He'll honestly I think it would have stung a bit less if elwe had gotten more than maybe one or two missions before she got killed off to actually enjoy her addition to the story. I take more issue with how abrupt the death was and having so little time with the character.
Love this list! So many great and shocking moments throughout the games! 2 more honorable mentions for me would be when jacks “ghost” appears in Tales, and just made that game so entertaining, and also Scooters death. Loved his character in the earlier games.
Ngl TK will always be my favorite ("human") character, but I felt his death was sadly nessessary to build Pandora to be as unforgiving as it is. The vibes of BL1 will never be matched, given it's a literal 3D comic book I say it's built to be timeless... I actually got to hear my friend propose to his wife over BL1 years ago, they're still married today & happily bound together. [Edit: Both Mars BL2 & 9 toes BL1 where pretty badass, I didn't really appreciate the loaders until I met a 5 story titanic one. Mordicai, Krieg & ZER0, Athena, and Zane are my mains. FL4K is pretty cool but he's just a Robo-Redditor highkey]
The first "Chest" you find after the Battle with the Four Kings on the way to The Mines of Avarice in Assault on Dragon's Keep. The Very End of the Battle with the Handsome Sorcerer that is responsible for most of the tears shed playing any Borderlands game. The Portrait in Jakob's Manner. The very first run-in with the Omega Assassins in T-Bone Junction. The first time a Psycho runs up to you pulls a grenade out of nowhere and hoists it to the sky in Borderland 1.
Borderlands good writing ended on borderlands 2. (A bit of the prequel was alright, the claptrap dlc specifically) Borderlands 1, set the tone and atmosphere was implicit storytelling with logs. Amazing. Borderlands 2, peak storytelling for Borderlands, not much to add. Tales of the Borderlands was fantastic. Then you have Borderlands 3, awful story only decent because of gameplay. And then, wonderlands and new tales...
Honestly Maya being killed off is my #1 cuz we were left with a brat Ava.

I couldn't care less she was trash in bl2 anyways
What moment in the Borderlands franchise shocked you the most?
Please don't say the casting for the Borderlands Movie :p
Roland death shocked me to my heart

false bl2 reveals handsome jack's face but tps does tell us how it came to be
Do best side quests next, that would be a great vid!

Face McShooty NEEDS to be on that list lol
