Did the guides help as much as you hoped or did they make it more difficult to line up when you drive on?

It takes a little practice but I'm getting better. Itsa lot different than my old Glaston fish and ski. I have found it much easier and days that are not windy.:))

@@oururbanlife6686 Oh I know exactly what you mean. I’ve had bass boats & ski boats my whole life and consider myself to be fairly good at launching/landing BUT my new Tritoon has put me in my place a few times on windy days. 😂
In calm weather I have absolutely zero problems driving onto my trailer but on windy days I can be dangerous. Darn thing may as well be a sail boat for all the wind it catches. Lol
I was thinking of getting some guides like yours but a few weeks ago I saw a guy having even more problems I think. Im sure inexperience played a big part but it was very windy and he was actually losing the front of the boat once he got through the guides. At one point he almost had the boat completely sideways on the trailer and the guides were keeping him from correcting. It was a real mess but like I said, I think he was his own worst enemy.

@@GeorgeBonez Yes I agree with that. I had mine do the same thing once before but it was really busy and it was my first time out so certainly did not expect it. It also helps if you have someone helping.
My wife was there and had the bow line she could hold on to and help guide it on the bunks. Made a huge difference!

Are they needed on the front as well?
