I'd say 2011, at the very end of The Circle tour. Compare his vocals in Lisbon that year to the O2 the previous year, and you'll hear that Jon's voice is slightly weaker in the 2011 show than 2010.
Totally agree compare the European run in 11 to the the late winter early spring shows 2010 and the late shows in Sydney 2010. Looking back I really wish they had ended the circle tour in Sydney and gone in a hiatus for a few years
they're playing to a pre-recorded performance, at least partially. I don't think those drums are live. No mics on the kit. Not sure the guitars are either. Richie may be playing wirelessly to a mic elsewhere. That no mic on that Marshall either. I'd say the instrumental is all pre-recorded. Vocals COULD be live but then again-
@@RS-pp7ng I see what you're saying about the drums, but Richie's guitar and David's keyboard definitely sound live. BJ have always used some backing tracks for certain songs, including IML and Bad Name. Though they could be playing to a recording of a previous live show.
@@unclebozo9845 Nah pretty sure it's an only vocals are live thing. Check out 15:25, Richie very nearly misses the chord and moves his hand with no change in sound.
First time I've seen a big-time professional band using guitar stands. In You Give Love A Bad Name, Jon sets his guitar on a guitar stand, rather than giving it to a guitar tech.
Yeah I think this is playback.. a very good playback as well.. There are only a few minor instances where I could tell, where Richie didn't play the right thing, or Jon didnt appear to sing something right
Hate to burst your bubbles but its playback..no mics on anything drums, amps, the vocals MIGHT be live but more then likely playing along to a recordered live take
hey hAnd90, question, after the Covid relief show that Jon made. i think there is no doubt that Jon's voice has greatly improved, he sounds like hes in 2015, i think is just a matter of him finally letting his voice rest during this quarantine... do you think he can get even better? and if so i hope that with his voice improvement comes better live shows.
2015 was a low point for him voice-wise. It got slightly better by early 2017, then dropped off again by the end of that year (except for Rio and Sao Paulo. His voice was unusually strong for that year at those two shows).
It's great that jons voice is better again I think he had a lot of a stress richie leaving couldn't have been easy to complete a tour on your own and hold it together for his sake the band and the fans now he knows he can do it with or without richie his true fans will always support him and the band
He sounded decent, but there are a few factors we shouldn't forget. It wasn't purely live (some re-editing and probably note-correction before it aired). Simply because it was too spotless. Then, his solo line-up complements him more than what's on the stage as Bon Jovi these days. The playing style and, much more importantly, the vocal harmonies of his solo guitar player complement him much more. And it was an acoustic gig. His breathing and tempo was okay, but then again, the songs are much easier to sing in these arrangements. He's sounded more pleasant on these occasions throughout the last 5 years. So, for conclusion: him doing these kind of sets can be quite nice and enjoyable. But he'll never get back to sounding good when having to sing his back catalogue in the original way in an arena or a stadium.
I was there, my first ever concert( saw them inside later on) bloody brilliant they were!
Bon jovi amazing...❤❤❤🇮🇩🇮🇩

Magnificent songlist, sensational vocals Jon, stellar solos and band performance
Fabulous songs and great vocals, sensational performance, it’s terrific
Good quality show when Sambora was part and Job had a voice 🇧🇷
Qn' puede poner en duda q son la mejor banda del mundo no cualquiera vocaliza tan bn en ese scenario....
Wonderfull
Some decades make bigger differences than others...
Wonderfull!!! From Uruguay💙💙🎶🎶🎶😘😘
He could still sing... his voice started to fade in 2012.
I would say in 2013, right after Richie left

@@willscott7295 hopefully coronavirus break will heal his voice somewhat. At least back to 2013 days
That guitar intro to Superman Tonight sounds so bad ass!
Jhon Bon jovi.. Richie.. Tiko.. David I love you so much...
Wonderful
Amazing concert by Bon Jovi Live at 02 Arena Rooftop in London
Awesome performance!
This is when all went down in flames.
Magia en London....

WOW!!! 2021
Aku cinta padamu Jon.😘😘
I was there
there you can see, there was always a synergy between richie and jon!!!
please will you able to upload complete video recording from 2011 Munich concert? thank you very much for all your uploads
Richie me hiso el dia.

Ja ja ja ja ja ja ja no le gustaba hacer playback
So is this a live performance recorded then mimed? There's no drum/cymbal microphones or triggers, no mics on the guitar cab? No wind noise?
Looks like they took recording from some concert from the tour
Mantap 👍👍👍👍
Did Bobby not join them for this mini-gig? I feel like I can hear his background vocals but don't see him anywhere

The drums and cymbals aren’t miked up.....can only see a guitar amp.....what are the bass, keyboards and vocals going through? Hmmmm Interesting.
Can easily be hooked up to PA on the ground.

That’s incredible. Unbelievable really. Could be a world first
Pre recorded singback or what? Guitar cab or drums weren't mic'd.

@@kjocle2025 Yeah but its not the studio version.
I think they could have recorded it on a soundcheck. Seems to be taken from table not even mixed.
Could be from their 2009 BBC gig, they also used that one for the festival in Berlin in late '09. Or from any other tour show until then.
Or just like they do in super bowl: pre record an instrumental "live" version and then singback at the event.
Hate to burst your bubbles but its playback..no mics on anything drums, amps, the vocals MIGHT be live but more then likely playing along to a recordered live take
Bad name Is live
Exactly, likely a pre recorded live version. Nothing is live; check out Jon at 11:18
