The extyrannomon is a reference to the classic vpet where raremon was failed evo and implies that extyrannomon has raremon inside it much like how numemon is inside monzaemon
@@michaelliggett1622 Well, it's actually rotting data, not garbage data. It incorporated machine data to extend it's life, but the rest of it's body is rotting away producing a horrid smell. I'm looking forward to see if they ever make a RareRaremon, and whether it will digi-xross from a machine/cyborg digimon and Raremon for the lore purpose of it incorporating more machine data to stabilize itself. And I really hope one day they make a mega for it that has mechanized enough of itself to no longer be rotting; maybe have it as a main antagonist of a game or something.
New chessmon support, a great new yellow archetype that doesn't rely on raw security control but plays closer to green with getting multiple bodies on board. The new ex-tyrannomon looks like a fun tech tool for lv5's in the future (depending on how all the new EX8 Tyrannomon pieces work in the build in 2025).
I think wonder stomp is crucial for the deck, for 2 memory you can grant rush to a new digimon and go for game or digievo into chapero or even cendrillmon. Specially since we don't have scramble
Hindsight when writing the episode, I think Wonder Stomp is crucial for the wombo combo otk. Otherwise, my perspective was leaning more control which at this point there's a lot less of in the Digimon card game.
Really appreciate this and the Guardian Vortex review, as I'm excited for both the decks and want to run them in a way that keeps up with the pace at my locals! Now to comb through the rest of your EX7 vids (a little out of order on my end admittedly). Also, I want to compliment you on your really professional and helpful vids! Your editing (visually and vocally) is super clean, which makes things easy to follow along with. I stumbled across your channel earlier today and I'm really finding your stuff helpful as I try to branch out from the deck that got me into the game (I pulled an Apo back in February and that started this whole DCG ordeal for me lmfao).
Not a problem! My channel aims to help players old and new explore the game and learn more about sometimes abstract combos. As fellow content creator East, who focuses on JP's releases, if it's not fun, what's the point?
Love this starter deck. Mostly because I’m an Xmen fan and Cendrillmon has all of the Emma Frost energy. I love how this deck supports Chessmons as well. Until I get promo shoes, Junkmon is probably the big way to go. What I’ve seen pop up though, because of the tamers and wonder stomp, is a strange Sistermon blanc deck that makes use of awakened, bt13 Gallantmon and a bunch of ukkomons
Why hello there :3 Grats again on the Zephagamon Chase! Opened my second case. Didn't get one ha ha. And I'm extremely salty about the secret pull rates.
I must admit, I am only interested in picking up these new decks for the 'trainer' card reprints. I am very new to the game and would like to run a Diaboromon deck. I need those defense training cards xD Great video. As mentioned I am very new to the game and this video is very informative and really helps me navigate what I like and don't like.
The training cards were also available in BT14 booster boxes - granted they're just regular arts but on the bright side picking up 4 starter decks is cheaper than picking up 4 booster boxes! I'm in the midst right now of looking at some Diaboromon builds too!
@@DIGI-PANDA aye I have been searching for them but they are out of stock UK side. I am just shy of the BT02 Keramon, Defense Training and 2 Diaboromon Aces. All expensive and getting hard to find. I am enjoying the hunt though
The Arisas and new Chessmons will make the Chessmon deck much more Chess-exclusive viable, which I am very looking forward to running. Getting more Chess in trash with more in hand is perfect, allowing you faster and easier setup to bring out the big guys for cheaper, and both Arisas allow easier swarming.
In a lot of the comments that were posted, it now makes sense to me why Wonder Stop would be used. The deck's style is more wombo combo OTK. In actuality both decks are kind of wombo combo-y.
I really like this deck, the digimon card artwork and the concept of puppet digimon as main cast parner is cool, I really dig it. Ohh side note, why the 'overclock' and the token feel like purple effect.
Puppets definitely got a major upgrade. I also thought it was mildly hilarious Bandai ended up using the keyword overclock since it was in a What If episode long ago. Not the same effect but still funny.
@@DIGI-PANDA I believe it around the time apocalymon debut in English, but 'your overclock' keyword to me, gives the player the agency of choice. Like blast Evo on ace card. It just reverse blast Evo then delete it self could be good or bad, while 'Bandai overclock' more toward blitz and rush with extra step(still fun though). But hey that's just my opinion. Maybe bandai could release an interesting 'on attack' with some kind of player agency. I guess 'risk' that would be the word.
@@ariz1540 At the time I wanted to make an effect that was like the Digimon in the TV show - a little flavor so to speak. Debut a new form for a moment, before de-digivolving or in this case, trashing the top card.
I'm going to hybridize heavily. I'm going to run 16 Pawnchessmons, with 4 Miki/Megumi. I'm even going to run some Knightchessmons [but I will run the EX07 Shoeshoe for tamer play]. Also; since it's Chessmons; I'll be running 4 Wonder Shoes; because play Chessmon for 2 and trigger Miki/Megumis. This engine allows for massive draw power; floating; and most importantly when combined with various floating effects; the ability to Overclock multiple times in a turn. Overclock kills a token or a Pawn/KnightChessmon W that floats. Arisa or Pawnchessmon's ability allow you to play a lv3; a Pawnchessmon. This triggers Miki/Megumi, giving you back memory, and letting you keep turn. Overclock is NOT a once-per turn effect, so when you enter your end phase, you overclock again. I'm also going to run BT02 Rizegreymon, so when I have 3 or more Tamers; I get Sec+1. It ALSO helps get my Tamers set up. This means, with a Rush Arisa on board or something that can swing, or even 1 security of damage already done; you have OTK potential: Regular Cendril swing for 2 checks. Swing with Cendril with Overclock for 2 more checks. Play something; give rush. Swing with Rush Overclock for game. A yellow deck that can OTK is... fun All the floating and swarming potential also just lets you Rookie Rush.
Huuuuuge OTK potential. I can kind of see why the Wonder Stomp would be run now. I've always been a more passive player and controlling the board before I go all in.
I need to see how to build this since I couldn't get any of the promo cards for shoemon, only the ones from ptero, but I need to build a least something funny related with this decks since is Cinderella.
As bizarre as this sounds , I recommend running zero aces until we get a puppet one also one of tai and kari from bt9 could work nicely and lastly I wille say hard pass for the promos till an rb2 set gets announced
Honestly it seems like Shoemon is practically being Swept underneath the rug in popularity when it’s honestly the second best deck of the set. (Edit: Second best deck coming out in this set) The fact more people are excited for the new impmon line and musketeers over Shoemon baffles me
NANI!? I see the gimmicks of Musketeers but I don't see it being as competitive for the time being. I think part of my excitement is also low right now because I wanna know what restrictions we may be getting in English first.
@@michaelliggett1622 Looking at digimonmeta.com I only see one three musketeer deck that placed out of the data pool. Would you be able to point me towards additional data that reflects this? My argument on what is meta and what is not is mostly based on tournament/event results.
