Love how Yubel slowly reveals itself as the duel progresses. Kaiser/Zane figures it out himself right at the very end, i love how the dub didn't change Zane trying to save Johan/Jesse.

But then physics goes away when he unfolds that entire thing with one hand and the cards are apparently stuck together with how they unfold
I put this on while playing master duel, and when I started using my cyber dragon deck, my first opponent used a crystal beast deck. Weird coincidence.
If Jesse/Yubels rainbow dark dragon had the effects of TCG Zane would’ve won but yubel won fair and square though or if Zane drew limiter removal instead of cybernetic zone(the trash version of limiter removal)😂
I like this duel as it combined the versions of Zane with his new look from season two yet he retains his original cyber deck and his passion for durling in this duel with jessie/Yubel instead of focusing on victory at app costs and the damage and destruction thet came with his victories yes it took him at the brink of death ☠️ to realize dueling isn't just about winning it's how you play your cards and duel with your pride but just happy to see the old zane is still in him
It's disappointing that Season 4 destroyed the impact of this duel by bringing Zane back with him still dying, even though his heart gave up in this duel.
that's a very surface level reponse to the storyline. in reality, zane was able to make amends with his brother. cryus inherits zane's cyberdark deck and zane moves forward with a new dream of starting his own pro league, with his brother at his side. Hell Kaiser died so that Zane could live, and growth like that is the only real reason you'd kill off a character anyway.
I’m so glad that Konami finally made the Advanced Crystal Beasts I absolutely loved this duel i would have to say that the Advanced Crystal Beasts are a lot stronger in real life than in the anime and Rainbow Dark Dragon is far stronger and more broken in the anime than in real life. Out of the 3 versions of Rainbow Dragon that have appeared in the anime I’m gonna say that Rainbow Dark Dragon is my personal favourite of the 3.

Boy anime crystal beast without rainbow dragon kind of sucks im just now noticing. Like it kind of falls flat if your opponent has anything more than 1800 atk. This is even considering the anime grading curve of no one is allowed to have generic removal that works.
Especially since he has one copy of each in a 40 card deck I don’t know how he manages to draw one of them like as you see in this duel Jesse/yubel brings out rainbow dark dragon he has nothing but spells and traps literally no other type of monster support😂
No he's alive it's just his heart is severely damaged due to being in another dimension because the cyber dark deck combined with the underground duels took its toll on his heart.
I don't understand why people hold this duel in such high regard. All Zane did was play a bunch of cards that Yubel instantly countered or took advantage of until he just had a heart attack and died.
its basicly an awesome duel against 2 of jadens rivals, zane went out on his own terms knowing win or lose he still dies cause of his heart condition and it basicly passed the torch to jaden and cyrus for the most part. (its main problem is the fact that season 4 happened and negated all of that if you watch the sub of course
It's like, sure he went out on his own terms, but only after an entire duel of not being able to do anything anyway. Your one move is to deal lethal to yourself. It doesn't paint him in a great light. Almost worse than his duel against Edo.

@@cydra671 oh instead of cybernetic zone limiter removal. I think there’s symbolism behind him using cybernetic zone instead of limiter.
All those underground duals he put through has taken its toll into Zane's heart.
In season 4 we learned this isn’t the case it was the cyber darks killing him
