I don’t think people realize how long Shishiron’s been on the grind. She’s been streaming in Bilibili/Nico Nico/YT since 2010 and Hololive isn’t even her first foray into vtubing (her OG illustrator/mama is ironically Towa’s lion girl mama 😮). She’s done dang near everything in the gaming/streaming sphere and Hololive was finally her big break after years of effort. 😌

@@rektl2036Shes actually interacted with a bunch of the holo girls' PL including hologamers, Subaru and towa. prolly not the biggest surprise but a ton of the girls pre holoX, knew of eachother as most of them were streamers on similar platforms before hololive. Some were also decently popular underground idols or voice actors as well and in the 2010s it wasnt unusual for them to learn of eachother as the spaces were no where near as saturated as they are now

Supposedly Nene had been auditioning and failing since the 2nd generation auditions. She just kept trying and trying and trying and out of frustration said FINE YOU'RE A HOLOLIVE GIRL NOW lol.
Now she has hundreds of thousands of husbands.
A fighter pilot youtuber i watch has good life advice: Someone might eliminate you from doing what you want, so dont self-eliminate and make not getting what you want more likely. He says "Make them tell you 'No" ". Nene made them tell her no..... 3 times. (GAMERS doesnt really count because thats the neopotism "Are you friends with Fubuki? HIRED!" generation.)

Tbf, GAMERS was when hololive was just a small vtuber agency and Fubuki was basically scouting for hololive and recommending her friends that want in. Proved to be a great choice though, and is also proof of Fubuki's status in the company being relatively high.

    • @stefanyuwono1909

@@trustedsource7774 people forgot that hololive was still small even after GAMERS. Hindsight is 20-20, but it wasn't obvious that they would became arguably one of the biggest. And all 4 of them became icons that pushed viewers into the hololive rabbithole. All family businesses are nepotism. Nepotism is only negative when the people you employed never grow up and became competent.
