Hi, I had this bike on my radar. I'm coming from a full sus, I wanted a smaller bike that I could pedal all day as well as be strong enough to mess around on as well as go on rides in places that would be trivial for a full sus. Does this bike pedal well for all day rides? I also plan on going on longer distance rides.
Do you happen to have the link, or remember exactly what exact crankset you got? I can’t stand the stock cranks. I was spiking measurements and I feel 165 is what I need as well. It’s super confusing trying to figure out what exact parts I need to buy.
I believe these were what i used on the bike. You might be able to find cheaper Deore cranks and a BB for the bike. Thats what i went with on my Nukeproof and they are holding up fine. (Also i don’t know if these links works. I pulled them from a different video i posted. Best of luck) FSA Gradiant Crankset: www.fsaproshop.com/products/gradient-modular-bb392evo-crankset FSA Evo BB: www.fsaproshop.com/products/megaevo-chrome-steel-bottom-bracket-mtb BB Tool:www.fsaproshop.com/products/megaevo-bb-cup-tool?_pos=2&_sid=b285e2315&_ss=r
Nice upgrades i love that marin paintwork
I would like a bigger chainring on that bike, 32T is def not enough for me when I compare it to my 26er 3x9 speed

Well to be fair, this bike typically holds out longer then I do. So i think its solid.
