I work at a store (Hema) and this song was played 1 week ago. I thought WOW! We are not aloud to have a phone on the floor so I tried to remember the lyrics. By the time I was at home a forgot the lyrics. Today I heard it again! And I literally wrote some words down on a piece of paper… During my lunchbreak, I got my phone and searched on Google the words I wrote down. Bingo! By the time I got home I searched the band on Google… Guess what!!! The band is from The Netherlands… My country… I am so proud! (From now in Dutch) Heren, U heeft mij blij verrast met uw muziek. Ga door!! Heel erg bedankt voor dit juweeltje.

It’s mind blowing how a single song of barely 3 and a half minutes is able to portray such complex emotions. I fell in love with kite in a hurricane the first time that I heard it at one of your concerts. At that point the song hadn’t even been released yet. I couldn’t get it out of my mind though and was ecstatic when it was finally announced to release. The song has accompanied me since and I now have many memories tied to it. It indeed evokes a hurricane of emotions in me. I’m looking forward to listening to kite in a hurricane many times more and also hope to see it live in concert once again🤞🏻💙
