His(Monkey Manhwa Recap) story contents are good but he's suffering from a rare disease called "I Give Up Culosis". He can't finish or continue anything at all.
I like the technology tree too I would have liked it more if it continued to the point of them invading another universe to save their own dying universe but sadly it didn't continue and it ended there.
When it keeps saying galaxy I get the feeling it's a translation problem. I noticed on several videos that Chinese to English has a tendency to confuse the two.
This does seem to the case. But there are several similar words that sometimes don't translate well. For example, in Chinese cultivation type novels its rather common to read or hear of characters refer to what are obviously spears as quote, "guns".
chapter 5 here. why does a mining vessel have a cultivation and refrigerated area??? it was designed for mining. it astounds me that someone could imagine this and write it down in a novel and yet so completely ignore the fact that there are problems in nearly every sentence written .

(This is a reference to r/isekai where they don't count going to the future as an isekai because it's technically the same world.) Edit: this probably isnt in the Star Ocean universe, but it should still count as isekai. It at least has psychic powers if you require a magic system.
Instead of "isekai", this story should be considered a pure science fiction genre with a "transmigration" tag added. BTW: If MC is from a fantasy world and travels to modern Earth (such as "The Devil is a Part-timer"), then it's considered a "reverse isekai" as it is the opposite of what is expected of the genre.

Love writing. My opinion keep 9mm ammo but triple power, add night vision, armor up gloves and boots verses snakes and bugs. Boost cooling heating of suit. Water supply and auto first aid kit. But what can you due if ignorant of environment.
Pretty blatant borrowing of lore, ship types, and modifications from Starsector with a good bit of Rimworld mashed in. May as well just call the exploding jellyfish areofleet, the cow beasts muffalos, and machine clan mechanoids. Still a decent story overall.
kind of wish he would shorten the videos a bit so to maybe 1-25 so that way doesn't feel like you're sitting here watch a movie Marathon I mean 8 hours is a bit much

True Galaxy and Star sytem probably uses the same word in Chinese it's just the context that differentiates them.
