Typically because of intent: when you are looking something up you have full intent to learn it. Even when you think you have intent in class, there is always a possibility that something is distracting you with so many variables in the classroom. By coming to this video you actively are focused on engaging in the content rather than someone saying "hey, you need to know this so pay attention." Intent is one of the top factors of success in anything.

youre under lucifer's dogmas and bondage. Learning is fun and easy as breathing. When youre where youre at, his fallen angels acting as your mind, will and emotions make it not that way. Theyre there to torment. Edit: long term torment, as in you not doing well, not liking skl or studying. And short term torment, those feelings and thoughts that fill your mind, while being exposed to it. Welcome to their soiree

thank you for explaining this so simply, my friends and I understand this so much better now, thank you so much you are saving all of our grades in our honors pre calculus class 😂💕
for -2 is less than or equal to x which is less than 5, why is there a parentheses after 5? Why isn't 5 included in that? EDIT: nvrm, I get it now. It's b/c it's less than 5, not less than or equal to.
You are welcome. I am glad you found the video helpful. I happen to be a "real algebra teacher." I've been teaching mathematics for 29 years. Wow, now I feel old. ;-) Study well.

Bro, finally and luckily, I found this video! I was only looking for how to set a set notation if two symbols are different and I cant see even one the more I scroll down. But now, REALLY FOR SUCH A LONG TIME TO FIND ONE, I FINALLY GO THROUGH HERE, THANK GOD :) thank you so much 😘 its not that hard anyways, i thought its hard lol xd
Could you make a video using an interval for example (2,6) in set notation using absolute values and set notation? Im struggling with this particular part.
If it's "greater than or equal to" or "less than or equal to" then the value is included. It's the "equal to" part that makes this so. If it's just greater than, >, or less than,
Hey thank you soo much for replying. I’m soo glad you are still here. I’m doing year 11 maths methods from Australia, I was doing Quadratics before but now we are moving into this stuff. I’m still having trouble picking it up but these kinds of videos help me a-lot. Thank you very much again and best wishes.
@@Missie-gd3jw You're welcome. Learning math, like learning just about anything, takes a good attitude, determination, and perseverance. So while there will be times you will have trouble "picking it up," keep at it. Take care, and I thank you for watching.

Thank you - in exchange I'd like to give YOU a gift: The word 'parenthesis' comes from Latin. The plural is parentheses, as you know, pronounced 'parenthesEEs' and the singular is parenthesis, pronounced 'parenthesis', not 'parenthesee'. That is a gift that will help you sound as informed about language as you obviously are about math. Enjoy!

why the hell do i learn better from these math teachers on youtube then when im in class -.-
exactly!!!! I got a B and an A from learning on youtube!
