Mondoñedo, Spain - Visit one of Spains most beautiful Villages

Mondoñedo in the in the Galician province of Lugo, Spain is a not to miss location when travelling through northern Spain.
The village sits only 25 km from the Atlantic Ocean in the Costa Verde and is an ideal location to visit to try and avoid the record heat waves the rest of the country experiences.
The village can easily be visited in an hour or 2 and is fairly level so is easy to walk and maneuver around for almost all people.
It is designated one of the Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España and rightfully so. With its rich history and fantastic architecture paired with its cool green location in the far western corner of Spain, it is well worth stopping in for a visit when travelling through the north of Spain.
