"Old snare break tonight" love it. We did the same, played all the parts we loved that were taken out through out the season during our victory run. Glad to see the tradition continues.

Wow. These young performers can move. They can dance. They can run. They’re artistic and communicate well on the field. At the SAME TIME they play wonderful, high level music. The physical and mental demands, and training, of the activity rivals any current Olympics sport. Why isn’t this an Olympic activity already.🥇

Fun to hear the occasional commentary by the center snare and those who orbit/march around him. Just adds more personality and character to the entire corps besides the obvious hard work put in. Bonus: getting to see the 1994 plexiglass feature reprise up close. Big congrats on your #20 Ring at #dci2022

I’m almost 100% sure those are Scott Johnson Fair Grain sticks they are testing out. They posted on the BD Snareline Instagram a picture of them, they clearly has the system blue logo on them.
@FlourTortilla That's what I was thinking, like they look FireGrain (so could be Tim Fairbanks) but I think I see the System Blue logo and there isn't that are out atm
But for the Plexiglass feature they use Sean Vegas
anyone got a clue why are they using Tim Fairbanks instead of ScoJo's?? or are they Fairbanks in the first place
They’re still ScoJo DC17’s, just a Firegrain prototype version they started using later in the season. You can see the system blue logo on the sticks at certain times

good lord these uniforms nowadays are just awful. I guarantee kids are not marching dci because of this.
NO one marches for the uniforms. We march because we love marching.

If I cared about the uniforms, I’d have done clothing modeling instead. Last year for my high school’s drumline we didn’t have the budget for uniforms so we all bought these pajama t-shirts off of amazon, they looked crap awful but we didnt give a single shit lol, it was actually kinda funny to see all the other drumlines with cool uniforms and then there’s just **us,** the ~special~ ones. That’s one thing I’m noticing a lot as I’m watching these drumline videos on youtube, everyone’s so judgmental and quick to talk about how much these drummers sucked over the overwhelming amount of things they did amazingly. Life’s too short to spend all of that time and energy over something so needless, I don’t get where people find that energy nor where they decide that it’s something worthwhile to spend on
