The anime in question is Berserk. Alex is a huge fan of it. Berserk is a dark fantasy series/manga that started in the 80’s by author Kentaro Miura. It is what started many dark fantasy series and inspired Dark Souls, Bloodbourne, and it was also where the idea of the oversized, huge swords that were in Final Fantasy 7.

It's always the same, main hero is the most talented one, who solo kills whole armies and always survives, only cuz he's main hero. I haven't heard much Slaughter songs, but i thought alex mentioned that he disliked doing cleans 😂 Kinda reminds me of corey taylor singing disturbed. Lol i have no idea why i keep hearing Disturbed in new songs lately. I like the song, but i think the epic-soundingness of it all is too "uniform"? Love the breakdown though, and the editing in that portion 🖤 Apparently this anime story didn't end coz the author died, but still considered one of the best stories of "all time" -- based on my husband's explanation lol
I feel like this is how "cleans" in general for deathcore should sound. It irks me when deathcore bands try to do cleans and they're cleaner than something like Metallica who doesn't even do harshes
