- Finally getting around to doing my 10K mile review on the Genesis GV60. It's been perfect, minus a couple of small issues. I would recommend this EV to anyone looking to get into an EV.

I have the Performance and I agree the vehicle is put together significantly better that my Tesla. I’m over 15k miles and it’s noise free. My biggest issue is charging though. The navigation and charger finding is pretty bad. Even when I navigate to an EA charger, it rarely preconditions, so the first 10 minutes it’s dreadfully slow. My final issue is cold weather range. If I lived in Homewood like I did 20 years ago, I probably wouldn’t complain, but living in PA, cold just kills the range. Great video!
The biggest problem is range. Otherwise it’s an amazing car.
Thank you for your video. I also have an Advanced model with 7500k. Like our Canadian friend - here in Oz - our Advanced models are top spec - just no Boost nor adaptive suspension.
Like you have said the car is a dream. You mentioned your wife called it ‘zippy’ - my word is ’effortless’ ! Best car I’ve owned. My wife comments the car is like a low level hushed jet !
No rattles etc. Solid as a rock. Only I minor issue - one time the drivers seat would not do the full recline ( for when you want to have a massage / rest whilst recharging. ) Ok now but odd. I called Genesis and they will investigate at the first service. Otherwise brilliant to drive and own.

As nice as electric cars are - ‘Range’ is another word for crappy infrastructure. Charging is a real problem for non-Tesla cars. The Tesla system is always working - because they took the time to build the infrastructure. For the rest of us - it’s like riding a horse in the old West. You have to plan out your watering holes - and most of the time - the watering hole has gone dry.
Tesla is starting to turn on their network to non Teslas.
My Ioniq 5 SEL just passed 15k, and the ride is still like the first day.

Nice quick to the point review , I also have the Advance love the car the only problem i have had is one of the heated seat switches will not stay on unless i play around with it, Genesis are going to replace it, I have had the car since Aug I have 12 K on it runs like a dream. I do wish the centre console was like the Ioniq 5 a slider with deeper storage . What is interesting here in Canada the Advance come with the performance trim the quilted napa leather which is very nice. Thanks .

Why do you Americans NOT have the camera side "mirrors" like we do here in Australia, or Europe or Asia ? These electronic side video screen mirrors are brilliant in low light or in wet weather , give the best blind spot coverage and of course, minimise the wind noise due to its much smaller size. Why don't American models offer this great feature ? ( Is it because you still haven't embraced the metric system ? )
Those are not legal in the US.
Great review, In the US do you feel the performance is worth the premium price over the advanced?
No I do not, however that is a personal preference.
Do you ever have " Fantom Braking" either forward or reverse ?
