Surprisingly a lot disliked the Widebody GR86's looks so I made a purist GR86 version. I rarely do videos on the same car twice so I hope it is worth it due to requests in the comments. Car is still very difficult to drive, enjoy!

If you use 3rd, try short shifting to 4th to avoid wheel spin. If you use 4th don’t worry about the speed, the gear is not very long and it can be both stable and regaining speed fast enough out of corners even at gear 4.
That Supra in the first race and the Ae86 in the second race is a good example of power over handling. Fast but the moment a corner shows up, it's a problem.
It's in the last race as well... He just deployed N2O the moment he went to 4th gear... 😅😂 But the problem is, if u stay anywhere below that, then just too much spin... But even so, he really really showed mastery of powersliding...
Depends on the build. There are powerbuilds in the game that actually have decent handling for their level of power. They will still struggle in the more handling-oriented tracks like Jardines, but they hold their own in a lot of the others.
@@NeXMaXThe Hennessy Exorcist is a good example of this due to the massive amount of downforce it has. It's one of the only power builds I'm able to handle
I haven't built one yet but I've been wanting to do a Purist for B Class, still looks really good in A though even without the WB. Also nice to have the PI Room to mount Race Transmission and get rid of the 6th Highway gear.
yeah race transmission is really important to have. For a B class purist build I have trouble preventing the gr86 from understeering on tight corners, and can't find a workaround. Do you happen to have a solution for that handling trait?

Not completely necessary but highly recommended, they offer the best balance of grip vs PI Cost for A Class (and in a lot of S1 cases too). Drift Tires are also an option though and then a few builds use Semi-Slicks and Slicks if they don't have satisfactory handling with Rallies, it's mostly stuff like trucks though or for pure handling builds like the Sierra RX3 on tracks like Bolo Ocho.
Mostly for its small and sporty frame. In real life they have about the same hp as a civic si, so it's not super worth it if you're actually going for speed.
It's a relatively affordable, small RWD sports car that also prioritizes driving feel and feedback over outright performance. It's why despite the well-known weakspot of the predecessor's FA20 engine having torque dips in the mid-range, the GT86 was well-liked. The GR86 is basically all the good bits of its predecessor, but with most of the flaws addressed...... ......unless you count the FA24 oil-starvation issue 💀

I may be way off base here, but it looks like you have just a little to much power. Again I'm not hating. Think mine makes right at 400 and no sliding

Serves him right.
The ramming always makes me laugh sooo hard even if I’m the one being rammed, I changed my character into that crash test suit
why the won the 1st? there is some mechanics when a car is ramming near the end?
Good overtake on the last race! That was impressive.

@IsuckAtDriving in which cases you use rollcage in A class?
Forza Horizon 5 join Toyota GR86 also Gran Turismo 7?
Have you ever tried to downgrade a car for S1 to A and see if it is good?
Most of the time its not good because they can't fit weight reduction and becomes too heavy for A-Class.
@@IsuckAtDriving, GT3 4.0?
You can downgrade the KTM X-Bow to A-Class by swaping the engine in it.

Everytime I try a powerbuild online, I get all of the tight circuit tracks. When I tune my cars to my satisfaction, I average 4th and 5th. 😔

Are Rally tires a must have for A class battles?
no, you can get by with some cars that dont use rally tires, i know his Galant VR4 tune doesnt use them and super good still
