My husband and I are slowly rebuilding our relationship. We have been talking and dating again. I thank God for all He doing. A year ago my husband and I were barely talking and he was full of resentment toward me but now he tells me he sees a change in me and he wants us to grow closer. Only God could have done this in our lives! I continue to pray for my husband to turn to Jesus and trust in His Word.

I have been facing and going through a divorce since July 2023. I had been separated from my wife since then also and really didnt know what to do. I listen to a lot of your prayers and stood on the word and promises of God. Trusting him to touch my wife's heart, turn around and restore our marriage. After months of making changes for myself and our marriage and showing her that I still fighting for our marriage. Tuesday night when I came back from South Florida. We talked and my wife told me that she was dropping the divorce and giving us another chance, a fresh start. Now she was stern about things from the past being left in the past. Only God could've have done that, cause the way she went off on me I really thought it was over, but GOD. Have patience and trust the Lord to let his will be done in your marriage.

I know it's very difficult, but there is a very critical point you should be aware of in the restoration of COVENANT MARRIAGES.
You mentioned stepson.
Does that mean you were divorced
prior to marrying this wife who had an affair, then walked out?
Was this current wife also divorced?
If covenant spouses are still alive after divorce, the Bible states be reconciled or stay single.
God will not change His Word or Will for our convenience.
I ask you to search the Scriptures and be Holy Spirit led to ensure that the reconciliation you are praying for is in accordance with God's Will.

I appreciate your heart behind your prayer, it's not only encouraging but you seem to have been brought to me, or I, to you.
I appreciate your focus on our triune God. You don't make this about yourself, nor do we make this about us or the struggles of our loved ones, yet that were all here together, before the Lord. Thank you for giving me an example to pray. I think one of the greatest perversions of Godly prayer like yours is the health, wealth prosperity gospel. This kind of prayer had essentially made me nervous in the past, worrying that I was praying as though God was a genie.
That's the enemy's way of getting ME to turn away from how I ought to pray in faith.
Instead I'm going to set that aside and focus on praying as an act of obedient worship, something fragrant to the Lord. Thinking well of the Lord, as a loving Father.

I don’t see God as evil I was going through nonstop attacks and I have actually repented for the way I was feeling. I have surrendered everything and I am actually getting closer to the Lord. I do thank you for the reality check. If it is God’s will then my husband and I will reconcile. As it is right now my husband is saying that he wants a divorce. I’m sorry but I have learned that god isn’t doing anything for anyone but himself. He keeps demanding more and more from us and nothing we do is ever enough for him to answer our prayers. I have been separated from my husband for almost a year and I have done this that god has required and asked for me to do yet the only thing that he has given me in return is heartbreak and he wrapped my husband up in a bow and gave him to another woman. So explain to me what is god ACTUALLY capable of doing for me again?
I’m sorry sister for your pain. For whatever reason your husband has left you was his very own choice. The Bible is true. Since you see God as evil and the one that has caused your husband to live a life of sin, I conclude that you are a sinner in need of a new heart and a right Spirit and do not have a love for Him. This is your bitter heart that has worked against your prayers. But the only thing God wants from us is our faith and to believe. It’s all He’s asked for. For without faith it is impossible to please Him. We must have faith.
