    Amazing tuts as usual.... But is this the only way to get a decent DOF? Because i cannot seem yo wrap ma head around the whole thing.
    Or it could be that im a sort of new to this 3D thing

      Howdy! DOF can be enabled from inside the Corona Camera tag (which is placed onto a native C4D camera) itself. Once you do that then your F-Stop and focus distance will be key to getting it looking the way you want to.
      For example, you can select the "Pick" tool in the Corona VFB -> Right click anywhere on the rendered image you want your camera to focus (or go into the camera settings and play with the focus distance parameter in there) and then dial in the F-Stop so that you get either a very strong DOF effect or a very sublime one.
      The idea is that once you enable the DOF calculations you're basically handling your Corona Camera as you would your real life camera :)
      Hope that helps! Nejc

    Is it possible to bake the entire scene into the materials of the objects for VR/AR?

    • @ChaosCorona
      @ChaosCorona 5 месяцев назад

      It depends on what you mean "for VR/AR". It is possible to render your scene to stereoscopic/360 panoramic images or animations, no baking required, and this can then be view in VR.
      If you mean to enable real-time walkthrough in the scene, then that is not so much baking for VR but baking for a particular game engine like Unreal or Unity or others - this would require baking the scene, and is not possible at the moment, sorry. Hope this helps. Tom.

    Very nice! But that UI is the same for 3DsMax! Doesn't look much like the native C4D interface! I said that just for aesthetics! Another question, does it work with the TAKE system? Thank you Corona!

    • @ChaosCorona

      Well, we like to keep the Corona parts looking the same across Max and C4D where we can (within what both allow in the UI), so we've done that here and kept them similar. Won't affect the functionality though, even if you do feel it doesn't fit with how the C4D UI looks :) Thanks! Tom
