Konami is just lazy af. They need to figure out a way to make an AI that can actually win by making good plays. They can only win by suddenly gaining superhuman strength and speed while turning my team into potatoes. When they enter this "win no matter what" mode, their slowest player can dribble the ball faster than M'Bappe sprinting without the ball, and their weakest player outmuscles the sturdiest defenders as if they are Hercules. All of the AI's goals look so fake and doesn't happen in real life - they move like they're being fast forwarded or get some lucky deflection which lands the ball right at the feet like a pin to a magnet in front of goal.
Because they are shitty devs who cant program actually good AI. We would be winning 100% of matches if it wasnt for the bs cheated plays cpu player makes.
Any numbers, ratings, skills in PES 2020 doesn't mean a thing. if someone have speed 69 he can easily run as the guy who have speed 95 (how can Evans win vs Adama Traore in run for the ball from halfway line towards Leicester goal i was honestly rewinding that run and checking up numbers bcs it was shocking, no contact, no better position, stamina bar equal it was wtf moment). If someone is 169 cm tall and have heading 72 how can he jump and dominate as the guy who have 190 cm and heading 86 (Bonucci vs A. Sanchez. and A. Sanchez was playing lone striker and every goal kick from Handanović he picked up like no one is around him. You can talk about positioning and shielding but this is nonsense i mean Bonucci have defensive awareness 88 and someone who is in every parameter worst then him and playing out of the position is dominating him). I wasn't even playing on Legend mode (i think i was on top player and i am playing on easier modes bcsafter 23 yrs of playing i am to old to lose my s*** over pastime). Overall ratings are pointless. It's not about tactics, it's not about numbers, strategy, it doesn't make any sense.
I know this is late, but I just got the game and I 100% agree that AI is unrealistic. I do not have problem that they made crossing harder, but my problem is that no matter what team you play against, they are perfect at passing, pressing, perfect tackles even from behind, perfect freekicks. I do not mind hard difficulty, but it is unrealistic that even worst defenders are such accurate passers of the ball and can dribble when ever needed under press. And when they are in gegen pressing mode, the referee does not call their fouls. This drives me crazyyyy. And do not forget the OP body shield. Strikers just body shield, turn and shoot unless you predict the direction they want to turn. I can win the games, no problem, but I have to exploit AI weakness which is not fun at all. This is superstar difficulty of course.

I stumbled on this video randomly and what this gentleman is saying is, unfortunately, prominent even in Pes 20 full game and in Pes 21. Many people say that the demo is better than the original game. Wow, if that is true then sh..... I have 155 hours in Pes 20, playing ML and what I noticed is this: - RNG (Random Number Generator)- if the game wants to score it will score, no matter what you do. This is especially present in higher difficulties, Professional and above. I had many matches where my Liverpool with overall stats 85 is leading 1-0 against Crystal Palace, a club with stats 73, but then a game extends the match by 4 minutes, and C.Palace scores in 96th minute. - They completely killed the counterattacking like it was in Pes 16 and Pes 17. Also, how in the holy mother of ass is Kolarov faster than my Ashley Young???? Or when a player with a height of 176 tackles and takes down my Ibrahimović, with of course no foul?? - It is a wrestling game now and they fucked up the ref so bad. The computer team can tackle you from behind and the ref just shows play on but when your player even touches the opponent and he trips, it is a foul and you may get a yellow card. - The game is just boring. I mean, I needed to try five times against Leichester because, hey, they play and pass the ball like Barcelona. With 110 successful passes, possession of 63%, and only 3 shots on target. 1 goal. They had one shot on target and scored one goal. How? The ball went THROUGH THE LEG of my player...... - The AI is horrible. The players just suddenly stop, let the opponent pass them, and come in scoring opportunity. Defending is a mixed bag because my teammates tend to just stand there, observe the game and I don't know, think about the life difficulties and their marriage problems, who knows. But it is so irritating!!! - My strikers tend to miss the ball and refuse to listen to my commands. I cross the ball, push down, and right on my analog stick, and yet somehow Ibrahimović tends to shoot the ball over the bar and into Jupiter...... No to mention he was standing alone, waiting for the cross.
@ Ivan Hečimović Aye man thanks for you comment. I've ben telling this for many months now. I also created a newer vid of PES 2020, where I also mention somewhat what you listed here. This Video was while playing the demo, but you are 100% true and the sad part is, that nothing from that is fixed in the full game. I can only hope that the next gen of PES 2022 will get better.
Pretty much everything I felt has been mentioned by other comments, but I want to point out one thing. Positioning. When the script kicks in, when user is possessing a ball, the AI will basically move really fast to block the passing lanes. Seasoned players will try to dribble away to make better angles to link up a pass. The key here is that user players (not on the ball, waiting for you to pass to him) will position themselves in a very vulnerable position - near defenders, sometimes does not run to the open space. When you complete a pass to the designated player, he will not control the ball properly with his first touch, making the nearby defenders to dispossess the ball easily. Sometimes the AI does late sliding tackles but no foul given (in my experience I feel about 40% of time I am given a foul). I just have to wonder why my 90+ rated players have atrocious first touch when in the very same match the AI forward with 73 dribbling and close control have the most beautiful silky touch to perform either shoot/dribble/one touch direct pass within 0.2 second, often making my reading of the enemy passing lanes no use. I played the franchise since 1994, since super famicom days, but in 2020 I get so many nerve explosions when I play an ML match. Every match is a fucking mental chore. I just cannot bring myself to enjoy a match anymore. I just do not find any reason to find hidden gem young players as growing those to good rating players will be countered by superhuman AI with full steroid. There is no middle ground for single players to find any enjoyment left in this game. I am very very sad the PES has become too focused on making the outcomes real life-esque, rather than have it unfolded by us users to figure out, experiment and nuture skills to become better players, where the early PES iterations allowed us to do... because the overall gameplay is very close to fundamentals of football but Konami just cannot get it right at the end. And yeah, F**** you Konami. I cannot believe I never played FIFA, religiously bought your products for each 25 fucking years, ended up with this beautiful garbage. Trust me, 2020 could have been the benchmark for a footie game - the gameplay fundamental is so damn good. But despite the good gameplay, more often than not, the system is constantly fucking with users - I am fucking done with this franchise and will not pick up PES ever again. EVER.

The AI, doesn't matter which team, plays like spain in the 2008-2012 era while your players behave like drunken sunday league players. Especially in derbys in the master league mode. I also started playing konamis franchise since the international superstar soccer deluxe days, but right now this game is simply awful. I love the franchise, but I really hate the state of this game. It could be so good. Konami is trying to make this game "realistic" and hard (which is simply unfair) so bad. But with this slow and painful pace, the game has and with that scripting, it takes all the fun out of the game. Even though I said I am not going to buy a PES I know I will get it because each year PES has shown progress in making good gameplay, possibly regaining its old glory days. Like you mentioned the unfairness is very big turn off but I doubt they will re-code the overall difficulty (especially the horrible Legend difficulty) as some other users actually want it that way. My problem has not even reached the shitty AI. Its the fucking micro running sliding animations. The game play so fucking weird. I cannot see how people say this game is "realistic". It is so far from that. They all run at the same speed flaring their arms like a bunch of robots. No wonder this game is shit.
Yes! some animations just looks off and weird. Specially the shooting animations are really ugly. Also this "ball to the groin" animation is so annoying in the demo. They will do this no matter if they get the ball in the stomach, knee, or hiparea...
In Legend dificulty its the same thing, the game is scripted, the AI is broken, and i won't even talk about the defending system. It's not a hard game, it's simply unfair because of how much scripted it is. Totally regret the $30 i wasted on it.
Same here, I feel my team get dumber on superstar. Am trying top player, easier but defo more game variation. Yeah poor off the ball running/stopping and crossing is non existent.
Wait until you play any of the competitive modes in the full game. I was playing a Euro Champs League with Napoli vs Dinamo Zagreb in the group stages and their Center forward scored 2 goals taking off at midfield line and pulling away from my defenders Koulibaly and Manolas both with speed in the high 80’s and defensive awareness also in the high 80’s and their forward speed is 72!! I almost threw my controller. This game seems to be awesome for players who are really competent at finesse dribbling (I’m not) and know how to exploit the defense play by keeping control of their center back and just keeping him back and cutting off passing lanes because your AI teammates suck at defense.
Charles Truppi Yeah I streamed a full ML Season with Napoli on twitch. 1st half was on top player and it was actually pretty fun. Everything went well. I was 2nd in the Seria A passed the group stage of the CL. Then 2nd half of ML, I changed to superstar and then it got frustrating. Most of the games ended in a draw, even against really weak opponents. So I ended 6th in Seria A, because of 15 draws 😐

This. Konami is soooooo caught up in making the game looks and is played to have outcome similar as in real life. There is no point in growing 70 rated youngsters into 80~90players as the AI players will be always faster stronger and harder. Fucking bs this franchise has become and I am so sad that I am stuck with this franchise...
I feel you man... it's unbelievable boring and frustrating on superstar. Every match feels the same. It's like 80% of the time you are passing around their 16 box, some stupid wrong pass and the AI attacks even better than Barca in their prime. Defenders always slide tackles you perfect of the ball when you go on a sprint on the sideline against the defender (you can trick them a lot using the supercancel button in a attack but it would be nice to just outrun them by times) I always defended pes till death... but i'm done with it. In so many matches i just closed of the PS in the middle of the game out of pure frustration or boringness.

I this doesn't understand the ref logic in this game my player got literally flip and no card but when i just touch the opponent player guess what red card....
I have another issue idk whether y'all have noticed it but a right footed player will always shoot with his right leg and not his left even when there are are situations where shooting with the weaker foot is much easier
@Aani 4 thats true. happens to me quite often. Especially when the ball is passed into the penalty area from the flanks and he only has to hold his left foot to tap into the empty goal. My player always tries to shoot with his right foot, which makes him miss so bad that sometimes it even ends in a free throw lol
I hate it when i'm counter attacking and I'm looking for the striker for a tap in and then when I pass it the player basically gives it to the goalkeeper.
@Jef Costello yeah that happens alot. btw are you pressing, when you tap pass from the flanks, any direction? I found out, that if you don't press any direction, but simply L1+Triangle, the pass is much accurate...
@@carleedos I'll take your advice man, thanks. Btw I think crossing depends greatly on the quality of the player doing it. Like in Career mode I played with Sevilla and I bought Alex Grimaldo the LB from Benfica, the guy is a free kick specialist and has long pass, place kicking and curve all at 80+, it also helps to press R2 when crossing from the flanks while running. Also just before crossing I think it's better if you stop pressing R1.

Tuğbay Deniz Ich variiere, aber meist spiele ich 4-3-3. Gegen AI bringt es tatsächlich nur wenig. Wenn die AI ein Tor will, dann kann man kaum was machen. Vor allem bei Derbys in der Meister Liga. Ein wenig mit vollem Pressing und taktischen Fouls kann man dagegen wirken. Wenn man Glück hat, kann man sich so grad noch zum Sieg retten, aber man ist meist nur am Schwitzen, weil man seinen Gegenspieler hinterher rennt. Egal wie stark die sind. Online sieht es da schon anders aus, da dein Gegenspieler ebenfalls mit manchen Patzern seiner Team Mates kämpfen muss :D Ich habe 8 Min. eingestellt.
Ich versuchs inzwischen mit dem Löschen der Daten auf der ps und dem reinstallieren dann läuft das spiel einigermaßen gut im Anstoßmodus. Bis man die playsi ausmacht und das Spiel das nächste mal startet... Da müsste man es dann wiederholen... Also kann man Sachen wie master league vergessen
@THEABDID Spielst du mit der 1.0 nach der Installation? Falls ja, dann klingt das so, als würde die Playsi das Spiel automatisch updaten nach dem Neustart. Die einzige Lösung wäre hier ein vernünftiger Patch seitens Konami, aber ich denke nicht, dass das passieren wird....leider. Was ggf. noch hilft ist die Geschwindigkeit des Spiels zu erhöhen. Ist aber auch hier nur ein schwacher Trost.

@THEABDID Ich antworte einfach mal wieder auf deutsch :) Gegen die Trägheit der Spieler kann man leider Nichts machen. Man kann nur ein wenig entgegenwirken, indem man passiv verteidigt und die Abwehrreihe ein wenig tiefer stellt, wenn man merkt, dass die Gegner wieder einen überrumpeln.
unfortunately it has some really bad scripting issues. Especially after scoring a goal, the AI goes ultra instinct and score the equalizer within 5 minutes. Also 1 v 1 against goalkeeper. I hit the post min. 3 times every game :(

@dudastt on legend the AI isn't doing any mistakes at all, when they got a chance...at least this is what I think. I only played Legend couple of matches in ML, but changed back to superstar, cuz had the feeling every match was a derby match. no matter which team you play against

Downloaded it on my PS4 yesterday and was enjoying it for a short while but I think that was me wanting it to be this perfect PES the reviews have made it out to be. Granted I love the new default stadium view as it's more immersive and gives you a different perspective of plays. Then I started noticing the same old bullshit. However it wasn't until in Master Leauge I deleted it. A ball comes over the top and it's a straight 1v1 between my Koudibaly ( *88 speed & 95 physical contact!!!* ) Vs some 71 rated striker with *72 pace and 68 physical contact* . Not only did he somehow outpace me to the ball. He then out muscles Koudibaly and sticks it in the top corner....from outside the box. Same old bullshit. Uninstalled. Waste of money.

I have been watching it and I don't really get, what you mean. Should be the Player go to another Direction, or is the AI somewhat without oriantiation, because I turn my back to him? Because for me, the most logical thing would be just running.
Pause it at 9:42 that is where Alaba stops hes run. And you as they player with the ball have turned your back to Alaba. It you had send the pass i little bit before that he you have continue hes run. I have tried to look at the effect of the coding. And i think they AI react to what I will call a watch cone. Mean that the AI react to you watch cone. So it your watch cone (direction) is direct at the goal, the AI players will make the run for the deep pass. But as soon as your watch cone is towards the middle is like you the "Coding system" that you will to see or use the pass option.And the system will give you some new options to pick. You need to understand that under the hood, its all about to red the options, and it you have played the game much you are quicker to recognize the options, compare to on who have only played few hours. And that is what i think makes PES more like a simulation compare to FIFA. and why to see to many goals in FIFA. Its about how strong and how low the play option is available to you. You can also compare it to Easy vs. Hard. in easy mode the option will appear stronger and longer. and in Hard they will appear weak and sort. Do it make sense now? :)
Another thing. I can make a goal and 3-4 passes. I use my wings alot to sprint with the ball when I have space to do that, and it give a hole other result. Here is a bit of may plays style. It definitely makes some sense. I understand that. Really, I do. My Problem is that I look the way, how a player would react in the Pitch. I am aware that this is probably very difficult to code this into the game, but playing myself Football and being somewhat of a fanatic, it really frustrates me how the AI reacts without the Ball and the fact that WE, the PES Community complain about that since Years makes this even worse. I may be the only one on RUclips complaining about this, but trust me, the PES community knows :-) Players on the pitch would never behave like this. This is the Point I am trying to make. Especially MY Team. Off the Ball is also important in football. You must be aware of your position, otherwise the Game will not flow properly to create chances, which lead to goals. Sometimes my players, because of your well mentioned coding will not do the right things on the pitch and yet the opposite team do very complicated passes, plays, or will sometimes outrun you, despite the low ratings. Many Times I had the feeling, that the game is forcing me to lose, how scripted this felt. Konami should really work on this, instead adding new gameplay features f. e. finesse dribbling and not fixing the old problems. Of course by me telling out loud in this video, that I really think, that the AI is somewhat broken doesn't mean I am just upset, because I am losing all the time. I still play ML and I think it's good, but definitely not great. With the newest Update, I also must say that they fixed the Curser Problem, BUT this is it. The Referee and what I mentioned is still pretty much the same.Oh and yeah that is a nice goal :)

- The AI is horrible. The players just suddenly stop, let the opponent pass them, and come in scoring opportunity. Defending is a mixed bag because my teammates tend to just stand there, observe the game and I don't know, think about the life difficulties and their marriage problems, who knows. But it is so irritating!!!
- My strikers tend to miss the ball and refuse to listen to my commands. I cross the ball, push down, and right on my analog stick, and yet somehow Ibrahimović tends to shoot the ball over the bar and into Jupiter...... No to mention he was standing alone, waiting for the cross.
@ Ivan Hečimović Aye man thanks for you comment. I've ben telling this for many months now. I also created a newer vid of PES 2020, where I also mention somewhat what you listed here. This Video was while playing the demo, but you are 100% true and the sad part is, that nothing from that is fixed in the full game. I can only hope that the next gen of PES 2022 will get better.
Pretty much everything I felt has been mentioned by other comments, but I want to point out one thing. Positioning.
When the script kicks in, when user is possessing a ball, the AI will basically move really fast to block the passing lanes. Seasoned players will try to dribble away to make better angles to link up a pass. The key here is that user players (not on the ball, waiting for you to pass to him) will position themselves in a very vulnerable position - near defenders, sometimes does not run to the open space. When you complete a pass to the designated player, he will not control the ball properly with his first touch, making the nearby defenders to dispossess the ball easily. Sometimes the AI does late sliding tackles but no foul given (in my experience I feel about 40% of time I am given a foul). I just have to wonder why my 90+ rated players have atrocious first touch when in the very same match the AI forward with 73 dribbling and close control have the most beautiful silky touch to perform either shoot/dribble/one touch direct pass within 0.2 second, often making my reading of the enemy passing lanes no use.
I played the franchise since 1994, since super famicom days, but in 2020 I get so many nerve explosions when I play an ML match. Every match is a fucking mental chore. I just cannot bring myself to enjoy a match anymore. I just do not find any reason to find hidden gem young players as growing those to good rating players will be countered by superhuman AI with full steroid. There is no middle ground for single players to find any enjoyment left in this game. I am very very sad the PES has become too focused on making the outcomes real life-esque, rather than have it unfolded by us users to figure out, experiment and nuture skills to become better players, where the early PES iterations allowed us to do... because the overall gameplay is very close to fundamentals of football but Konami just cannot get it right at the end.
And yeah, F**** you Konami. I cannot believe I never played FIFA, religiously bought your products for each 25 fucking years, ended up with this beautiful garbage. Trust me, 2020 could have been the benchmark for a footie game - the gameplay fundamental is so damn good. But despite the good gameplay, more often than not, the system is constantly fucking with users - I am fucking done with this franchise and will not pick up PES ever again. EVER.

I experience the same thing. The AI, doesn't matter which team, plays like spain in the 2008-2012 era while your players behave like drunken sunday league players. Especially in derbys in the master league mode.
I also started playing konamis franchise since the international superstar soccer deluxe days, but right now this game is simply awful. I love the franchise, but I really hate the state of this game. It could be so good. Konami is trying to make this game "realistic" and hard (which is simply unfair) so bad. But with this slow and painful pace, the game has and with that scripting, it takes all the fun out of the game.

Carlos Santana Carlos Santana lol i know. But it tells how PES fans now are so fed up with offline modes, especially Master League. Even though I said I am not going to buy a PES I know I will get it because each year PES has shown progress in making good gameplay, possibly regaining its old glory days. Like you mentioned the unfairness is very big turn off but I doubt they will re-code the overall difficulty (especially the horrible Legend difficulty) as some other users actually want it that way. My problem has not even reached the shitty AI. Its the fucking micro running sliding animations. The game play so fucking weird. I cannot see how people say this game is "realistic". It is so far from that. They all run at the same speed flaring their arms like a bunch of robots. No wonder this game is shit.
Yes! some animations just looks off and weird. Specially the shooting animations are really ugly. Also this "ball to the groin" animation is so annoying in the demo. They will do this no matter if they get the ball in the stomach, knee, or hiparea...
In Legend dificulty its the same thing, the game is scripted, the AI is broken, and i won't even talk about the defending system. It's not a hard game, it's simply unfair because of how much scripted it is. Totally regret the $30 i wasted on it.

Same here, I feel my team get dumber on superstar. Am trying top player, easier but defo more game variation. Yeah poor off the ball running/stopping and crossing is non existent.
Wait until you play any of the competitive modes in the full game. I was playing a Euro Champs League with Napoli vs Dinamo Zagreb in the group stages and their Center forward scored 2 goals taking off at midfield line and pulling away from my defenders Koulibaly and Manolas both with speed in the high 80’s and defensive awareness also in the high 80’s and their forward speed is 72!! I almost threw my controller.
This game seems to be awesome for players who are really competent at finesse dribbling (I’m not) and know how to exploit the defense play by keeping control of their center back and just keeping him back and cutting off passing lanes because your AI teammates suck at defense.

Yeah I streamed a full ML Season with Napoli on twitch. 1st half was on top player and it was actually pretty fun. Everything went well. I was 2nd in the Seria A passed the group stage of the CL. Then 2nd half of ML, I changed to superstar and then it got frustrating. Most of the games ended in a draw, even against really weak opponents. So I ended 6th in Seria A, because of 15 draws 😐

Any numbers, ratings, skills in PES 2020 doesn't mean a thing. if someone have speed 69 he can easily run as the guy who have speed 95 (how can Evans win vs Adama Traore in run for the ball from halfway line towards Leicester goal i was honestly rewinding that run and checking up numbers bcs it was shocking, no contact, no better position, stamina bar equal it was wtf moment). If someone is 169 cm tall and have heading 72 how can he jump and dominate as the guy who have 190 cm and heading 86 (Bonucci vs A. Sanchez. and A. Sanchez was playing lone striker and every goal kick from Handanović he picked up like no one is around him. You can talk about positioning and shielding but this is nonsense i mean Bonucci have defensive awareness 88 and someone who is in every parameter worst then him and playing out of the position is dominating him). I wasn't even playing on Legend mode (i think i was on top player and i am playing on easier modes bcsafter 23 yrs of playing i am to old to lose my s*** over pastime). Overall ratings are pointless. It's not about tactics, it's not about numbers, strategy, it doesn't make any sense.
This. Konami is soooooo caught up in making the game looks and is played to have outcome similar as in real life. There is no point in growing 70 rated youngsters into 80~90players as the AI players will be always faster stronger and harder. Fucking bs this franchise has become and I am so sad that I am stuck with this franchise...
I feel you man... it's unbelievable boring and frustrating on superstar. Every match feels the same. It's like 80% of the time you are passing around their 16 box, some stupid wrong pass and the AI attacks even better than Barca in their prime. Defenders always slide tackles you perfect of the ball when you go on a sprint on the sideline against the defender (you can trick them a lot using the supercancel button in a attack but it would be nice to just outrun them by times)
I always defended pes till death... but i'm done with it. In so many matches i just closed of the PS in the middle of the game out of pure frustration or boringness.

I this doesn't understand the ref logic in this game my player got literally flip and no card but when i just touch the opponent player guess what red card....

I have another issue idk whether y'all have noticed it but a right footed player will always shoot with his right leg and not his left even when there are are situations where shooting with the weaker foot is much easier
@Aani 4 thats true. happens to me quite often. Especially when the ball is passed into the penalty area from the flanks and he only has to hold his left foot to tap into the empty goal. My player always tries to shoot with his right foot, which makes him miss so bad that sometimes it even ends in a free throw lol

I hate it when i'm counter attacking and I'm looking for the striker for a tap in and then when I pass it the player basically gives it to the goalkeeper.
@Jef Costello yeah that happens alot. btw are you pressing, when you tap pass from the flanks, any direction? I found out, that if you don't press any direction, but simply L1+Triangle, the pass is much accurate...
@@carleedos I choose the direction, I got used to doing it that way since it worked fine in the previous PES installents

@@carleedos I'll take your advice man, thanks. Btw I think crossing depends greatly on the quality of the player doing it. Like in Career mode I played with Sevilla and I bought Alex Grimaldo the LB from Benfica, the guy is a free kick specialist and has long pass, place kicking and curve all at 80+, it also helps to press R2 when crossing from the flanks while running. Also just before crossing I think it's better if you stop pressing R1.

Spielst du immer die selbe Taktik oder variierst du auch? Glaub das macht gegen die AI keinen Unterschied aber gegen einen echten Gegner sieht das anders aus wenn auch da ab und zu das Momentum eingreift und auf wie viele Minuten stellst du ein?
Tuğbay Deniz Ich variiere, aber meist spiele ich 4-3-3. Gegen AI bringt es tatsächlich nur wenig. Wenn die AI ein Tor will, dann kann man kaum was machen. Vor allem bei Derbys in der Meister Liga. Ein wenig mit vollem Pressing und taktischen Fouls kann man dagegen wirken. Wenn man Glück hat, kann man sich so grad noch zum Sieg retten, aber man ist meist nur am Schwitzen, weil man seinen Gegenspieler hinterher rennt. Egal wie stark die sind.
Online sieht es da schon anders aus, da dein Gegenspieler ebenfalls mit manchen Patzern seiner Team Mates kämpfen muss :D

Ich versuchs inzwischen mit dem Löschen der Daten auf der ps und dem reinstallieren dann läuft das spiel einigermaßen gut im Anstoßmodus.
Bis man die playsi ausmacht und das Spiel das nächste mal startet... Da müsste man es dann wiederholen... Also kann man Sachen wie master league vergessen
@THEABDID Spielst du mit der 1.0 nach der Installation? Falls ja, dann klingt das so, als würde die Playsi das Spiel automatisch updaten nach dem Neustart. Die einzige Lösung wäre hier ein vernünftiger Patch seitens Konami, aber ich denke nicht, dass das passieren wird....leider. Was ggf. noch hilft ist die Geschwindigkeit des Spiels zu erhöhen. Ist aber auch hier nur ein schwacher Trost.

Same problem... I play offline and sometimes its just so delayed where players run like they play on modder and dribbling is just not there... Do you have a solution now?
@THEABDID Ich antworte einfach mal wieder auf deutsch :) Gegen die Trägheit der Spieler kann man leider Nichts machen. Man kann nur ein wenig entgegenwirken, indem man passiv verteidigt und die Abwehrreihe ein wenig tiefer stellt, wenn man merkt, dass die Gegner wieder einen überrumpeln.

unfortunately it has some really bad scripting issues. Especially after scoring a goal, the AI goes ultra instinct and score the equalizer within 5 minutes. Also 1 v 1 against goalkeeper. I hit the post min. 3 times every game :(

All of this issue happened when you play on superstar? Why dont you just play on legend? I personally find it more believable
@dudastt on legend the AI isn't doing any mistakes at all, when they got a chance...at least this is what I think. I only played Legend couple of matches in ML, but changed back to superstar, cuz had the feeling every match was a derby match. no matter which team you play against

@Mysterious Man - Ich habe mit den Gedanken bereits gespielt, aber ich bin eher auf PES2022 gespannt, da es der Eintritt in die next gen wird. Davon werde ich definitv einige Videos machen. Würde lügen, wenn ich sagen würde, ich mache noch auf jeden Fall PES 2021 Videos. Hängt wirklich von Lust und Laune ab. Ich zocke hin und wieder noch, aber noch den 2020er.
Downloaded it on my PS4 yesterday and was enjoying it for a short while but I think that was me wanting it to be this perfect PES the reviews have made it out to be. Granted I love the new default stadium view as it's more immersive and gives you a different perspective of plays.
Then I started noticing the same old bullshit. However it wasn't until in Master Leauge I deleted it. A ball comes over the top and it's a straight 1v1 between my Koudibaly ( *88 speed & 95 physical contact!!!* ) Vs some 71 rated striker with *72 pace and 68 physical contact* . Not only did he somehow outpace me to the ball. He then out muscles Koudibaly and sticks it in the top corner....from outside the box. Same old bullshit. Uninstalled. Waste of money.
splinter360 happens to me also all the time. ML has some bs. It‘s like the game is telling you „oh, you won 3 times in a row...well it‘s time to lose“ and suddenly your players can‘t even receive the ball properly, while some 2nd league team plays you out like spain world cup team from 2010

I have been watching it and I don't really get, what you mean. Should be the Player go to another Direction, or is the AI somewhat without oriantiation, because I turn my back to him? Because for me, the most logical thing would be just running.
Pause it at 9:42 that is where Alaba stops hes run. And you as they player with the ball have turned your back to Alaba. It you had send the pass i little bit before that he you have continue hes run. I have tried to look at the effect of the coding. And i think they AI react to what I will call a watch cone. Mean that the AI react to you watch cone. So it your watch cone (direction) is direct at the goal, the AI players will make the run for the deep pass.
But as soon as your watch cone is towards the middle is like you the "Coding system" that you will to see or use the pass option.And the system will give you some new options to pick. You need to understand that under the hood, its all about to red the options, and it you have played the game much you are quicker to recognize the options, compare to on who have only played few hours. And that is what i think makes PES more like a simulation compare to FIFA. and why to see to many goals in FIFA. Its about how strong and how low the play option is available to you.
You can also compare it to Easy vs. Hard. in easy mode the option will appear stronger and longer. and in Hard they will appear weak and sort.

Another thing. I can make a goal and 3-4 passes. I use my wings alot to sprint with the ball when I have space to do that, and it give a hole other result. Here is a bit of may plays style. Sorry that took me so long to answer. I do not get any notifications about comments from older videos. Back to the topic. Thanks you very much for your answer and Clearing this. It definitely makes some sense. I understand that. Really, I do. My Problem is that I look the way, how a player would react in the Pitch. I am aware that this is probably very difficult to code this into the game, but playing myself Football and being somewhat of a fanatic, it really frustrates me how the AI reacts without the Ball and the fact that WE, the PES Community complain about that since Years makes this even worse. I may be the only one on RUclips complaining about this, but trust me, the PES community knows :-)
Players on the pitch would never behave like this. This is the Point I am trying to make. Especially MY Team. Off the Ball is also important in football. You must be aware of your position, otherwise the Game will not flow properly to create chances, which lead to goals. Sometimes my players, because of your well mentioned coding will not do the right things on the pitch and yet the opposite team do very complicated passes, plays, or will sometimes outrun you, despite the low ratings. Many Times I had the feeling, that the game is forcing me to lose, how scripted this felt. Konami should really work on this, instead adding new gameplay features f. e. finesse dribbling and not fixing the old problems. Of course by me telling out loud in this video, that I really think, that the AI is somewhat broken doesn't mean I am just upset, because I am losing all the time. I still play ML and I think it's good, but definitely not great.
With the newest Update, I also must say that they fixed the Curser Problem, BUT this is it. The Referee and what I mentioned is still pretty much the same.Oh and yeah that is a nice goal :)
