspiring artists :)

11:07 Ok I’m sorry but I have to say this because Im passionate.... I got that drawing book years ago when I was just learning to draw, and it is STILL the BEST drawing book I own. I am making a web comic for the first time, and I use that book every single time I design a character! It helps not only with the physical design process, but also helps me think of inner qualities that I would otherwise have not thought of! Jazza is one of the main people who got me into art and that book helps me continue to do it! As Im typing this, that book is sitting on my desk underneath my sketchbook, waiting for me to use it again today! So thank you Jazza! :)
I think this may be your best video so far (I should know I've seen almost all of them) not only for the beautiful artwork but especially for sharing that sometimes we forget how many good things we achieved so far and only focus on the negative feelings. It's good to remind ourselves of our achievements, I don't read it as selfishness, I think it's healthy, inspiring and keeps us motivated for future challenges. TLDR; Love the door, love the video, thank you for inspiring us.
I love how you never forget your roots and where you came from. I feel like when people forget that, then that’s when they become cocky and arrogant. You’ve stayed humble through all of your successes and accomplishments and that’s super admirable. And that’s why you’re one of my favorite artists.
When I was 5 years old I was already *customizing the floor* with car drawings. Oh and not to mention the time I customized the car window, by scratching some patterns into the window with a rock, but we don't talk about that.. Anyways though, enough about myself, this was a really nice mural-style door Jazza!
This is the most meaningful door ever designed This reminds me that Jazza is a human too and not just an art robot sent to earth to flex on non creative people to make them want to be creative
Honestly, especially in the closeups, you can see - yeah, this guy's an artist. That's a guy that can use pens and brushes and stylus alike, that's a dude that practiced his actual craft and has earned muscles memory and precision and skill. And seeing someone like that just glow up and be able to be genuinely proud and have the feeling of "wow. I _made_ that" when taking a step back - especially recently - is simply so heartwarming and amazing. Hope you get to make more "selfish" projects again soon
14:01 , That actually scared the heck out of me . After I understood it was a joke I laughed , like I really laughed , like I laughed my heart out and played the clip over and over and over again ...... But this clip aside , this video was so deep and shows how Jazza feels and what is important to him in life ...... THIS IS A AMAZING VIDEO JAZZA ....
You explaining the characters on the door one by one made me cry. Been doubting my potential to grow and be worth something as an artist lately. Really needed this. Thanks Jazza :).
Seeing all this combined with the memories, inspiration and sacrifices makes me tear up in joy of how far you gotten. I am very happy for you and you are my biggest inspiration and i can't thank you enough for being such a great inspiration for each of us
I noticed that many artists, when they do things for themselves, it tends to be some of their most successful or likable creation. Don’t feel selfish for creating things that you love, it is literally what we’re here for. We don’t want to see you grind every day to try to please us. Instead, we want to peek into your life because your passion and determination is so inspiring that it draws us to it (heh). So go on. Keep being yourself and keep doing things that inspire you because, even if you don’t realize, that is what inspires us, too.
Hearing about the connections of all of the characters on the door and what they symbolize in your life was fantastic. Thank you for sharing that with us
Sometimes I feel like giving up art. I see your videos and see how much fun you have ,and how you enjoy, and express yourself, it makes me want to keep doing art. Thank you for being you .
"Never underestimate the harvest a few seeds of inspiration can provide." If this isn't a quote or t-shirt, it should be. With inspiration, motivation, and support, anything is possible. Thank you for being an inspiration, and sharing your journey with us. I'm looking forward to seeing what the future brings.
Love it when you make videos like this. These "selfish projects" are so genuine and have so many lessons that they inspire a lot. ❤ Also loved the ending 😂
Know that this video wasn’t selfish. This video was about self care. Also watching you get so happy about doing something you love is why I subscribed years ago. Watching you get stupid happy over your job is a joy.
This door you just painted has such a beautiful deep meaning and I wish someday i could be creating something like this when I grow up ; ^ : The fire ending tho OwO
Everyone needs to take some time to do things for themselves. This is what you did and I love it. I hope every time you look at it it lifts you to do great things and reminds you that no matter what people think of the things you do, you are an extremely talented artist and you always need to take time for yourself❤
There is nothing selfish about creating just for you, creating for creations sake! You have worked hard your entire life to write your own story, why not illustrate that story anyway you see fit!! I get told another that the things I have been through and overcome inspire other people to keep fighting, and while that is wonderful sometimes we just need to inspire ourselves !! Your outlook and attitude are so so AWESOME!! I am someone who believes everything in life is a choice and life only has the power over you that you give it! I don't meet many people who seem to understand that ,but I feel like you do!! Thanks for always being so much fun and always being real! Tana
I think that door came out perfect, that comic stock image definitely tied it all together. Your videos have most definitely helped since losing my job due to Covid-19, and you along with another RUclipsr inspired me to finish my art degree. Love this.
I love that the tale teller is on there because I know that it isn’t the most viewed video but I can honestly say it was an amazing video and probably one of my favorite things you’ve done.
3:52 art is rarely selfish. Art is specifically for your joy, if it makes you happy. Never call your art selfish, it’s always meant for yourself and for you to enjoy!! your art in incredible! love you dude

I love how you never forget your roots and where you came from. I feel like when people forget that, then that’s when they become cocky and arrogant. You’ve stayed humble through all of your successes and accomplishments and that’s super admirable. And that’s why you’re one of my favorite artists.
"True art comes from the heart." Jazza's door has really shown me that I don't have to make things because of someone else and for that, thank you.
When I was 5 years old I was already *customizing the floor* with car drawings.
Oh and not to mention the time I customized the car window, by scratching some patterns into the window with a rock, but we don't talk about that..
Anyways though, enough about myself, this was a really nice mural-style door Jazza!
This is the most meaningful door ever designed
This reminds me that Jazza is a human too and not just an art robot sent to earth to flex on non creative people to make them want to be creative
"I didn't even know we had a toaster" is exactly what i would say in a fire hahahahah
I really hope, somewhere out there, the disney guy sees this and sees your growth and is proud of you.
It is good that you remember things that you have seen before and how they motivate you. Good job on the door
It looks awesome.
alternative title: Jazza makes his fans cry for 15 minutes straight.
so true
I thought I was the only one
No
14:01 , That actually scared the heck out of me .
The Tale Teller is highly underrated gem.
Is it something I could go see anywhere?
You can find it somewhere hidden in Jazza’s channel
@@mandarintomato9205 Yeah, it's on Jazza's channel, just search for it. Definitely worth a watch.
You explaining the characters on the door one by one made me cry. Been doubting my potential to grow and be worth something as an artist lately. Really needed this. Thanks Jazza :).
Jazza, looking at his son: "i made that. I like that."
I just realised what you meant- I'm scarred for life-
Now paint the other side. Like a portal back to the “real” world
Just tape up a tax form and a grocery list. Job done.
No ❤️
Jazza family pic should be on the back.

Thank you for sharing that with us
I love when you make "selfish" art, it's my favorite stuff
Sometimes I feel like giving up art. I see your videos and see how much fun you have ,and how you enjoy, and express yourself, it makes me want to keep doing art. Thank you for being you .
Jazza: "This is my door"
Me: "Nice"
Jazza: "This is my dreams come true door."
Me: *holding back tears* "Nice."
Jazza: I been doing things you guys love so I wanted to reward Myself
Everyone: Enjoy the video just as much because it's Jazza
My uncle painted a fake door on his wall. It is so realistic people actually think it's real 🤣
That's awesome 😂😂
@@jodoodlyboi2963 hah yeah. He's an artist too like jazza. He's very good I look up to him a lot
Роман Барков plot twist:Jazza is ur uncle
@@ark_q 🤣
Kinda want to see it now 😅
"Never underestimate the harvest a few seeds of inspiration can provide." If this isn't a quote or t-shirt, it should be. With inspiration, motivation, and support, anything is possible. Thank you for being an inspiration, and sharing your journey with us. I'm looking forward to seeing what the future brings.
Hey, Jazza! doing something for yourself isn't selfish. Do whatever you want to do, as long if it makes you happy, then go ahead!
dammit girl i am totally agree with your words and i am hoping Jazza saw your comment
Love it when you make videos like this. These "selfish projects" are so genuine and have so many lessons that they inspire a lot. ❤
Also loved the ending 😂
2:01
Okay but can we take a moment to acknowledge the wholesome fact that Jazza hung a picture of him, James , Jaiden and Joel on the wall there :]?
I know who everyone is except for joel. Who's joel?
RedHeadedElf RoomieOfficial. He has a channel on RUclips where he does music related content
@@rodimuus i know who roomie is. Didn't realize his real name was joel.
Know that this video wasn’t selfish. This video was about self care. Also watching you get so happy about doing something you love is why I subscribed years ago. Watching you get stupid happy over your job is a joy.
No one:
Jazza: DOOR FABULIZATION!!!
Hello fellow cuber :)
This is a dumb comment why did I get so Many likes lol
This door you just painted has such a beautiful deep meaning and I wish someday i could be creating something like this when I grow up
; ^ :
The fire ending tho OwO
Why did the painting go to jail?
Because it was framed..
I'll show myself out thank you
The criminal painted over the evidence toward the painting. I'll see you out.
XD
Bah dum chhh
Dad...?
love a good dad joke, thanks
Everyone needs to take some time to do things for themselves. This is what you did and I love it. I hope every time you look at it it lifts you to do great things and reminds you that no matter what people think of the things you do, you are an extremely talented artist and you always need to take time for yourself❤
Jazza: "At Jazza Studios, we're going to bring dreams...to life."
that sounds like something from Batim
On the other side of the door (or somewhere else, idk) you should make a mural with avatar versions off your whole team.
Someone: Walks through door while Jazza's painting.
Jazza: OW! Fu.. Family Friendly.
Tana
If this was a nostalgia trip for me, I could only imagine what Jazza was feeling through out this project.
Not selfish, ok, NOT SELFISH
This is simply epic like everything else you do
The next episode: " Custom painting" my window because
*.
Plz we want that
Matthias is quaking. Why??? Because.
Because? Maybe to always have a nice view every day?
*You can also paint your son's door I reckon he will love it*
*Also It Looks Amazing, keep up the good work literally*
You grateful (great full) soul...thank you for sharing a piece of you with us. You are inspirational and humble and I thoroughly enjoyed watching your process. Stay beautiful!
