If Qorvex Deluxe does not have a LITERAL VISIBLE DEMON CORE IN HIS CHEST I will be mad as hell.
One thing I wish he did was that when he does his 4, his chest fully opens and reveals his core. You wouldnt be able to see it during normal game play but...

@@eyywannn8601quite certain they all refer to qorvex. Oppenheimer is self explanatory, godzilla refers to his nuclear beam from his chest which of course is referenced as the demon core.

Qorvex...confuses me. His Pillars are a better Oberon Smite, his walls are a worse Caliban Sentient Wrath, his cock rocks is LITERALLY just the Helminth subsume that costs more energy to get the best out of it than just a simple recast, and the chest beam is fun I guess. I don't know what Reb was on when she decided to want to add him, but he's definitely an interesting conk creet baybe

Smite's strength nowadays is free radiation damage on weapons, like Nourish for Viral, so it'd probably better to compare Chyrinka Pillars to Hallowed Ground - the status immunity of which Disometric Guard shares without forcing people to stand in one specific location. Disometric Guard will tick up when enemies die with his rad procs, so technically you can use abilities to update it, but weapons fire also works, so you don't explicitly need to '[spend] more energy energy to get the best out of it', and it's worthwhile to note that it also covers allies in affinity range, preventing them from getting whacked by, as Sabuuchi mentioned - arson waves, energy leech puddles, toxin procs.
Aint no coincidence that they added this Rad beast, directly after Godzilla Minus One
I think they wanted to make a frame that fit the stone appearance of the murmur/man in wall but didnt want to make an atlas clone.

If there's one thing I would change/add for Qorvex is adding additional synergy between Chyrinka Pillar and Containment Wall by allowing the pillars hit by the walls to add additional damage vulnerability per pulse.

I've been using him with Nourish in place of his walls. The walls aren't that great, but watching rad procced enemies viral proc each other while shooting each other for extra viral damage is amusing, and lets me not have to worry about putting viral or radiation on any of his weapons, so I can prime enemies with even more status procs, and then go ham with my incarnan Angstrum that does more damage per status effect on a target. It gets really sparkly when the bouncing incarnan fireballs, the rad procs pulses the viral procs colors, the lasers from his 4, and the area of my Zenestar all going wild. makes Citrine jealous.

Mags pull instead of his containment wall was my go to subsume
Ironically mags pull doesn't work to good on my mag now.
They kinda beefed the description of his 1 tbh. Feels very mid until you realize that when you use his 4 on it, you turn your game into minesweeper.
His 2 empowers it but that does butts for anything useful. His 4 gives ut chain react on each pulse, very wacky

What about subsuming Resonator on his 3 and slot in Topaz Archon shard for that regen shield effect? Considering we're using range+Catalizing Shield anyway.

LIke you start as the base version and at Sacrifice primes would be available and if the frame has a Signature weapon its a mandatory pick?

his 2 synergises with his passive which grants punch through which evens out grouping being just one line
Except it doesn’t, because the radial explosions caused by his 4 have falloff; so you really really really want everyone to be close together.

Hey people good at builds- I have a question.
I’m running a Str Dur Titania for the murmur event and I was wondering if smite would be a better subsume than xata’s whisper, or nourish. As it stands right now I get +300% rad damage for about 80 seconds, don’t know how that compares to the other two. Subsumed over her 2 bc razor flies do nothing at SP levels
When testing around I didn’t like the pillar & shield gating approach, so I instead put ensnare from khora over his 1 and run minimum duration.
The explosions from his 4 have massive fallout, soo proximity is king. Hugging enemies at acolytes and then melting them is great fun.
Qorvex's 4 has more in common with Volt's than Nova's or Wisps combined. Laser like Wisp's but everything else about it is exactly like Volt's, down to it being useless if you're dealing with like less than 5 enemies.

first thing on my concrete man was make a loadout that gave him 3k armor becuase its funny
second loadout was pure strengh and empower for more of that to see how hard the clap and the beam could hit
the loadout i run now is basically what you suggested, mostly range and some strengh

Ability range should really increase how far apart the walls spawn. I think that would be far more useful than what it does now- just make them longer.

Mood, it's perma-glitched to Dark buff last I checked. DE should just make it a tap/hold ability or a toggle, Steve is out to work on Soulframe and won't hurt them anymore.

Two little details I find kinda clever, or in the latter's case just outright hilarious, about Qorvex, here:
1. When standing in the field of a Chyrinka Pillar, or when activating Disometric Guard, you can hear the faint play of a Geiger counter in the background
2. This mans's "roll" animation is just a straight-up football tackle. Ya got Xaku lunging forward while bits of them float off and reconnect, Gyre just sort of...disappearing for a moment, Wisp just sort of lashing at the air. Qorvex? He straight-up football tackles into the enemy like a Charger outta Left 4 Dead 2.
