I could agree with most of what you said, about 99% of it, besides the aftermarket parts like continental, being as good as oem. OEM/factory parts that vehicles are usually sold with last a very long time. At least on gm vehicle to where parts are guaranteed at least 100,000 miles in which a lot if not most aftermarket parts would struggle to last half that unless they are just as good of quality which would be priced around or even more than OEM parts.
almost all the parts are made in china. ac delco parts are all chinese now. melling makes parts for Ford that they use on the assembly line, they are made in mexico and i guess some even in the US still but, mostly i see it's all chinese, even stuff like comp cams makes thier solid lifters in china.
I work at a warehouse in Syracuse NY.. that ships RockAuto ... RockAuto out sources for shipping for the most part.... Glad to see your happy.. all our parts are new and ligit.. makes me feel like we accomplished what we set out to do. United Auto supply Syracuse NY
That where my part was suppose to ship from and arrive today with 25 dollar next day shipping yet all they did was create a shipping label and now I have my only car torn apart in the garage and no parts.

No . There's another warehouse in Texas too..I no longer work for United Auto supply..They work 10hr days w/ only a lunch break. And they mandate one of your days off. Terrible to there workers. I'm not w/ the mandates.
It won't work out. They have NO customer service. They say that's why the prices are so cheap. They've always been sketch and fast and loose with the sales descriptions. It's out of control now. Most of their garbage comes from the same crap Chinese plants. Just a different box. Bought some 'Timken bearings. 2nd most expensive. Exact same bearings as the 'no-name' Chinese 'economy' bearings. Just $40 more and a nice Timken box. Both had no hole drilled and tapped to hold the rotor.
Why I would choose anybody else? Elementary, dear Watson: for beginners, because I want REALISTIC means to contact customer service should the need arise. Next, I want the seller to stand behind its product. And neither of those little things can be associated with rockauto. Hope it helps.
Not my experience - they sent me a garbage AC compressor that came dead on arrival, and after making me jump through countless hoops, refused to take it back and offered only to replace it with the same garbage "brand" (4 seasons). And they wanted me to pay back-and-forth shipping. It was cheaper for me to buy a Denso unit for a little more. Something tells me you are working for rockauto...
They didn't have some trim for my 1997 kia sportage. I was looking for the driver side sun visor and they didn't have it!! How do you feel about using your credit card on this site? Is this website safe and secure for credit card purchases?
Sax Man I think at the time it was around 5 days. Not including the weekend. Ordered on a Friday night and were here the following Friday. Now obviously that will vary because of current issues!
Update: Order placed late Thursday - Shipped Friday AM - Received Tuesday afternoon. This was a holiday weekend and I was not expecting to see it until Friday or following Monday. Rockauto & FedEx to NS, Canada, 2 Thumbs Up.
@@richardcampbell6898 The part is a Front Exhaust Pipe (Flex Pipe). Part sent and received is the same part I ordered. I'm not a mechanic but the quality looks and feels solid to me. I'll ask my mechanic to give me his thoughts as well. I had to order this from Rockauto since some parts for my car are quite hard to find locally. It would have been a dealer special order at 8x the cost of Rockauto, so I took the chance. I'll update again after install on Friday.
Never again. Placed an order and after 2 days of pending order I canceled. I reordered and received that order in 2 days. By the end of the week my first order started to arrive. Suckauto started then never got the canceled order and I was out returning order and paying to ship back parts for their mistake.
I've used them off and on for 20+ years and I will say you are correct, they are worse than they've EVER been. I've had a lot of lesser quality substitutions with them in the last 6-7 years.

I'm pissed with rockauto because of their Webstore. Their webstore is badly arranged on autoparts. Thats why I ended up ordering wrong parts.

Typically a core charge is because it’s a rebuilt unit. Most cases you get the fee back when you give your part in!
